Venezuela Joins the Social Credit Club
So you know all about China’s social credit system by now, right? You know, the one that I’ve been talking about for years? The one that we had a sneak preview of eight years ago in “You Are Being Gamed?” The one that’s being trial ballooned at home via Carrot Rewards and other “motivational” point systems?
Yes, I dare say you do, because even if (for some unfathomable reason) you haven’t read, watched or listened to everything I’ve ever done relating to the Chinese social credit scheme (tsk tsk), then you’re probably a TV-addled fluoride head who’s learned all about it from the MSM repeaters.
Well guess where this Orwell-on-steroids system is being rolled out next? Venezuela! That’s right, citizens of everyone’s favorite socialist paradise are about to be treated to a new ID card that will track and database a wide range of information about each citizen, from medical records to political affiliation to social media presence. And all of this information will be sent straight back to the government.
China is already exporting their social credit technology to like-minded regimes all around the world. But we don’t have to wait for this to start rolling out at home; it’s already here. She reported that some of the journalists she worked with were killed by the opposition. So there is no press freedom due to too much violence by the “opposition”.
Because both the left and right media is biased against Venezuela it is hard to get non-fake news about it.
I personally think that the clearly violent opposition is staging events with shock value to push for a violent change.

There is a lot of war propaganda, purely based on oil and other resources, which all people just swallow because Venezuela is a combination of socialism and corruption and criminality and capitalism and the usual CIA-interference.
The war propaganda is clearly visible in the solutions that are proposed, because the proposed solution is military invasion. Either via the US or via Brazil.

Anyway, the social credit score is indeed something that could fit in: Great New World / 1984 / Minority Report / Demolition man
We also have an internet social score..
Looking at the purges going on on Youtube/ Reddit/ Patreon / Paypal , the focus is greatly on channels and news that are anti war, anti-open-borders, or criticize Israel’s politics. Banks also jumped in to stop funding to Wikileaks (due to the exposing of war-crimes).
This is similar to a social score, but hidden in algorithms controlled by internet monopolies. The algorithms just contain a score for each channel or user to suppress certain ideas.
The NSA probably has a political score on everyone already. Are they going to use it or not?
These lower your SCIENTISM CREDIT SCORE
The scientific journals have been using scores already, controlled via commissions and peer-review, both payed by certain industry and investors.
Industry: You are not allowed to be against GMO / Vaccines etc.
Technology: You are not allowed to be against UTMS/ G-5.
Medicine: You are not allowed to think that many problems come from food and pollution.
Astronomy: You are not allowed to doubt Big bang / General relativity/ magnetic reconnection nonsense.
Climatology: You are not allowed to think that the sun affects our climate.
Physics: You are not allowed to doubt relativity / quantum mechanics / QED.
Psychology/psychiatry: You are not allowed to think that some kind of spirit/ consciousness exists.
Theoretical physics: You may not think that extra dimensions are significant or real.
Archeology: You are not allowed to think that an relative advanced ancient civilization existed or other human races.
History: You are not allowed to tell the stories behind WW1 / WW2 (see Corbett’s documentaries)
Construction: You are not allowed to think that freefall can not come from office fires.

In some ways, this sort of “mandatory social credit” system is already insinuating itself into US society. I know the company I work for and probably many others check your social media accounts regularly. I did away with my Facebook account almost 2 years ago, and I think I’m looked at suspiciously by some for not having a social media profile. Interestingly enough, my family quit Facebook at about the same time I did and my son later enlisted in the military; when he did, his recruiter required him to give them access to his Facebook page. When he told them he didn’t have one, they made him open one so that it could be monitored…So Facebook is apparently mandatory for active duty service members now.

Well since “Julia” came right under “Venezuela Joins the Social Credit Club” I figured this is as good a place as any to make them. 🙂
As some might know already, I too am a musician (guitarist).
I hadn’t listened to “Julia” since the White Album was released some 50 years ago! It brought back many memories.
Anyhow I picked up one of my guitars, went through the song and here’s my take on what makes it tick…
First a chord analysis:
I will highlight the key chord changes that ‘make’ the song.
Moving from Am7 to Gm7 is brilliant!
He keeps the melody note the same, but changes to an unexpected chord (not in the key), so we are held in limbo briefly.
After A7 we are expecting Dm but…he moves to F9 instead!
F9 works because it is related to Dm (common notes).
Fm7 is next (it’s related to F9) but still unexpected. Nice!
C. Back to home (IVm to I) a very common progression.
For the bridge…
Bm (semi-tone from I, common trick) don’t know where it’s going yet
C back to root.
Am7 (relative minor)
Am6 (added color)
Em7 (But sings 9th) powerful chord change! Much color and emotion!
Em6, Em#5, Em descending chord line, very common with Beatles.
Ending…
C
Am7 (this time he changes melody to the 9th for color) So I sing a song of love, Julia. Beautiful touch!
Now the fingerpicking:
John employs Travis picking throughout, which is basically 5,4,6,4 with the thumb.
He is extremely consistent with this pattern throughout the song so it makes it ‘easier’ to learn. 🙂
As long as you are playing the correct chord shapes, the fingerpicking pattern will work.
Melody analysis:
John employs a technique of holding the melody note and changing the chords under it.
The first 8 bars (with 7 chords) has the exact same melody note (G) sung on top of the chords.
On the Gm9, he plays and sings the 9th for lovely color,
the A note.
He stays with the A moving through to the A7.
Then back to his persistent G melody note, on the F9 chord.
And he stays with it (G) for the next four chords to return
to the second verse.
On the Em7 in the bridge (as mentioned before) he sings the 9th to give much color and emotion!
For the ending (also mentioned above) to add interest and color he changes the melody this time, on the AM7, to the 9th.
About the Julia video – the music theory behind the chords was useful – while the voices were clear – the sound of the guitar was terrible hopefullly it was just bad recording technique (which can be fixed) If Vinnie sounds the way I heard him on my desk top with studio quality monitors, live – nobody would want to listen to him. The music on the intro to the weekly with the Monarchy Media guy Jamees Pilato sounds really good
