I am 4 minutes in, and asking myself:
Is this a celebration of inaction? Of virtue signaling but not virtuously acting?
Is this the other side of the helplessness/impotence/powerlessness coin?
Celebrating the heroes but not becoming a useful, helpful person, as possible (hero) themselves?
Nobody so far that I’ve seen has talked about what lead up to, what hindered a better reaction to this crisis, e.g. failure of preparedness.
In my country/the EU in general, diagnostics per online or phone (from a distance) is largely forbidden. Self-manufacturing of disinfection-means is partially forbidden and the ept reported some self-made recipes or the recipes that the apothecaries (who got now a go to self-manufacture in Germany) will be using was reported.
Further: centralization and authority to doctors, health personell.
No wide-spread testing kits and material for blood or other tests, no, people have to get to the doctor. Just one factor in long waiting appointments already before the crisis.
A general restraint and warning of self-responsibility, a patronization concerning medical and chemical concerns.
This all breeds the mentioned helplessness/impotence
it also decreases potential (medically and chemically and health security) personell and supply of useful goods.
Supposed coming respirator shortage could have been prevented by having them decentrally spread in a PREPARATION mode at doctors practices and nursing homes etc., not centrally by bureaucrats or only at large medical institutions.
And anyway could easily be manufactured in the last weeks and now, e.g. some attempting to re-calibrate and use diving masks.

No one has clapped for me yet when I walk outside. I am a healthcare worker. In fact, my neighbors have been avoiding me. This virus fear has created a weird germaphobia and people who could potentially be carriers are like lepers at least that’s my thoughts on the matter. I think it might be some staged Instagram “virtue signaling” event.
My area does not have a “surge” of cases. The people few people who be dying from these people are elderly with health issues. There are anecdotal reports of a few young people who were healthy that get sick from it and require treatment in the ICU, but that appears to be a minority of people. What I have seen so far is fewer people coming into the hospital. This can potentially create significant problems for people who need to be seen for a health emergency but are told to “stay home”.
I think some people can get very sick, but that is not a reason to shut down the world economy and take away constitutional rights, forced quarantines of mass number fo people. Why not give masks out if this is really that bad. Give N95 masks out for the most vulnerable people so they can take precautions in crowded places?

Easy to understand. If your nurse scrubs may be carrying not only corona(probably no biggie) but even worse disease pathogens which occur in hospitals, why go wearing them in public?
el Publico don’t know if you are heading TO work in clean scrubs or FROM work in dirty scrubs (even if your work place policy is to toss scrubs in their wash at end of shift, not everyone knows this and some clinics may let nurses deal with their own washing).
I can tell you for a fact that all nurses are not clean freaks, let alone considerate, just like the rest of the population.
Easy solution. Don’t wear scrubs in public. Or wear a lightweight overcoat, similar to a mask for your scrubs so the spread of whatever they may be carrying is reduced. This isn’t rocket science.
So wearing scrubs in public should be taboo because corona germs might take flight at least 6 feet to attack an innocent bystander? Is that how it works now? I don’t remember this level of concern/shaming during any previous flu season. If we were talking about ebola, I’d get it, but not this.

Didn’t say it was right since I wasn’t there and don’t know all the particulars first hand. Just that it was understandable [given what people have been fed]. Heck my brother watched a bunch of “experts” on videos and became really concerned, that it can be carried by the wind, left on surfaces and survive days, etc. ad infinitum.
However, there could be some validity to a complaint regarding ms. scrubs. So if the scrubs wearing person touches their scrubs, touches the gas pump control and pay buttons, etc. etc. Its not rocket science how people’s minds can take them to a not so great place. Especially if they visit elderly people or don’t want to pass what they catch on to others, like their spouse and kids, without knowing it for awhile.
The flu/crud year before last? killed a friend of mine’s mom and severely damaged the friend’s lungs to where his physical ability is not what it used to be. But hey, let health care workers spread that as far as they can… right?
This could be many things at the same time, such as 5G wireless, several past years flu, this years flu, colds, all labelled covid19.
Oh by the way, let me know if you are the one to race up to the gas pump right after Ms. Scrubs has been all over it, knowing she just came from a cold, flu, and things you don’t know about clinic.
My question: IF, they are dirty scrubs, which may not be the case at all, but if so, why wear them in public? Give me a good reason they shouldn’t be put in a bag for laundry. And wear some NON potentially blood, spittle, and ?? infected clothes. Or as mentioned prior, at least an overcoat over them; so they are not touching them and spreading it.
Pretending all she has is Covid19 on scrubs, so no biggie, is not the full realm of possibilities but even that wouldn’t be good. Maybe someone did come in with some flesh eating bacteria and didn’t know it yet. Yeah unlikely but since we don’t know, we don’t know. And hence the reaction she got.
I used to wear one of those white lab coats on occasion, simply to protect my clothes from oil and grease. Took it off when out of that environment, so your arms and legs aren’t smearing that around your office and other’s offices and the front office. And that wasn’t even contagious. Let’s rename that lab coat [scrubs] for example of sane activity.
Do an experiment. Get some machinists bluing. Get a pin to put a very tiny dab on your finger. Then go about your day. See how it ends up EVERYWHERE. It will be an expensive experiment, ruined clothes, lots of elbow grease in cleaning things that can be, see on your face, furniture, cupboards, doors, purdy much everywhere as said. Then get back to me on racing up to the gas pump behind ms. scrubs.

I just watched this video/article this morning on the Corona Virus sent to me in the Mercola News Letter;

The data shown in the link above indicates that South Korea was, perhaps the most effective of any country in getting the spread of the Virus under control, and they did it without Lock-downs, or Stay at Home Orders.
Indeed, they had enough N95 (or better) Face Masks for anyone that wanted one, and they were able to perform massive testing. Thus, people who were carrying the Virus were told and willingly isolated themselves (they did not isolate half the population that were no threat to anyone.)
When I compare the rational response of South Korea to what I see elsewhere, it seems evident that there is a giant Conspiracy at play here. Both Italy and Spain got out of control because they could not supply Masks to the people that wanted them. Within days of China sending millions of Face Masks to Italy, the number of new cases began to decline. ABC News reported on Saturday that China was sending 4 million Face Masks to Spain, and I expect we will see the number of new cases drop there as these Masks are distributed.
China doesn’t seem to be giving any Masks to the USA, and I found a 2-3 month lead time required when I when on line to buy my own. To say that there is a laughable shortage of Masks in the USA would put me in the dog house, however it is not only totally inexcusable, but likely part of a well planned Conspiracy to control the masses.
I could compare this “Pandemic” with the Events of 9/11/01, and how I wrote an untold number of Letters to (perhaps as many as 50) News Paper Editors about how Iraq had nothing to do with the Events. As they were sending Troops and Hardware into Afghanistan, I was doing my best to let everyone know that they were using the Events of 9/11/01 as an excuse to invade Oil Exporting Countries in the Middle East. Yep, they wrote the “Patriot Act” anticipating that there would be guys like me, and they used it to make my life hell.
The lessons learned from the Events of 9/11/01 is that all the events were planned out ahead of time, right down to framing the guys that they were going to blame for it. Then, after the fact, all legitimate investigations are stymied, witnesses silenced, and the evil player promoted within the United States Inc. To that I say, be very weary of National Guard, and Reserve Troops on the Streets in America.
I like that you actually lifted a finger to write letters, I couldn’t even get neighbors to do that when they were going to be directly impacted by a corp-govt project.
I’m guessing you know by now that even if you did educate a media outlet, most are owned and controlled by larger media groups who control the narrative. Been calling it the bankster-corpro-govt-media complex for years; of which the military industrial complex is a subset.
Also, in my experience with a few in the media who sounded authoritative on air, have huge egos, refuse to listen to logic, are quite petty, and not all that bright. Clearly there are exceptions.

Good guess.

And all those Monsanto caused health compromised may not be around to sue much longer… And with CoronaVirus messing up their lungs overshadowing what Glyphosate(roundup) did. How prove unless you have prior scans? Meaning all Glyphosate court cases in the future, lawyers will claim that damage is from CoronaVirus… because I haven’t heard that they are taking it off the market worldwide.

Was the mad scramble for toilet paper possibly a panic created by well-timed and well-placed stories about people scrambling for toilet paper?
In early or mid-February, I was pondering the coming “group think” after following the China News.
I thought that folks would run out and buy up toilet paper.
That seems to happen if a hurricane is headed to a coastal city.
So, I went and stocked up long before the rush.
I did not count on folks buying out all the bottled water.
It amazes me…I go into the Grocery store to get some gallon jugs for my coffee maker, and there is hardly any there.
A sign says: “Limit One”.
I think that the hoarding is a snowball effect. People are aware that others are grabbing everything, and so they do the same.

That appears to be the case. A snowball effect that appears to have been primarily triggered by scalpers who started buying cart loads to sell on sites like eBay & Craigslist.

At this point, the stores in my area are almost fully stocked again. The dried rice, dried beans, TP and sanitizers are still low though.
You might need to get to the store a bit earlier in the day to get the gallon water.
Years ago when I visited Romania, at larger public restrooms, they had a fellow outside handing out flat(not in rolls) toilet paper as you went in. Because people would steal it from the bathroom stalls.
There wasn’t a shortage, it was just left over communism mentality: Take what you can when you can. That was about 6 years after they hung their dictator; many still hadn’t shed the communism ways yet.
If TP doesn’t make it back to the stores soon, I’m guessing you will find restrooms with no TP. Or those horrible mechanisms which barely let you get 1 sheet, if that, at a time.
If you are traveling, or your system doesn’t give you much notice, might be a good idea to take some TP with, just in case. “so you can enjoy your go!”
There is so much shit coming out from the media and government and Central Banks and Wall Street, we are gonna need a lot of TP.

How long ago did it start?
Yes, I have experienced it personally. I think it started on March 15th, the day after the Spanish lockdown was announced by the President. Since that day, everyday at 8:00 pm people go out at their balconies (I live in blocks of aparments) and start clapping, pot banging, play music, play the drum and so on.
I don’t know when it started, but at least since a week ago, everyday at the same time, police cars have been driving with their sirens on for the same reason. My father have just told me that there were 4-5 cars of police today.
Also, we’ll all be required to pay for the vaccines and corporate and “special people” welfare cheques. I wonder what the gun totin’ folks in Virginia have in mind? Anybody hear of anything? Somebody brighten my day with some hope for our freedoms.
You cannot depend on others for your freedom.
YOU along with other like minded folks will have to organize. Find and/or encourage other such groups and make coalitions. Do so via phone and online if you must.
When you are large enough, send a directive to those who are in control, in your region, that they must do xyz or be recalled (or removed if they refuse to hold such a mail in ballot recall election) and you provided the minimum number of petition signatures.
Best to make coalition with your National Guard as well and have them do the removing if necessary, since your coalition represents THE PEOPLE and the current govt has gone rogue, refusing to follow the law.
Fraud is not an emergency. If they truly cared about fatalities as they claimed, rather than a rights and power grab, the speed limit would be 30mph and cars would be running on split water (yes, that is possible, Stan Meyer did it years ago, look it up).

Just going to mention a few observations:
Wal-Mart had professional ‘social distancing’ floor decals made for their stores, including square ones for the checkout lines and a 6-ft long rectangle by the entrance to indicate how far you should stay away from others. They also have creepy ‘social distancing’ reminders playing on the overhead (not surprising considering how much they’ve helped with the public disarmament effort in the past).
Where I am, in California, nobody is paying any attention to the signs or the social distancing instructions whatsoever. Why? Because nobody knows anybody who has had anything worse than a nasty cold or mild flu, despite almost entirely ignoring the ‘shelter at home’ order.
Gun stores are still mostly open throughout California and tons of people are loading up on guns & ammo. In Los Angeles, a Sheriff has recently begun trying to close the stores but a county lawyer and firearm rights activists are pushing back hard.
Google has manually inserted a search filter to keep the Conspiracy subreddit from appearing when people search for Reddit Conspiracy. Previously it was always the top search result and still is when using other search engines. The filter replaces that top search result with a link to the Coronavirus subreddit, which is the heavily policed, CDC-friendly, MSM-narrative-pushing subreddit officially recommended by reddit for information about the coronavirus.

This morning, in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, I went to Target. It’s one of the more tolerable shopping experiences these days. However, I was standing beside a masked bandit, who looked as though he was going to rob a bank after he bought his cake mix. I figured he wanted to be further away from me, but I just did my thing. Suddenly, I hear this announcement of how Target is doing “social distancing” and we should all be six feet apart. I just said, sort of to no one, but the masked bandit was close by and the only other person on the aisle: “It’s so clear that this is social engineering that I can see right through it.” His eyes, which were truly the only part I could see of his face, looked at me as if I’d held a gun on him and asked him for a thousand dollars. I hope my comment gave him some food for thought, though, and that it will help him to wake up from the trance.
I knew that two shopping experiences in one day in this cowardly new world would really tax me, but I decided after Target to brave Whole Foods, as it’s much more sane, or has been, than Trader Joe’s. And no, I’m not even going to Ralphs, as my husband has informed me that they have plexiglass up between the cashier and us dirty deplorables.
So, I was standing at the meat counter at Whole Foods, trying to get a couple of pounds of hamburger and a woman informed me that she had been next. Of course, how would I know this, being that she was six feet or so behind me. I let her go in front of me, but this was not nearly enough for her. She demanded that I move away from her. She got really aggressive and threatened to call security. She was yelling at me and I don’t like confrontation while shopping. I just want to go in and get what I need and leave. After letting her yell a little bit, I just went up to the cash register, where a cashier who’s been working there for years was. I told him quietly (and much less than six feet apart) that a woman was threatening me, and I asked him if he could get the hamburger for me. He was extremely polite and brought me back hamburger and I paid for it and got out of there.
A security guard, whose job seems to be to round up the buggies for sanitizing, took my buggy when I got my groceries out and put them in the car. He didn’t speak much English, but I needed to tell my story to him, being that I was just about in tears at that point. He seemed to understand. He nodded as if he’d seen people threaten and get angry recently. Maybe a few times.
When I got home and called my husband, he told me that he was not at all surprised and that it’s only going to get worse. I fear he’s right.
What a horribly surreal day you had! Stop the world, I want to get off.

I was just watching live: “Ohio governor gives coronavirus update” hosted by PBS Newshour on youtube.
They had a woman dressed in a white lab coat who claimed to be a doctor (i missed her introduction), and she spent a good 5 minutes describing the symbolism of the “white coat” and the “front lines” and how proud she is to wear the symbol (white coat) which represents her comrades who are fighting at the front lines for the rest of us. Collectivism hourah!

Anyway I am following the rules to lessen the burden on the NHS which has been underfunded for years, but I can certainly see what James has been saying over the last few videos. I will be preparing as I feel this is probably only part one of an extremely long box set. I should have been paying more attention to the previous episodes.
This latest applause phenomenon is reminiscent of the evening of the Boston marathon bombing. (which, by the way, was the first time I heard the phrase “shelter in place”). Thousands (maybe millions?) of *heavily armored* police and *tank-like* weaponry descended on the urban suburb where the younger brother bomber was hiding in a boat in a backyard. Anywho … when the politzei finally left that evening after a successful mission (ie total military state lockdown with forced armed searches of houses, etc.) the populace came out on the streets (as soon as they were permitted) and literally burst into spontaneous applause as their oppressors departed.
All part of the training: If you like being locked down for a few hours, you’ll love it when it’s for a few months. And not just one small town, how about the entire globe?
On a separate note, relevant to the USA: I have to remark that everyone hates socialism, but noone is objecting to free money. (just saying)

Up about a dozen responses I was explaining to a guy that like minded people will have to organize in groups and have coalitions with other similar groups. When you are large enough your org will have clout. If what you thought didn’t matter, the weasels wouldn’t be trying so hard to convince you of lies.
The name of their game is to divide and conquer. Look how they have divided us already. We will have to do the opposite. It works. You’ll make new friends. I’m probably gonna be fried, but my suspicions about Luke just got higher. I share your suspicions.
There are internet personalities who can draw one in by taking strong alternative positions while cleverly boosting the critical mainstream assumptions.
Most obvious to me now is the exclusion of hoax as a possibility in major events. The shooting/attack/disease is taken on face value and the “alternative” view consists in hinting at multiple shooters, double agents, murky involvements by alphabet agencies or lizard royals…but the event must always be portrayed as real in effect.
If Serco or whoever arranges these events gets a perpetrator to yell Allahu Akbar and someone argues that the perp was a gun advocate or a zionist in Arab disguise that just add layers to the comedy. But they want us to believe the comedy is real. Just like they want AIDS to remain as the universal excuse for any money movement in any amount anywhere in the world. (Think of the hundreds of millions given to the Clintons by Australian governments both left and right for “AIDS in Asia”. Presumably, Chelsea can find Asia on a map and Australians can’t.)
Hoaxing has become a lot easier and cheaper than killing now that the corporate media is so centralised. Where it counts for the hoaxers, the BBC may as well be Breitbart, FOX may as well be CNN. Different buttons can be pushed, all sorts of bias can be indulged…but the critical narrative stays the same.

Man, I’m seeing this with my own sister. I kind of “force” my views on her, as my civic duty, and she can digest some, but not much, despite her great intelligence. I’m not thanking or applauding anyone until someone proves that this is not a total hoax. So far, a small infection/death toll easily confounded with the very large number who die of flu related symptoms every year but especially at this time. As for the “tests”…yeah, right.
So why is the plandemic so lame if it is planned? Why not make the numbers bigger for the hoax? Because there is less to explain, control and fudge. Some questions:
Why would those who lie so blatantly and constantly about war, climate etc suddenly break into the truth?
Why has all other news been eclipsed as a result of “flooding the zone” with CV? Does that not imply that all we are told is news is a confection and of no worth, since it can so easily be dispensed with for months on end?
So I’m clapping nobody. Because this has hoax written all over it. And because I am not a seal.
I think the virus is real, at least the virus that is being tested for in the US is a real virus associated with varying degrees of disease depending on pre-existing health conditions and predispositions to getting sick from it. I believe it because we test people for it at the hospital I work at. People come up negative for the flu, but have signs of infection, fever, cough, sometimes severe respiratory compromise (people who were already sick or elderly). Something, presumably a virus is making people sick with fever and other signs of infection that can not be explained by a positive influenza test.
Anecdotally people have reported illness in young healthy people supposedly positive for Covid 19, but I have not yet seen a case of a young healthy individual put on a ventilator yet where I work. I don’t live in a densely populated area though and it’s not heavily polluted. Medical professionals seem to be modeling what the disease might cause in local populations based on reports coming out of China and Italy. New York supposedly has more severe cases, based on “the news”. I don’t know anyone working in New York, so have not been able to ask.
My thoughts are that either there’s a different virus that comes up positive for Covid-19 in China, Italy and New York or contributing factors that make it wore in these areas. I don’t think the true mortality rate can be assessed due to faulty testing and that it is easy to manipulate vast numbers of people with media. It is probably a conspiracy at the top, but the bottom just falls in line. People tend to believe “the experts” especially medical professionals who are are not taught to critically analyze data. They trust the media so they don’t question, they trust the CDC and WHO. I think many people are well-meaning and don’t think about the harm these shutdowns and stripping of constitutional rights are doing. People are afraid, they have tapped into the unconscious minds of vast numbers of people who will willingly “self-isolate” out of self-preservation. It’s a base instinct in human beings. They know what buttons to push.
Doctors need to start questioning and speaking out, a few have, but the media probably won’t cover them. They want to prolong this as long as possible and it will harm a lot of people and make them worse. This response will kill more people. It’s wrong, but I don’t know what I can personally do. I have no large platform to speak and if I tried, I might lose my job or be targeted. To be honest I am afraid of our creepy government in the US.
Some people think it’s related to 5G technology and I don’t know much about the biological effects of it. Some people have said the virus is different here in the US to the one in China and Italy, maybe a biological weapon used there. Maybe used in densely populated cities. I’m not sure, but I do know that this response is very suspect and very wrong.
Everyone talks about 5g, but 4g can be ramped up as well. Plus, it’s everywhere. But the real question is what are you doing to prepare for the dollar collapse? Have you planted your garden? Even a window sill garden can make a huge difference.

My non-celebration suggestion is to go outside to get your daily dose of vitamin D via the sun. We need it. And a little exercise. I doubt that vit D is the only thing the sun provides but don’t tell scientists, many who only know what some other clueless dupe told them.

Bless your soul for watching full news broadcasts. I cannot bring myself to watch any of that garbage without wanting to vomit. It’s hard to believe that I’m not living in some sort of dystopian satire. That feeling is even stronger whenever I see bits and pieces of what’s considered “news” these days. It’s also very hard to believe that nearly all things shown on the “news” aren’t some form of “wagging the dog.”
Some other tidbits of propaganda being spread where I’m at in NY:
• The tele-schools are trying to get all the kids to do some sort of drawings of rainbows that their parents are putting on their doors. It’s apparently happening in other places like the UK which raises a red flag similarly to the applause “phenomenon.”
• There was a front-page piece in a local paper with some hospital workers standing outside a hospital “protesting” for more medical equipment. It looked completely staged especially since they have been screaming about equipment shortage since day 1 in NYC.
• There is also a constant push of the idea of the hospitals being overcrowded in NY. Apparently, NYC has the highest cases of this coronavirus (I’m pretty sure the numbers are being exaggerated) and they started constructing morgue huts outside hospitals. I’m pretty sure if martial law is going to be fully enacted that it’s going to happen in NYC first.

These events have given all of us an opportunity to watch events unfold in real time. When 911 happened, I was initially confused. Not this time.
What I have noticed is that it took some politicians a few days to get with the script. Then, they all started falling into line, as though they had somehow gotten “the message” from on high, and knew what they must do. Straight away, bailouts, handouts, in Australia, where I live, there’s $1500 a fortnight wage subsidy going to employers for six months, they’ve doubled the unemployment benefit, they’ve spent hundreds of billions when right up till the last election I could have sworn this was the stingiest government I’ve ever known.
Every impression I get is that these politicians know who their masters are, and once they “read” the script, they know what to do. These events are telegraphed from the USSA to the rest of the world by a kind of hidden language from the Fed and other deep state actors. Then the penny drops. Ah, we’re going to reset the economy…here’s our chance. Let’s do it.

What poses real concern is the self-righteous and unbridled judgement that is reverberated and fed in new social bandings, just a hair’s width from hatred for anything perceived outside the dance circle, holding back ‘progress’. It has a flair of ‘New World’ giddiness, generated by the ‘collective power’ to finally and truly have a global movement, where everyone is unified against evil. And if you willfully ignore the guiding hand behind the scene, you really could make it a crowd movement. Hilarious, but I am inspired. Noon tomorrow I will be on my roof with pot lids, signal horn and hollering to stage my own celebration. I heard they might have a clear indication of safety by month three. If the safety data is clear by the third month, and coronavirus continues to be the problem that it is, I would expect phase 2 trials to begin early.
The consent form makes it pretty clear everyone in the trial is supposed to use birth control. What is that about?
I have been wondering about that too. I have some theories. I was specifically asked to make a promise to use protection. I wonder if, this being a genetic vaccine, someone wanted to guard against the possibility of a new generation of mRNA-vaccine children being born.

You know what comes to my mind when I read all this genetic embryo toxin gene protein stuff? Some horror movie like the Exorcist. You nailed it James! Great point on this porch clapping nonsense. NWO propaganda at it’s best. It worked great on me back in ‘01, and I was already in the conspiracy rabbit hole then. Today I’d go out on my porch to clap and cheer for empaths who risk their lives to save humanity, like you and all the great contributors on this site, but I’m pretty sure none of you’ll’d like it.
I got into the medical field by volunteering after 9/11, was unhappy as a lackey Hamptons carpenter, thought I’d help out by driving an ambulance, thought how cool it’d be to have one of those “EMS†shirts, like the ones ALL OVER THE TV NEWS (sorry for shouting), the shirts with the big letters on the back. I joined my local ambulance corps here on Eastern Long Island — after months of training — for the language, the radio codes and the culture (gulp!) I was an ambulance driver with lights, whooo whooo sirens — but the the real action’s in the back of the truck so I went to school for another 4 months and became an EMT — soon learned how limited that basic cert is so I went to school for a year more, for my paramedic cert. I worked on a transport ambulance for a year — took me through most of the nursing homes and hospitals on Long Island, then I worked on emergency response ambulances (911) in NYC — they weren’t paying advanced providers yet at the Long Island vollys, but as soon as they started I working back home here as a paid first responder — at the volunteer corps that I started from. I thought I was on my right path — following the buddhist philosophy of “right livelihood†. Wow, ah, nope.
For my own sanity, whatever’s left of it, I’m writing a book about what’s going on at my end of the medical field, the vollys, the pros, the docs, ERs, the RNs —
WHAT IT IS:

Hi all, I am not sure where to post this question and I can not find an answer through the usual online searches.
Are there mobile devices available that have internet functionality and a proper screen (so not the nokia 3310) that do not have a camera or GPS? In this upcoming / current surveillance obsessed police-state world I feel this type of device would be very useful.
If anyone has any thoughts then please let me know. Heading out for a walk tomorrow with a local map and a compass to see if I can even remotely remember how to use them. Dodging the army dressed as police will be fun in the upcoming weeks/months/forever but luckily rural England at the moment, where I am, is low on their priority list….for now

Care workers are already in the meat grinder, maybe the clapping was to make amends. Yeah, that is why I was so insulted. Payrise? Back pay for thousands of hours worked at night for free? Better rights at work? Holidays not taken because we were not allowed, because short staffed? Better PPE? I can reel off loads of ranty things that those people clapping have no idea about and I am sure the doctors, nurses, other health care workers and frontline and essential/keyworkers could too.
Ever since this started I have been voicing my concerns and keep getting shut down by friends and family. Oh you still get to go to work and exercise. But this is not right folks, I kept saying. Well the police and military will see that it goes right. What the heck did you just say (I thought you were my friend?)
Do I stay quiet? Yes, I do now, but let governments and “authority figures” not forget that they better not eff with some of us (maybe they have been reading Fight Club and are a little afraid?) Problem is, they seem to have brainwashed so many, I have always been the black sheep (my dad had a right rant at me the other day for being extreme, what, me? What about what the government are telling you to do dad?!) and it looks like this has marginalised a lot of us even further. These are scary times, not because of the virus, but because of the fall out from this global event.
Boy do I feel for you. I’m totally sincere. I really do know how you feel, although that’s completely useless to you as I have no consolation or advice to offer. I’m feeling somewhat weary of the whole charade myself.
