. . . But perhaps you missed that story when it ran in the controlled corporate media last month. Maybe that’s because The New York Times went with the headline “Tech Giants Shift Profits to Avoid Taxes. There’s a Plan to Stop Them.”
And perhaps you missed it when the global government put out its press release announcing its intentions in October. Maybe that’s because the globalists are hiding behind the moniker “The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development” (OECD) and titled their document announcing the scheme “Secretariat Proposal for a ‘Unified Approach’ under Pillar One.”
In fact, you’d be forgiven for missing this story, given the way it’s been non-announced and un-reported. “Secretariat Proposal for a ‘Unified Approach’ under Pillar One”? What does that hodgepodge of bureaucratic gobbledygook even mean?
If you’re like 99.9% of the public, those words, presented without context, mean absolutely nothing to you. In fact, you probably dozed off reading just the title. (And if you think that’s bad, just wait until you get to the action-packed, informative first sentence of the document’s introduction: “The tax challenges of the digitalisation of the economy were identified as one of the main areas of focus of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Action Plan, leading to the 2015 BEPS Action 1 Report.”)
Yes, the most important and horrific pieces of legislation are presented to the public under false cover, either by naming them the opposite of what they are—USA FREEDOM Act, anyone?—or by giving them an incomprehensible, thoroughly uninteresting title and spelling them out in impenetrable legalese.
So what’s the real story here, and what does it mean for the future of free humanity? Let’s roll up our sleeves and find out, shall we?

I remember when the Dolly Parton – “9 To 5” song and movie came out.
I wore the large horn-rimmed glasses of the era, if I did not have my contacts in.
A few years later, by the mid 1980’s I was doing temporary Women’s Fashion Sales in large ballrooms / convention centers at a different city every week. Hundreds of women would pour into the temporary sale when we opened the doors. They would go panicking, scrambling, to get the best deals on a dress or blouse off the racks. (Women wore dresses to the workplace in those days.)
Sometimes for the shopping music, I would play “9 to 5”.
But the favorite, often repeated song, which I played was Donna Summer’s “She Works Hard For The Money”.

I worked some deals with a TV station, and got a camera crew for cheap. I also got the use of their TV editing room and staff.
I had the ladies who worked for me model dresses for the camera. It was pretty sexy as I coached them through their moves.
The camera guys took raw footage of the crowds clamoring / fighting for dresses off the rack with an expression of elation upon grabbing a good find. I had to direct the camera guys on what to shoot.
Then I got another employee who had an MC type voice to read the script with the ending, emphatic phrase “Don’t you miss this sale!!”.
I used parts of the Donna Summer’s “She Works Hard For The Money” song as background of the TV ad.
We ended up with a pretty effective, sharp looking ad.
I would send the tape “dub” ahead to the TV station(s) in the next cities on our itinerary, who would then overlay it with script of the sale location.
Not once did I have a problem with “copyright infringement” for using the Donna Summer song. No one ever said anything, ever.

Of course there was no internet in those days.
Every week, we would be in a different city for a three day sale, and would drive the truck and crew to the next locale, sometimes many hundreds of miles away.
All the booking, lining up locations and temporary help, motels/hotels, advertising (flyers, newspapers, TV, radio), shipping of more inventory, etc. was made by phone and mail from the motel room where I was staying. A lot of planning and coordinating.
Looking back at this 80’s era, it demonstrates that life can go on without an online structure.

Yes, the whole industry was in on making corporate life seem very sexy to women who fell for it so they could have a pretext of buying and wearing sexy corporate clothes and stiletto heels to look like Jane Fonda and Charlie’s Angels.

And it still works today though now some men and women are starting to vie for the privilage of staying home to raise the children.

In my view, this doesn’t change much. The existing system will continuously be moulded to fit their needs. If we’re ever to break free from it, it’s going to get dropped in its totality anyhow.

Once upon a time in the usa, there used to be a group (forgot its name if it had one) where they were to study the 50 states and decide which would be the best candidate for success.
Liberty minded people were supposed to move there. When they reached critical mass they would naturally cause themselves to get elected. Then they could rid that state of the nefarious laws against the people, bring it in alignment with the intentions of the Constitution. Make it into the shining beacon of liberty and opportunity within the usa.
That of course would make such a place a beehive of activity with people free from socialist indoctrination and the various corpro-govt anti competition oppressions.
Not sure what ever happened to that organization but likely failed due to people having to move to another place when things were not yet totally unbearable [yet] where they were.
It seems as long as people have their TV and beer (or whatever) things have to get PAST the point of almost hell and too late, before enough of them will want to wake up.

Note that NH has 400 Representatives to it’s legislature for a population of about 1.5 million and they were paid $100 a year (last I checked). Voluntary public servants is what makes government work for the people.
NH was the last State to bite on the Federal Bribe money and Pass a Primary Seat Belt Law and it is still the only State where the Law only applies to those under the age of 18.
Indeed, when the money supply is controlled by world bankers and the corporations that have grown up around them, good government is going to be very hard to find.
As long as these private Bankers control the money supply, they have the power to hire goons that will do anything for them. The unlimited money they create in secrete allows them to corrupt (and/or Black Mail) nearly anyone and every one.
The adaptation of a world wide Transparent and Decentralized means of exchange are about the only way these Bankers can be beat(think Bitcoin or something even better). Cardando is on the cusp of providing something better, however the world Bankers don’t want to loose their power and they will use lies, deceit, and every other underhanded means to stay in control of the money supply.

It’s important not to lose all your energy in combat or resistance which is better spent building an alternative.
But it’s important to note that room for manoeuvre in escaping the totally connected, total surveillance, transhuman hive is disappearing at breathtaking speed. “Dropped in its totality” is becoming less and less possible and Mr. Corbett does indeed go to great pains to explain just how that is happening.

If 10% of world’s people started using something like self issued credit by tomorrow, these globalist planners would take 20 years to recuparate and restore the grip on society at large. Most of societal woes could be solved in half an hour, during an open conversation. This is, of course, impossible because the mind is very slow to react to change, but during dire times people tend to open up their minds and entertain unorthodox thoughts, albeit very briefly.
I don’t particularly understand what’s the difference between being shaken down by thugs from the capital and being shaken down by thugs from some of these globalist institutions. If there’s potential of having armed murderers come knocking on your door because you don’t abide some arbitrary rules, does it make any difference who sent those killers? Government, global government, the mob? It’s all exactly the same. Having the global tax grid means it’s just a bit more difficult to escape to a different jurisdiction, but how much of us even choose that route? People do move due to economic reasons, but not because they would like to pay less or no taxes somewhere else or at least not nearly as often. If anything, people would be willing to pay even higher tax rates just as long as their baseline goes up.

I would say it will be more than “just a bit more difficult” but your point about ‘who cares’, let alone who actually tries to live “freely” is well taken…
I suppose most of us are acutely domesticized and have no taste for real freedom (whatever that means exactly)…

What makes you say that? I believe you, but can you demonstrate that (for slow minds like mine)?
I posit that 10% non-compliant population in any given area would cause the system to grind to a halt. How large part of any given population makes up a police force? Maybe 2%? Army, 1%? (outside of US and NK, of course) Threat of violence becomes inefficient at these rates, if anything the violator would stand a substantial chance for an explosive conflict, since many of those 10% would have family and friends and maybe people who look up to them outside of those 10%.
When I say non-compliant I’m infering things like not paying all sorts of government extorsion money, working at least partly outside of the mainstream system, using non-official means of payment. At that point, pretty much anything would do as a currency as long as the state can’t feed into the stream.
If every tenth citizen would forgo governments right to their pocket and opted for legal means to resist, like taking their day in the court, how long would it take for the courts to process all of the appeals? Or failing to attend court, do you think there would be two armed officers knocking on their door ready to bring them in by force? How about evicting 10% of the population? Even with a pacifistic populace this would be neigh impossible.
This system is built against the laws of nature, it abhors competition, it’s ineffiecent and as such it absolutely craves compliance.
To further augment this effect, I’d wager those 10% would be skimmed from the top of the pile of those who are most productive and can contribute the most in near future.

MUCH easier said than done. Having accomplished significant [legal] resistance against corp-govt project… It became rudely apparent that getting any more than a handful of the people to lift a little finger even a slight amount, let alone their middle finger, when directly and significantly impacted by such a project, makes one very disillusioned and skeptical of such a 10-percent resistance movement ever happening.
…at least until the suffering is ridiculously bad; to the point much more than 10-percent of the folks are starving. And then, how much harder it will be.
Who would be happy to pay more taxes if baseline went up? The more you make the more disgusted you get as you see it wasted into corruption and worse. Not to mention, knowing that you are feeding the beast that always wants more, the more it gets.

I’m just saying that the general idea that a vast majority would be required for change, in my view, does not hold water.
