Hello, friends, James Corbett here, corbettreport.com.

It’s April 10, 2017, aka 72 hours into the post-Syria Strikes world and the dust is beginning to settle on the crazy events of last week. I hope you’ve been following all the latest information in the comments section of The Corbett Report’s own open source investigation as The Corbett Report community has been doing yeoman’s work in assembling and collating all the data streaming forth from the newsfeeds. But in case you haven’t been following the developments this weekend let’s just go over what we know, what we don’t yet know, and what we can read in the tea leaves about what is to come.

Firstly, I won’t spend too much time on the chemical weapons incident that spurred all of this in the first place other than to direct you to a very important interview that Scott Horton just conducted with ex-CIA officer Philip Giraldi where he insists that the intelligence community and military personnel know that the intel shows that this was not an Assad attack. This is further bolstered by an interview that ex-CIA officer Ray McGovern gave to RT that Fox News subsequently tried to censor off the web. McGovern says that his military sources indicate that the Syrian government’s strike on Idlib hit a chemical manufacturing plant and it was the toxic fallout from that that killed the citizens of Khan Sheikoun.

But as to the strike itself. There have been people throwing around the idea that the US tipped the Russians and/or Syrians off to the strike before it happened as if this was some kind of conspiracy or covert collusion, but there’s nothing hidden or conspiratorial about it. Shortly after the Tomahawks were launched, Pentagon spokesman Captain Jeff Davis confirmed that “Russian forces were notified in advance of the strike using the established deconfliction line. U.S. military planners took precautions to minimize risk to Russian or Syrian personnel located at the airfield.”

The “established deconfliction line” that he’s talking about there refers to a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that was signed back in October 2015. Again reading directly from Defense.gov: “the MOU includes specific safety protocols for aircrews to follow, including maintaining professional airmanship at all times, the use of specific communication frequencies and the establishment of a communication line on the ground.” That MOU did not call for sharing specific information on what was being targeted, but obviously as per Captain Davis’ statement that was shared this time via the communication line.

Now we know that Russia, Syria, Iran and Iraq set up the so-called “RSII coalition” in September 2015 to share intelligence and establish a joint information center in their joint bid to destroy ISIS, so let’s connect the dots. We know that the Pentagon informed Russia about the strike ahead of time. We know that Russia shares information with Syria, Iran and Iraq. Now Bloomberg dutifully reports that a Pentagon official “said the Pentagon had no intelligence indicating that the Russians tipped off Syria to the looming attack,” but we don’t need any SigInt or James Bond spy shenanigans to put two and two together. They have a joint information center on the ground, for crying out loud. The Russians absolutely let the Syrians know what was coming.

This becomes important when we look at what the strikes actually accomplished…or fail to accomplish. The runways were not damaged in the attack, meaning the base was up and operational again within 24 hours. This is because, we are now told, the strike didn’t target the runways at all.

Of course, Russia says that only 23 of the 59 missiles actually hit the airbase at all, although “Pentagon officials” speaking under the customary cloak of secrecy said all but one missile hit the base.

Pro-Russian sites have, predictably, latched onto the less-than-half-the-missiles-hit-the-base story to suggest that the super psychotronic 26th century mind control weapons from hyperdimension X that the Russians have Jedi mind tricked the puny US peashooters into committing harakiri before they even reached the base.

Meanwhile pro-Trumpers who were thrown under the Trump train by the neocon-in-chief but are still white knuckle grasping on to that caboose with all their might say this is because the entire strike is 7th dimensional backgammon to Make America Great Again by scaring the North Koreans…or Chinese…or someone…by completely failing to destroy an airbase. Or something like that? But these are the same people who think that Kim Jong-Un’s missiles that have failed to hit anything are an existential threat to the US and probably justify a nuclear invasion of North Korea should their dear leader order one, so consistent thinking is evidently not the pro-Trumpers strong suit.

Whatever the case, this much cannot be denied: this strike taken as a single, isolated incident had little effect on the Syrian government’s military capabilities. But this is not a single, isolated incident.

Even if the Russians and even the Syrians colluded to allow the strike to go ahead in order to relieve some of the pressure to “do something” about this chemical weapon false flag event, there have been several very real developments so far.

The Russians have canceled their memorandum of understanding on flight safety with the US, meaning that the next time a strike is launched or an attack is planned, there will be no hotline for the US to use to tip off the Russkies to stand down.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has already vowed to implement “a system of measures to bolster and increase the effectiveness of the Syrian armed forces’ air defense systems.”

Russia has sent the Admiral Grigorovich, its most advanced Black Sea frigate, back into the Eastern Mediterranean, aka the exact area where the USS Porter and USS Ross, the US destroyers that launched the Tomahawks, are still deployed.

And to top it all off, that RSII joint command center that we talked about earlier issued a statement over the weekend “what America waged in an aggression on Syria is a crossing of red lines. From now on we will respond with force to any aggressor or any breach of red lines from whoever it is and America knows our ability to respond well.”

On the US side, we have Trump and Nikki Haley and Tillerson and the entire administration sticking by the phoney script that the incident at Khan Sheikoun was 100% without doubt an insane President Assad gassing his own people right before the peace talks that would have secured his victory (for some unexplained reason).

So it really doesn’t matter whether the Russians or even the Syrians conspired with Trump to stage this mostly-for-show attack or not, everyone is now painted into a corner. One thing is for certain: there is now virtually no chance that Assad will be allowed to stay in power in Syria. If the Syrian army is on the verge of vanquishing the very last I-CIA-SIS terrorist from their soil, or even if the world is ready to sign on the bottom line of some completed peace negotiation to bring the terrorist insurgency in Syria to an end, the precedent has been established: all Al CIA-da has to do is stage another chemical weapons attack and blame it on Assad, and the dominoes will fall one by one. Neocon puppet Trump will, as we have seen, gladly sign off on whatever lies are passed before him, and next time it might just be a full-on invasion of Syria. At that point Russia has to put up or shut up. Either that will lead to full-on military confrontation between NATO and Russia, or we will know that Putin’s “red lines” mean nothing and the whole rivalry is just for show.

I’d say it would be harder to get out of this without further military action than to thread the eye of a needle, but that would assume I see any way of avoiding it at all, which I don’t.

Everything, and I mean everything, is going to hinge on what is or is not discussed in this upcoming visit of Tillerson to Moscow on Tuesday. I will of course be keeping my eye on everything here, and once again I invite the Corbett Report community to continue cataloguing and analyzing this information in the comments section of this video at CorbettReport.com.

Hello, all. Thank you for your participation in the open source investigation over the weekend. This is now the thread for collecting all information on the Syria situation as we move forward.

  2. VoiceOfArabi says:

    Hello James,

I say USA and it allies will require one or both of these before Mr. Rex Tillerson visit.

1- Another ISIS bombing of one or two cities in Russia (you know… Egypt style)

2- Something to happen in the Ukrain which results in few tens of people dying.

Then Tillerson can really bring the entire world against Putin.

    Just my two cents.

    • Corbett says:

Thanks for your participation, VoA. Meanwhile, if you can help out with translating/sourcing the Arabic language document mentioned in this comment:

I’m sure we’d all be very appreciative.

        Hello James,

The source of this document is a facebook account that belongs to “Central Military Media” (literal translation of the arabic name by me )

The facebook page, and that particular document (in picture and in text) can be found on the link below.

I will work on a translation but it might take a little while (my translation skills suck!)

this facebook page appears to be the “voice” of the central command of the resisting countries & organization in Syria (so, that’s Russia, Syria, Iran, Iraq (militia), Hezbollah, etc.)

It is targeted at arabic speaking people, and it has wealth of information including many useful videos. Many arabic speaking people are speaking out in the comments.

Joint Operations Room of the Allies (Russia, Iran and Allied Forces): We will respond strongly to any aggression, Russia and Iran will not allow America to dominate the world

Commenting on the American aggression that targeted Shaareat airport for the Syrian armed forces last Friday, the news agency “News” that the leadership of the Joint Operations Room (Russia, Iran and the allied forces) in Syria issued the following statement:

1 – The American aggression on Syria is a dangerous transgression and a blatant attack on the sovereignty of the people and the Syrian state, which is condemned, and it proves again the mistake of American calculations and options.

        2. This aggression is a great deal of injustice and injustice against Syria, while on behalf of the whole world it has been fighting multinational terrorism for six years and paying a heavy price for the blood of its sons to triumph over those savage terrorists.

3 – We condemn any targeting of civilians, whatever they are, and what happened in Khan Sheikhan is also condemned, despite our belief that it was a mastermind of some countries and organizations, to take it as an excuse to attack Syria,

        4. Those who support and train armed terrorist groups, such as ISIS, AlNussrah Front and their accessories from the Takfiris, support the aggressor against the legitimate rights of the peoples of the region and have used the veto against the rights of the Palestinian people dozens of times. Those do not have the right to present themselves as defender of the people in Syria, Iraq and Palestine.

        5. The arrogant America did not wait for permission from anyone, and the countries belonging to the United Nations were not respected. Before the results of the investigation into the Khan Shikhun case were issued, it attacked Syria and declared shamelessly about that attack.

        6. We are not ignorant of what America is trying to achieve in northern Syria and northwestern Iraq. They must know that we are monitoring all their steps and movements and follow them closely. Their attempt to control this geographical area makes them illegal forces to occupy Syrian sovereign territory.

7 – What America has done of aggression on Syria is to bypass the red lines, from now on we will respond strongly to any aggression and any violation of the red lines by any one and America knows our ability to respond well.

        8. This act of America will not deter us from fighting and eradicating terrorism. We will continue our fight alongside the Syrian Arab Army and the Syrian and friendly armed forces. We will work with them to liberate all Syrian territory from the abject occupation.

        9. Russia and Iran will not allow America to dominate the world and impose a one-pole system by continuing direct aggression against Syria by breaking international laws and working outside the framework of the United Nations, and will stand in the face of America with all force, regardless were it reached.

        10. In response to this criminal aggression, we, as allies of Syria, will increase our support for the Syrian Arab Army and the brotherly Syrian people in various ways.

  3. Greg Bacon says:

Going back before the Syrian FF, the statements made by the USG about leaving Assad in Syria seemed a bit strange, after all the ‘Assad must go’ statements over the years.

But now it make sense, they were setting the table for the next step, that of some kind of incident that would give the war mongers the excuse to go back after Assad.

If the reports of the US moving military assets into Jordan are reliable, then it looks like Iraq 2003 all over again. The next Syrian FF blamed on Assad will be bloody and massive.

Gotta get rid of those nations that aren’t part of the Rothschild banking cartel.

  4. josh.s says:

There are a number of reports about the al Qaeda-linked rebels having chemical weapons in 2013 and now. In this interview – http://21stcenturywire.com/2017/04/09/syria-terrorist-attacks-on-civilians-in-damascus-alleged-chemical-attacks-in-idlib-live-reporting-from-tom-duggan/ with journalist Tom Duggan, he reports that the al Nusra forces have been using a chlorine type gas. If the Russian account is correct and it was a chlorine type gas rather than Sarin that was released, various other reports and criticisms have fewer conflicts between them.

I feel that folks also should form some type of base probabilities for this. The CIA led a Syria coup in 1949 and has been trying for regime change about once a decade ever since. Both al Nusra/al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria are have had US and Saudi backing. The earlier accusations of chemical attack labeled against Assad were, it seems, a false flag. And, as many have pointed out, it doesn’t make sense that Assad would suddenly go and drop chemical weapons now as there is no military reason to do that, even if he had such weapons. The pictures of White Helmets are not consistent with a Sarin attack, as critics pointed out. From the US military perspective, they are set on having a war and they have a long history of trying to get rid of Assad, so they don’t much care whether the current story is a lie. They also don’t actually care if religious extremists take over in Syria and provide excuses for future wars…that is viewed as a benefit for the endless War/Defense spending machine.

  5. leslie.b says:

The so called “red line” warning from Russia and Iran covered at 08:50 in the video seems to be fake news according to this article in the Duran – Fake news story in mainstream AND alt-media slanders Russia and Iran – http://theduran.com/exclusive-fake-news-story-in-mainstream-and-alt-media-slandering-russia-and-iran/

  6. PeaceFroggs says:

Pragmatically speaking, Assad will have to step down eventually in order to bring about peace to Syria.

Think about it, even when Abraham Lincoln decisively won re-election while the war was still waging in 1864, and even though he eventually won the American civil war, he was still assassinated. Even today, some 100+ years later, some in the south still despise the North.

Seems obvious to me that Assad will not win a decisive victory here, at least not without the help of Russia, and once ISIS or the foreign mercenaries are done with, Assad will still need to sit down at some point with the “moderate Syrian rebels” that genuinely do have legit grievance with Assad to say the least.

Therefore, there is no possible way Assad can beyond the war, he’ll have to go soon after the war. Civil war wounds don’t heal fast enough for him not risk being assassinated much like Lincoln was.

    • VoiceOfArabi says:

Hello PeaceFroggs, it has been a while 🙂 .

OK.. I don’t think you are seeing the full picture…

Assad has nothing to do with it.. Will he stay? will he go?? completely irrelevant.

It is about domination. If Assad submits to Americas wishes, he can stay and kill more of his people if he wishes.

If Assad goes, and another leader comes in who wants Syria to be independent and not part of the American Hegemony, then, the war will continue.

Remember Iran in the 1970. The Shah of Iran was Shia’a, and no Arab (sunni) country had any issues with him, and he was the police of the Arabian Gulf because he was submitting to the American rule.

Khomaini shows up, who is also Shia’a and stands against American, and then all hell breaks lose 🙂 …

      Go work it out.

      • PeaceFroggs says:

My gawd man, this isn’t complicated VoiceOfArabi. Russia is there now, Assad whether he wants to be “Free” or not has nothing to do with it, whether it’s Washington or Moscow, he’ll have to kowtow to one or the other.

I’ll say this, Washington would have loved he kowtow’d to them obviously, since this is really about Iranian influence in Syria and Hezbollah, but alas the Saudi proxies known as ISIS failed to overthrow Assad and the US Congress failed to bring any resolution to the table when Obama was President and now Russia is there, and those are the facts.

Now, it’s about saving face and bringing this to an end. Regardless if Russia stays during reconstruction, Assad will have to step down in order to bring about peace.

    • VoiceOfArabi says:

      Hello again PeaceFroggs,

I forgot to mention.. Venezuela and Maduro has exactly the same problem…

If he submits, then he will be hailed as the best leader in South America.

If he does not, then he is an evil dictator.

I really don’t understand for the life of me “why people feel the need to be independent and free??” – Someone needs to come up with a pill or potion to stop this “freedom madness” that’s killing so many innocent people.

off course i say this in jest.

    • mkey says:

I think there is a very strong anti war sentiment among the Syrian people. The “moderate rebels” would be affected by such a sentiment as much as Assad which should put pressure on a faster accord during natural negotiations. With these external factors it’s downright impossible to predict the outcome.

  7. L. says:

Something worth looking into. I had never heard much about the “White Helmets” before recently, but this is certainly shocking, and it seems they have been under investigation by an org in Sweden for quite awhile.

jared kushner is probably part to the blob and Ivanka has a deep state handler. Jamie Gorlick deputy to Clinton’s attorney general , Janet Reno. Jamie Gorelick was the one who convinced Reno to ok the Waco conflagration. My sources say Gorelick used Reno’s semi obsession with abused children to ok the final assault. of course 79 people including 25 children were mostly fried alive. Now Jamie Gorelick has a position with Ivanka. continuity in government continues.

It is hard to imagine that the National Security complex doesn’t have blackmail on Trump given his personality although not golden showers in Moscow. Even if the teetoler and non-smoker Trump hasn’t committed blackmailable actions, he does love/like his children, who isn’t vulnerable to threats against their children? On the other hand I knew he wasn’t serious at “draining the swamp” when he picked Pence as VP – the blob would be fine with Pence as president. although there does appear to be genuine infighting among the powers that be. so now we get the worst of both worlds – the neocon regime change and managed chaos with a narcissistic blowhard as President

Trump is being patsied, I don’t believe he has the knowledge of global events, other than what he is being told. If his base has been dismantled by the establishment neo cons, and corporate Democrats who have shifted hard “right”, McCain, Clinton and Graham for e.g., then it is more than logical he is being patsied he will sign on the dotted line if not sooner, later. For me, that just means that Trump’s Russian economical ties must be stronger than his “moral altruisms” which are flimsy at best, as the deep state’s warpath is deeply ingrained transcending presidential plans.

It must be noted that .

China has ceeded in one aspect, as it is being reported that a major shipment of coal has been sent back to N Korea. The front has been opened, in the same MSM breath, to position themselves against Russia as they have also sent a major deployment of fighting sea craft to NKorea, a minimal threat to the American continent, regardless of ICBM threats, a N Korean war will obviously be contained within the Asian continent.

  14. Hsaive says:

Putin Refuses to Meet With Tillerson – Russian President Vladimir Putin will not meet with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, possibly signaling the Kremlin’s dissatisfaction with a U.S. missile strike against a Syrian airbase last Thursday. On a Monday conference call, Putin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said Tillerson would not meet with Putin as former Secretary of State John Kerry had often done; and would instead meet only with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “We have not announced any such meetings and right now there is no meeting with Tillerson in the president’s diary,” Peskov told reporters. Peskov did not cite the airstrikes or any other reason for the lack of a meeting between Putin and Tillerson. Moscow has previously condemned the U.S. strikes and threatened that they might jeopardize U.S.-Russia relations. “With this step Washington has struck a significant blow to Russian-American relations, which were already in a sorry state,” Peskov said Friday. Moscow contends that the strikes were an act of aggression in violation of international law.

Don’t believe what Tillerson–he’s lying, again-is saying about Syria, he’s just setting the stage for another ‘al CIA Duh’ attack on Syria, forcing Trump to kill thousands to ‘liberate’ them from something, like life.

The next False Flag against Syria is already being filmed, al Jazeera crews on the ground, it will be White Phosphorous blamed on Assad this time.

Now we can lay to rest all that speculation about what the first Trump attack was about, he was just laying the ground work for the Big One, mostly likely a massive attack, busting up what’s left of Syria.

We’ve had so many important, informative links posted in the Open Source Investigation, and now with Aftermath: What We Know So Far. However I don’t remember seeing a link to F. William Engdahl’s report Golan Heights, Israel, Oil and Trump which was published on March 30 this year. To understand some of the motives for geo-political gamesmanship we must always ask cui bono? Usually we find that “follow the money” is apt.

William Engdahl’s article opens up the possibility of strong Israeli-connected business motive in the current provocative situation. As the US government can be seen as more and more blatant in its military efforts in-aid of Israeli objectives, the cruise missile strikes on the Al-Sha’ayrat airbase could be the opening gambit to full war in southern Syria. At the very least it would test Russian political reaction, and provide data on Syrian air defences.

Some opening point’s from Engdahl’s article:

    – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was one of the first heads of government to go to the United States to meet Donald Trump on February 16, in Trump’s new role as President

    – Virtually no mention was made by CNN or other US mainstream media of the most strategic point the two discussed. Netanyahu asked the US President to recognize the Israeli illegal occupation of Syria’s Golan Heights, something no US President has done since Israel openly declared it theirs in 1981

    – Until now the official US Government position has been that the Israeli occupation of the Golan Heights is a violation of the Fourth Geneva Convention’s prohibition on the acquisition of territory by force, and in contravention of the United Nations Security Council Resolution §242 passed in November, 1967 which mandates, “Withdrawal of Israeli armed forces from territories occupied in the recent [1967] conflict.”

The report goes on to gives details of Israel’s modus operandi in provoking wars it wants, and how a massive oil deposit in the Golan Heights has been discovered through exploratory drilling by the Israeli subsidiary of a small US oil company. (In SEC filings the company calls the the Sheikh-Ali fault drill site as being in “northern” Israel.) There are enough threads here that if you pull on them all you could destroy a decent piece of clothing.

    http://journal-neo.org/2017/03/30/golan-heights-israel-oil-and-trump/

  17. herrqlys says:

Maybe former Exxon-Mobile CEO Rex Tillerson’s appointment as Secretary of State was more about Golan Heights oil than improved relations with Russia.

    • Hsaive says:

We must keep in mind that a violent war in Syria involving Russia places Israel at enormous risk of nuclear annihilation.

      • royb says:

I don’t think so, Putin is a good friend of Netanyahu and Israel. His Jewish Chabad handler would not allow it. Read Makow’s excellent article about it.

But of course Putin is in a dilemma, wanting to keep his good relationship with Israel and at the same time defending Russia’s strategic interests in Syria. I guess he might continue being a master in this game as he has been in keeping both Iran and Israel as his allies, unless Trump is ordered to start WW3. Only their Jesuit commanders know (the Jesuits, as everyone knew 80 years ago or more, was the greatest danger to the human race).

  18. sara.h says:

I do not remember the website: the author of it stated that this was payback from Israel for Syria’s shoot-down of one Israeli plane and damage to two or three of the others, during recent attack on Syria by Israel planes. LAW ACCORDING TO ISRAEL: you must not shoot back when Israel attacks you.

Considering the take-over of Trump by the Kushner-in-law live-in, this would certainly explain the two-day turnaround from “Assad can stay” to “Assad has to go” that we experienced just recently.

Israel pulled the JooSA chain, and the mongrel attacked.

Messing with Russia, through Syria, is good business to Israel; at America’s expense, they take out Syria, move on to other Middle East countries, and Americans will pay the price in blood, taxes, and loss of reputation.

America has already experienced rape and pillage by Israel: destruction of the moral fiber of this country through total depraved media control; destruction of our financial system through Jew-controlled Federal Reserve; destruction of our manufacturing base through ‘free trade’ contracts; destruction of the American working people through exorbitant taxes.

Unless these zombies can be overcome, we are lost. Pray Trump will cast off the Jewish neo-cons who’ve controlled this country far too long, and at least make an effort to do what is right: let Israel fight its own wars. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH: STOP THE WARS.

WHITE HOUSE SOURCE: Trump Pushes Back Against Neo-Con Plan to Invade Syria –Assad is apparently backing away from a deal he made with the Pentagon four years ago to step down from power in order to prevent a U.S. military bombardment that Obama pushed for back in 2013. The air strike ordered by Trump was apparently a reminder to Assad of the deal he struck to step down once jihadists had been defeated. Troop numbers are now being massively escalated in western Iraq to reinforce this message, including the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, to back up and cover the flank for U.S. Army ground forces in case of possible attack by Assad.

Here is something interesting, not necessarily related to regime change… Background info: in this video Jack Murphy talks candidly about US covert operations in Syria.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5rUBysKQtA

At one point, he mentions Charles Lister, who is a fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington DC. He talks critically about Lister, saying he’s confused about the pro-war rhetoric coming from someone who has neither academic nor combat experience.

To follow this thread, here is a BBC interview with Lister in September 2016. Mostly what is discussed is what he considers missteps by the Obama WH in regards to peace negotiations, and other policy regarding Syria.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itfpQ1HOvZY

At around 3:00 in the video, he describes “punitive strikes” which he suggests should be done against Assad in response to “particularly flagrant abuses”. He goes on to describe, to a tee, the recent air strikes at the Al-Shayrat air base, even basically getting the time right. He mentions that his opinion is exactly in line with those at the US State Dept.

It’s odd that Lister discusses a format for peace negotiations, then almost in the next breath makes a suggestion to shoot cruise missiles at that country. It’s also odd that Raytheon, maker of the Tomahawk cruise missile used in the strike, is a top sponsor of the Middle East Institute. Is there such a thing as product placement for the MIC?

    http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/Middle_East_Institute

Some of the confusion about the strike against Al-Shayrat stems from how pointless the attack seemed in a strategic sense. However it does amount to a $90M payday for the MIC.

In light of a visit by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, which begins today, we would like to express hope for productive talks. This is important not just for the future of Russian-US interaction but also for the international environment overall.

The current situation in Russian-US relations is more complicated than it has been at any point since the end of the Cold War. The previous US administration’s actions have seriously complicated them by trying to restrain the growth of Russia’s influence in international affairs and undermine its economic development through sanctions. Although these efforts have failed, they have also demonstrated Washington’s striving for global domination complemented with deliberations about “America’s exceptionalism”, which has sinister historical associations…

…In this situation, we are surprised by Washington’s disregard for reports about the use of chemical weapons by terrorists in the Middle East. There have been numerous chemical attacks not just in Syria but also in Iraq. Chemical weapons stockpiles have been found in eastern Aleppo after its liberation from the terrorists. However, the United States has not shown any interest in this information…

…We also wonder when the West will dissociate itself from the notorious White Helmets and other pseudo-NGOs whose barefaced lies about the situation in Syria are eagerly taken up by the media. We wonder how much longer our American colleagues will rely on fake photo reports when taking decisions that can affect the lives of people in Syria….

Retired Russian Lt. General Yevgeny Buzhinsky states…
…”Yes, the U.S. gave us one and a half hours, maybe two hours of advance warning of the attack. But how?”

“There are several lines of communication between us. There is a Chief of General Staff to Chief of General Staff line, which is very fast. This was not used. Instead they used a line of communications set up by the 2015 Deconfliction Memorandum of Understanding, at the regional level, between Americans in Jordan and Russians in Syria. The message on the impending attack was sent to the U.S. command in Jordan in the middle of the night and the duty officer was in no rush to forward it to his Russian counterpart in Syria. The duty officer there sent it to Moscow, to the Ministry of Defense, which also did not rush to respond or to pass the message to the Syrians. Net result: the two hours was barely enough for the Russians to take necessary precautionary measures. The Russian Ministry was furious.”

(This explains why the first Russian reaction to the whole affair was to suspend the Deconfliction Memorandum.)

White House spokesman Sean Spicer triggered an uproar on Tuesday by saying Adolf Hitler did not use chemical weapons. He apologized after his comments drew immediate criticism on social media and elsewhere for overlooking the fact that millions of Jews were killed in Nazi gas chambers.

The Nazis murdered six million Jews during World War Two. Many Jews as well as others were killed in gas chambers in European concentration camps.

It was not the first time the White House has had to answer questions about the Holocaust. Critics in January noted the administration’s statement marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which omitted any mention of Jewish victims.

Option 3 is most likely since the operation had advance planning and foreknowledge. Possibility that no gas was released from bombing is very likely. (Remember nobody died at Sandy Hook) Open a few bottles of bleach from the hospital and you have a fake CHLORINE GAS attack. This is most likely story since crisis actors were already in place with Hollywood cameras. Bottles of bleach are cheaper than fake blood. Remember that Trump had already rehearsed a fake crying spell as if babies had been dumped out of their incubators…a complete lie from Gulf War I. Finally, It’s unlikely that Crisis actors would participate in a “live” chemical event, especially when it was initially advertised to be SARIN gas.

Globalism is a weasel word euphemism for the global American Empire.

And American wealth and prosperity are based upon maintaining America’s global hegemony and the ability of its corporations to exploit workers, markets and resources around the world–as well as propping up the parasite system that is American Dollar Imperialism (i.e. US Petro Dollar as the world’s only reserve currency).

    http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-04-14/chaos-and-hegemony-how-us-dollar-imperialism-dominates-world#

The reason why America resorts to wars of aggression and military intervention around the world (regardless of who the hell is in power) is that the “military card” increasingly is the only card that the Americans can play in order to maintain their unipolar world order.

In fact, America’s jealously guarded Dollar reserve status is *not* really backed by any sound economic fundamentals but rather ultimately by the American war machine.

When Trump runs his mouth about America First, what does that really mean?

It means putting the American Empire First—the American Empire that is fundamental to US Dollar Imperialism and US corporate plunder of the globe.

And the meme that Trump was “co-opted by the Deep State” is merely another pathetic alibi that Trump supporters are pushing.

Trump represents one faction of the American Deep State vs. another faction of the Deep State (as represented by Clinton/Obama).

The political “differences” between these factions are only tactical differences over how best to maintain American unipolar dominance.

Trump was *never* a political outsider, except in the fantasy world of his supporters.

Trump was and has always been yet another Controlled Opposition figure—just like Barack Obama before him.

Trump supporters simply cannot bear to face that reality, nor can they stand to admit that they are political doppelgangers of the Obama Kool-Aid Drinkers and the liberal left that they despise.

Whether it be the Alt Right or the Liberal Left, Obama or Clinton or Trump or Bush—all factions of the American Empire are cut from the same political cloth.

A plague on all their houses.

Korea’s history has more to do with JAPAN than CHINA. So why is Trump not putting pressure on Japan as well as China to rein in the Nukes? — Japanese occupied Korea from 1910–1945, then occupied by the USSR from 1945-1950. The Korean war split Korea into North and South at the 38th Parallel. Japan tried to suppress Korean traditions and culture and ran the economy primarily for its own benefit. Korean resistance groups known as Dongnipgun (Liberation Army) operated along the Sino-Korean border, fighting guerrilla warfare against Japanese forces. Some of them took part in allied action in China and parts of South East Asia. One of the guerrilla leaders was the communist Kim Il-sung, who later became the leader of North Korea. Now, Kim Il-sung’s son, Kim Jung-un is supreme leader.

5 Major Stories That Blow The “Official” Narrative On Syria Out Of The Water. As Americans, even those who previously despised him, rally behind President Donald Trump’s bombardment of Syria, they are failing to realize the atrocious lies, half truths and controversy surrounding the United States’ history with Syria as well as the creation and support of Islamist extremism. While there has yet to be definitive proof of the recent alleged sarin gas attack in Syria, if one looks at the known disinformation as well as what top experts in the field are saying, it can be deduced that the US government is, at the very minimum, not being entirely truthful with its people. If one goes even further down the rabbit hole, believing the government’s official position on Syria becomes absolutely asinine.

Unrelated, but what really grinds my gears is the way Hollywood depicts these “hacker” scenarios: animated code, floor to ceiling massive flatscreens plastered everywhere… who the hell hacks/trolls/whatever like that?

You get a person in a room sitting in front of his PC working on the code, probably swearing a lot, talking to and possibly even issuing threats at his screen. That’s it.

About 15 or 20 years ago, I was commenting on an AOL news article. (I didn’t know better) Probably 20 or so comments would show up every minute. I remember one lady who kept at some insane argument. During the many series of comments pouring in, I finally had a back-n-forth with her asking her if she worked for AOL or someone. She finally admitted it to me. I watched as she later would try to flame or incite people in the comment sections.

Some people like to troll, if you can align that with your propaganda objective you’re golden.

This is really easy to do on the internet, further compounded by the fact many people completely lose their critical thinking (little that they had to begin with) when they get online. This is probably enabled by almost zero possibility of physical retribution over ones’ actions online.

    http://johnhelmer.net/secstate-tillersons-chief-of-staff-margaret-peterlin-has-been-managing-us-cyber-warfare-operations-against-russia-for-years/

The article tracks Margaret Peterlin, covertly known for specializing in cyber warfare weapons, including the latest in US computer programs to mimic foreign hackers and convince US targets they have been hacked by Russians. Her history and associates are very interesting.

    One associate is Matthew Stacks.
    EXCERPT
At Lambda Prime, Stack claims credit for two cyber warfare projects in 2013 – the practical, “weaponized virtual machines with heterogeneous nodes for unpredictable and agile offensive fronts” and the theoretical, “Clausewitz, a modern theory of grand strategy for cyber military forces, and the role of guerilla cyber tactics”. The following year Stack hosted his first “Annual Hackathon” — “Hackathoners flew in from all across the United States to inhabit a 27 acre, early 1900s mansion that serves as the Lambda Prime corporate headquarters”.

(Comment – My guess is that this is the address where the “Hackathon” took place. 777 West St, Pittsfield, MA 01201 )
