The Climate Hoax Tipping Point

06/04/201735 Comments

If the blathering blowhards of the dinosaur media and the Chicken Littles of the Twitterverse are to be believed, the world has officially come to an end. And in a way, maybe it has. Not “the” world, of course, but their world.

That’s because, as you will no doubt have heard by now, Trump just announced that the US will be pulling out of the Paris Climate Accord.

“I am fighting every day for the great people of this country,” Trump boasted in his Rose Garden press conference announcing his decision on the agreement, adopted in Paris in December 2015. “Therefore, in order to fulfill my solemn duty to protect America and its citizens, the United States will withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord…”

If only he had stopped there. However, after a brief applause break greeting the announcement of the withdrawal, the Dissembler-in-Chief completed the sentence thusly: “…but begin negotiations to reenter either the Paris Accord or a really entirely new transaction on terms that are fair to the United States, its businesses, its workers, its people, its taxpayers.” And then, just to make sure he added enough political hogwash to confuse everyone, he pressed on: “So we’re getting out. But we will start to negotiate, and we will see if we can make a deal that’s fair. And if we can, that’s great. And if we can’t, that’s fine.

Learn more about what this “withdrawal” really means and whether we’re actually out of the woods in this week’s International Forecaster editorial. Also, stick around for James’ fun, subscriber-only interview with Joe Plummer of TragedyAndHope.info about his amazing secret talent.

There exists so much controversy over this issue that I can’t help suspecting that it is something within ourselves that’s becoming warmer – something denied. Heat has an anagram we love to project onto others.

We call an individual prone to angry outbursts ‘hot-headed’. We ask such persons to ‘cool it’. We have ‘heated’ arguments. There are things that make our ‘blood boil’. Anger ‘smoulders’ and ‘burns’. Some have a ‘short fuse’ then ‘explode’; others get ‘hot under the collar’ or exhibit ‘fire in their eyes’ etc.

Global Warming may simply be a metaphor for rising global anger.

Other scientists proclaim the opposite, but Trump is a narcissistic lacquey of the globkaki (global kakistocracy) and just like “We Are Not Change” Obama behaved, will Trump the globalist lackey behave servilely and obsequiously towards his masters and if not, Trump will have his own kind of “I did not have sexual relations with that woman” moment just like Bill C. Presidents are pre-selected by the globkaki and that is sad but true, that’s why I don’t vote and nobody has the right to rule over and decide for others.

      Aesthetics and higher wavelengths

I tend to enjoy these “subscriber only videos”. Not only are they personable and real, but often they touch upon the creative nature of an individual.

To me, this creative nature is a higher wavelength, perhaps closer to the non-physical aspect of an individual’s spirituality and essence. When this creative nature is manifested in the physical universe, the beauty and aesthetic value is always something to behold.

And there are so many ways this creative nature manifests… art, music, cooking, gardening, the raising of children, writing, even business.
It is like watching a puppy play and getting teary eyed at the beauty of it all.
Or when we were young children rising early in the morning and silently observing the grass, trees, and birds as the day starts. And they were wondrous and beautiful.

    https://www.curbed.com/2017/6/1/15726376/paris-accord-climate-change-mayors-trump

American mayors are taking matters into their own hands. Could this be due to pressure from corporate interests? Or ‘group think’, and naivety of the fact this is not a settled science?

“187 mayors adopt Paris climate accord after U.S. pulls out”

“The group of mayors, who represent more than 52 million Americans and some of the largest U.S. cities, outlined a plan to align with the other 194 nations that adopted the accord:

‘We will continue to lead. We are increasing investments in renewable energy and energy efficiency. We will buy and create more demand for electric cars and trucks. We will increase our efforts to cut greenhouse gas emissions, create a clean energy economy, and stand for environmental justice. And if the President wants to break the promises made to our allies enshrined in the historic Paris Agreement, we’ll build and strengthen relationships around the world to protect the planet from devastating climate risks.'”

  8. scpat says:

There were a lot of good comments on the YCC video. An amusing comment from the comments section of the video that points out the flaws in faulty climate change arguments that we probably all see and hear too often:

“If I argue science, I will point out how my hypothesis makes predictions and show how it predicts. Example: I claim I can predict the movement of massive bodies (dynamics) I state my hypothesis: F = m*a I show how to measure the mass of the ball, length and time, and force (with say, with a spring) I show how I the massive bodies move under a given force move at a given acceleration, as my hypothesis predicts. You can then verify the hypothesis yourself by experiment. That’s not the argument being made for climate scientist. They say, for example: Consensus! (argumentum ad populum) We’re experts! (appeal to authority) If we don’t do something now, there will be disaster! (Emotional appeal) Do it even if we’re wrong, just in case we’re right (pascal’s wager) If you disagree with us, you’re a science denier (ad hom) Correlation proves causation! (post hoc, ergo proctor hoc)”

  9. herrqlys says:

I don’t have any qualms about efforts to curb human pollution, as a lot of the polluting occurs right where we live. However I DO object to the distortion of scientific data, and then passing it off as the consensus of “scientists”. In this case, distortion is fraud. And the scientific method is not conducted by consensus.

For my own part, I was really dismayed by the number of hedge fund executives in attendance at the IPCC Paris summit. If it’s of interest to Wall Street then you best be cynical.

On the other hand, I could be generous and say these fund managers were perhaps looking for insider global weather information to plan investment strategies. Maybe for upscale resort properties in the best climate locations of the future. Nah, I won’t be generous.

You answer the question, James, with articles like this. You and Pointman and other writers/bloggers/readers do it every day, week, month; sharing, feeding on, and exchanging knowledge with others. This growth is exponential, continuous. It’s why Nelson R. has stated “. . . we should never have given the public access to the Internet. Yeah, buddy.

I think the match that lit the climate fuse was when the hacker(s) released the Warmunistas’ files to independent scientists worldwide at the Copenhagen Climate Conference.
Independent scientists promptly took the Chicken Little’s to the woodshed and broke their hockey stick over their heads.

As a reader, I responded with a couple of reader comments the
day following the Copenhagen revelations, both of which were censored at MSM outlets the NY Times and London Guardian. Other publications ran them. I was just one of thousands. Collectively, like sharp jabs in a boxing match, they start to take their toll. Will leave the shortest in the interest of brevity:

I know I keep repeating myself when I speak of Bretton Woods and Nixon Shock of 1971 (stopped convertibility of US$ into Gold), but I believe this is really really important, and how it relates to global warming, carbon taxes and the Paris agreement.

Bretton Woods and Nixon Shock of 1971 made the US dollar a petrol dollar, and for a long time was considered the world sole reserve currency. In other words US hegemony, or US Empire.

So if you’re still reading this, you’re probably saying: yeah. and. so what?
Well, I believe that global warming(even if its a hoax), Oil(carbon), the US dollar, and the Paris Agreement are all related to one another.

    ——————-

Here, let me explain “my belief”. Think incremental steps…

1- WW2 (Industrialization) dependency on Oil world Wide, creation of major Oil corporations like British Petroleum, Royal Dutch Shell, Exxon etc..)

2- End of WW2 (peace treaty + Bretton Woods, these two go hand in hand)

3- During Bretton Woods, most countries accept the US dollar as the sole World Reserve Currency, except our ally at the time the Soviet Union does not accept, because it represents an unfair advantage for the US and Wall Street. This marks the beginning of the Cold War.

4- Korean and Vietnam Wars are cold wars by proxy. In other words, they represent (US capitalism vs Soviet communism)

…think Kennedy and Oswald (a communist spy, yeah right)

5- After JFK is taken care of, Nixon decides to stop convertibility of US$ into Gold (creating the US Petrol dollar and an alliance with Saudi Arabia. This in turn allows the US to out-print the Soviet Union, and as a result inflation skyrockets for the US and other floating Western currencies, however the Soviet Union does finally collapses (1989-1991).

…think CIA creation Al Qeada to defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan.

6- End of cold war, Capitalism won vs Communism, however their is now a threat of global warming…get it, cold war/hot war?

7- Because the US printed itself into unimaginable debt, they decide to adventure into wars for the absolute control of oil and OPEC in order to control the pricing of a barrel of Oil, being able to prop up the US petrol Dollar whenever they needed. They do this by first pinning the Iraqi’s vs the Iranians during the 1980″s, and then again during the Iraq wars of 1991 and again in 2003, destabilizing Iran and Venezuela etc…you get the picture.

    ——————-

During this time-line, from 1944-2017, countries like France and the reunified Germany, create the EU and EURO dollar, becoming basically the worlds first US dollar and UK pound alternative since 1944. Soon afterwards the EURO becomes part of SDR’s along with the Japanese Yen, recently adding the Chinese Yuan. All these moves further diminishing the US dollar holdings worldwide, constantly chipping away at its dollar hegemony, and compounding US debt even more.

…2008 great recession and banker bailouts???

The world thus decided to agree upon “climate change” as a tool in which to bring about a sort of control demolition of the US petrol dollar hegemony without collapsing the markets world wide.

    ——————-

So how does carbon tax work?

The Paris agreement is a non binding agreement, meaning each country decides how they will collect and manage carbon taxes from corporations and citizens, and how they will redistribute those carbon credits among their citizens and corporations. (redistribution of wealth)

This is why I believe most Oil companies support the Paris agreement, because if they reinvest in certain green energies they will probably at least break-even or maybe turn a profit. All the while, the world moves away from Oil and the US petrol dollar, and also towards a greener cleaner environment, (think air pollution in China and electric cars), thereby avoiding global warming and hot wars.

    That’s my elaborated 2 cents!

  15. scpat says:

    http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/store/10.1002/2015EA000154/asset/ess278.pdf;jsessionid=37A6F66412931E80739D23EBC3920659.f01t01?v=1&t=j3m1illo&s=1959cf2463a63df91cf0f392a58daf8683e0fa38

Conclusion #3 in the “Estimating climate sensitivity using two-zone energy balance models” study says it all: “In particular, any underestimation of the value of the tropical radiative response coefficient by comparison with observations, such as has been indicated by recent studies to exist in current GCMs, can cause the GCMs to give a SUBSTANTIAL OVERESTIMATION of the effective climate sensitivity” [emphasis added].

And here we have the IPCC using the zero-dimensional model (more simplistic and blanket model), and this study is stating that even with the more complex model (two-zone model), the underestimation of one input (the tropical aspect of climate), can cause overestimation of climate sensitivity. So even by taking more factors into account by using the complex model, slight differences can cause a huge amount of uncertainty. And this is a settled science, right?

    • mkey says:

      Logic = denial

      • scpat says:

Indeed. One of the most common rebuttals I’ve seen to any logical arguments on the infeasibility of getting some exact measurement of human-caused global warming, is the “even if we’re wrong, let’s support the climate change movement just in case we’re right (pascal’s wager logical fallacy). The, “there’s nothing wrong with trying to protect the planet” argument.

So much of this climate change hype seems to be coming from a lack of critical thinking ability. I would venture to guess that the majority of people fighting for political action on climate change don’t know squat about any of the science or how the IPCC makes their determinations. It’s just all about “let’s save the planet no matter what”. This is almost a ‘war on climate change’ just like people get fired up when “their” country is at war against another country. “We must defend our country and people no matter what!” They don’t investigate anything and just have this primal instinct of “it’s us against them.”

What can be done about this, if anything? Or are the PTSB just playing their expert knowledge of sociology against us?

        • herrqlys says:

We’re being gamed. And we’ve been gamed for a long time. Flaws in our psyche are exploited. Furthermore the methods used against us are well entrenched and institutionalized. However we still possess the powerful positive tools of what makes us human, so all is not lost. Given the large head start against us, it may just take some time for the awakening to show useful results.

          • PeaceFroggs says:

Let’s say there is no such thing as man made global warming, what if “climate change” is just a ruse in order to prevent WW3?

Think about it, the US petrol dollar hegemony that the US enjoyed since the end of WW2 is coming to an end, and it appears as though it is being replaced by an International Order, or basket of currencies (SDR’s)

…and since the US dollar became a petrol dollar in 1971, the other countries of the world decided to adopt “climate change” as a way to redistribute the wealth in order to help smooth the transition from the US New World Order towards an New International World Order.

            • herrqlys says:

If it were truly an anti-US dollar hegemony movement, the US would also recognize that, and has the resources to fight against it with tooth and nail. Iraq and Libya come to mind. Having the resources, however, doesn’t mean they necessarily do it well.

My view is that the Climate Change movement, for which the IPCC was created to lead the charge, received a lot of international support because the underlying propaganda and back room dealing concerned the carbon tax rationale. This occurred to me the moment I realized just how many Wall Street hedge fund managers there were at the IPCC’s summit in Paris.

Nations drowning in debt were offered a new revenue tax that could be fairly easily sold to their populations under the motherhood-and-apple-pie of saving the planet. The world banking cartel needed to help their clients 🙂

              • PeaceFroggs says:

Well, I wouldn’t call it “anti-US dollar hegemony movement” as it is more a transition to something more inclusive.

Some within the US have recognize it for what it is and are for it. Others however, like the Trump’s and the Alex Jones’s, are trying to prevent it.

The US may have resources, but it cannot win against the rest of the world. Every nation on earth except Nicaragua, Syria and the US are for the Paris agreement or the (New International Order)

The military industrial complex may be able to put their guys in every once in a while, like Trump, and try to slow it down, but its futile. For example, they couldn’t even hold Iraq, it’s fell under the influence of Iran, and Libya is a mess. Furthermore, they’d have to war against powers like Germany, France and even the UK eventually.

The New International Order is a sort of Bretton Woods 2.0.
