Marc Randolph
Born Marc Bernays Randolph

Chappaqua, New York, U.S.
Alma mater Hamilton College
Occupation Co-founder and former CEO of Netflix
Spouse(s) Lorraine Kiernan Randolph

Family Bernays family
Marc Bernays Randolph (Co-founder and first CEO of Netflix) was a great Nephew of Edward Bernays.
I recall getting many a Documentary on DVD by way of Netflix through the Mail (before the invasion of Iraq). Youtube did not even exist at that time. It never occurred to me that I might want to invest in Netflix.
From my prospective, Netflix provided a good service where I could get recently made Documentaries on subjects that were being censored from Main Stream Media.
Of coarse we know that Netflix has become a very successful Company and that Marc Randolph has moved on, yet I see no need to focus on him. As far as I can tell, he made an honest buck.
‘As far as I can tell, he made an honest buck.’
I do not think manipulating the masses is what one can consider ‘an honest buck’. Honestly don’t.
As an example why not: i had this discussion with my 19yr old. About drug-use/abuse. I claimed that the ptb want young people to be asleep, that they only have benefit of having the population drugged out of their wits. She refused to see my point. It is hard explaining ‘social engineering’ to a kid without destroying their lust for life. Nevertheless it is necessary for them to become aware of manipulation, how it infects their thinking or behaviour. She came back to the subject shortly after. She had noticed how, in almost every episodes of the the netflix series she had watched since, some person or more was/were taking or was on some drug.
Not really an honest earn that.
I do not want to focus on this Bernays. I think it may be important though, to keep it in mind. When watching whatever flix.
I found Netflix a source for good information and never veered from Documentaries which I could not get elsewhere at that time. Given that that was about 19 years ago, I can assume things have changed, and so have I. Indeed, I have found other Sources, including “The Corbett Report”.
I would also note that Youtube was good when it started out. It seems that Innovative ideas are allowed to flourish to a certain point before they are corrupted or bought out. I could paraphrase Ernie Hancock on his most recent interview with JC saying;
YouTube, Bitchute, it doesn’t matter who it is, sooner or later they all sell out for a price.
Having grown up in the Detroit area, I have seen where GM, and Ford bought up the Patent Rights to good ideas just to keep them off the market. I guess the corporate elites think “Competition is a Sin”, just like J.D. Rockefeller did. In Fact, GM collaborated with Standard Oil to rip up Publicly Owned Electric Trolley Lines in the 1950’s. As the low pollution Trolley was replaced with Gas powered Buses, (GM made the Buses and Standard Oil sold the Oil to run them), cities like LA began to suffer from smog and pollution.
Indeed, making money was their only concern, and the people were victimized, for profits.
Good business ah.. what you say reminds me of henry ford’s hemp car and hemp fuel. Just because i read about it lately. But the world would have been better of without all that good business.
Yes, Bernays seemed to lack a strong moral directive. I think he was the kind of person who liked to make money and enjoyed manipulating people. He was highly skilled at this and enjoyed doing it, regardless of how it may harm people.
Many CEOs and people in positions of power also have this sociopathic tendency. It allows them to rise to the top without being encumbered by a conscience.
So, Doctor Bernays was not a real Doctor but he did get a couple of Honorary Doctorates for speaking at Universities because he was considered an Expert at Propaganda.
Note that Bill Gates (the 65 year old that dropped out of Harvard after three years) has also received a number of Honorary Doctorates. Bill Gates is an Expect at what? Well, he made a lot of money. So, there you have it,
“Dr. Gates”.
Indeed. The propaganda we are fed says that if someone is very wealthy they should be idolized and their opinions should be valued. Gates pays for a lot of his own publicity, so he pays for his own PR. It’s disgusting.
It popped in my head that Gates is selling himself like a product also, he obviously needs a lot of help with that process.

Which bogeymen will get me first… the ones in the white coats or the ones in the blue helmets? I suppose I’ll know by 2030.
Who was the man who wrote the book in which he said, ~”My job is to make people unhappy and then think my produce will make them happy”?
Sounds like Edward Bernays to me! If not him, then a student of his, eh!
The Ivory Soap story by Bernays got me thinking about Proctor and Gamble (P&G) and thus Foster Gamble who has Directed both “Thrive” and “Thrive II”.
The fact that P&G hired Bernays to help sell their product should not be used to condemn P&G. Ivory Soap remains a good product to this day and I cannot see where increasing it’s sales hurt anyone.
On the other hand, Bernays was hired by the makers of Lucky Strike cigarettes to increase smoking among women. He was also hired to manipulate the minds of the masses by other unscrupulous companies and he took the money. Thus, he was guilty of putting Money over Morals.
Note that P&G was among Bernays first customers and that little, if any damage, was done. It did however serve as a Means for Bernays to Sell Himself as a manipulator of the minds of the masses and allowed him to get more and more lucrative contracts. Indeed, Bernays was someone that the evil bastards could Use, and they did.
That said, I highly recommend “Thrive” and/or Thrive II” which can be seen at http://www.ThriveOn.com

Oh! I need to add bacon and eggs to my grocery list!
Mr. #PropagandaWatch, Thank you for the reminder.
Corbett Report – Why Do You Eat Bacon and Eggs?
(9 minutes)
https://www.corbettreport.com/why-do-you-eat-bacon-and-eggs/
Bacon and Eggs is actually a good breakfast. Cereal is not a good breakfast, as it leads to Diabetes, yet it was sold to the Masses as a necessary part of your daily diet.
Just because Bernays was hired to sell it, doesn’t make it bad, eh!
You are right. In fact, for real, just prior to typing, I wiped my chin after having four eggs with powdered greens on the top and a bit of Flax bread.
Green eggs & hamming it up style.
Let me grab a couple beers or artificially sweetened sodas to wash it down. 😉
No, don’t drink artificial sweeteners they are really bad. Beers are fine, as long as you don’t overdo it, but the artificial sweeteners are worse than beer.
Here’s an article from the Scientific American about a study done by an Israeli scientist that hypothesized that artificial sweeteners may damage gut bacteria leading to obesity.
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/artificial-sweeteners-may-change-our-gut-bacteria-in-dangerous-ways/
I dont know much about his personal life…but his Uncle Fraud was a disgusting pervert who appears to have been abused sexually and thought that were HE able to ‘pass on’ the abuse it would cure him.
I read that in “Degenerate Moderns” by E M Jones, add in the fathers of behaviorism and their uncontrolled sex lives and then Kinsey who may have died from hanging himself by his testicles for sexual pleasure (and most certainly DID circumcise himself for fun) and the whole idea of letting psychologist use their skills on humans appears a bad idea.
I had no idea Freud was a perve. I’ll look more into it. That would make sense since Freud was preoccupied with sex in a pathological way.
Concerning learned or earned Authority
it can be False Authority as well
learnt errors, false info, false practices
see medical mis-treatments, Ioannidis Why Most Research is Wrong, Citation Crisis or the
march interview by Richard Grove with his “doctor” (I don’t know the proper title, herbal medicine general specialist or something)
compare that to a regular doctor
one of them has to be spectacularly wrong on certain medical questions
To Err is Human!
And the latest scientific standard is just the latest error.
which is by the way a reason why it is a good thing that humans die.
Remember the Planck quote on scientific progress.
I used the doctor example as those are some who have practical experience and practical knowledge generally is less prone to a complete failure (craftsmen etc) as theoretical knowledge (“economics” or “climate science”) but it can accumulate bad practices too.
