Meet Xi Jinping, President For Life
As you might have heard by now, Chinese President Xi Jinping has just appointed himself God Emperor For Life. Or, in Chinese Communist Party-ese: “The term of office of the State Council is the same as that of the National People’s Congress.”
For those keeping track at home, that’s the clause in the Chinese constitution that used to read: “The term of office of the President and Vice-President of the People’s Republic of China is the same as that of the National People’s Congress, and they shall serve no more than two consecutive terms.” But the rubber-stamp congress just passed a constitutional amendment dropping that term limit, so, unlike his predecessors, Xi Jinping will be able to continue on as President after his second five-year term expires in 2023.
Or, in other words: Meet Xi Jinping, President For Life!
Now, no one can say this was entirely unexpected. In fact, I raised the specter of Xi staying on after his second term in my editorial about last year’s National Congress. But the fact that it happened so quickly, and with so little preparation of the public, seems to have caught everyone off guard.
So what does this move really mean? As you might have expected, the answer is “a lot,” but not at all in the way you think. Allow me to explain.

“Zbigniew Brzezinski brought China into the economic mainstream in 1978 and wrote that communism was a natural stepping-stone to achieve what he termed the “Technetronic Eraâ€, which was basically Technocracy. China is, in fact, a Technocracy and if the world wants to contain China’s ambitions, they had better wake up to this fact. ⃠TN Editor ”
“More typical perhaps was the late Qian Xuesen é’±å¦æ£®, an MIT-educated rocket scientist, who returned to his native China to head the Chinese rocketry program. An avid supporter of technocracy, Qian even said that he believed governments should be run essentially like an engineering department. “”

China is simultaneously fascinating and scary.
James, in your article “From “Xi Thought†to “Superpowerâ€: What You Need to Know About China’s National Congress” the topic of Hong Kong was mentioned. How are the people in Hong Kong and even Taiwan responding to Xi essentially becoming an emperor of China? I don’t see news coverage of this any where.
Hong Kong received a harsh form of “re-education” from the mainland beginning approximately two years ago. The response was peaceful pro-democracy assemblies of concerned citizens and those working at the lower government levels showing support for representative government were targeted for silencing. Then came the “umbrella protests” (umbrellas to protect against sprayed tear gas and possibly water cannons or other sprays). The response was swift and draconian with hundreds to thousands of Hong Kong residents ‘disappeared’ and subsequently found to be held in indefinite detention. No doubt James knows about this in far more detail.
Below is a link (with spaces) to a very good short article on the technocracy process in Russia. The author gives a nod to Mr. Wood’s research and ties in the Trilateral Commission to what is happening presently. Also, embedded in the piece is a fascinating old BBC documentary that shows what happened in previous technocracy iterations. Stalin grew paranoid and executed his top technocrat engineers. The technology was not advanced enough to proceed but the mindset was clearly there. It’s coming back again, Skolkovo epitomizes this well.

The west can admonish these brutal government tactics all they want but the fact is that they are just as guilty when it comes to allowing public demonstrations today. Freedom of speech, peaceful assembly, yeah really!
Not indefinite detention in the west, particularly on a massive scale – not yet. Though you seem to be missing the point that ALL forms of tyranny everywhere should be called out and it’s very frustrating, for instance, activists in the west didn’t organize boycotts to spotlight human rights violations in the wake of the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. That would have been a peaceful way to exert pressure on China’s government and a teaching moment for activists everywhere.
The past two years many of China’s human rights lawyers have been imprisoned and tortured, yet hardly a peep from the MSM and virtually nothing in “alt”. Everyone is too mesmerized by their smart phones, other high tech gadgets, and other forms of entertainment. As a consequence, most people have very short attention spans in a landscape of apathy.
I know I should probably be worried about these developments, but the drama queens in power are so unbelievably hilarious that it’s hard for me to do so. No different from anywhere else really, but it’s always funnier when you see how stupid is done in a different culture. JimBob; from an equally stupid government in fluorida.
I am certainly not a workaholic but as time seems to be speeding up, I can get something else accomplished when I watch a video. So for me, watching a video is preferable.
I don’t know if I am supposed to write my suggestions here or on the Themtube comment section so I hope that you will see it here.
My suggestions for podcasts to become into videos are:

Is Kissinger getting shorter??? Looks like the Hui and their cohorts will be extending their fingers for some time to come…. lol, There is a Giant Sports arena in Nassau Bahamas given to them and constructed by the Chinese… all apparently for free.. no strings attached..The Bahamians Have no sports teams worth mentioning… Are the Chinese buying up the islands closest to the Continental US..?? .
Gorgeous day with a beautiful backdrop there in Japan.
I like this. Clever phrase…
Game of Thrones: China Edition
And I was astounded at the examples Corbett gives following “What is he going to do with that power?â€
In the U.S., one can’t socially say the ‘N’ word unless you are from the hood. But in China, you can’t even use the letter.
I’m a little confused. Why did he ban the letter N? Just because he could? Statists truly are delusional. JimBob from fluorida who says the other letters of the alphabet are obviously just as guilty by association as the letter N so let’s ban the whole alphabet! Statist thinking at it’s finest if you asked me; which no one ever does twice.
I think it was because it stood for something, some kind of meme…kinda like the”N” word stand FOR SOMETHING in the US or “SJW” or “KKK” means more then just random letters.
What it stood for I am not sure.
Well it couldn’t be for anything as stupid as SJW or KKK, or else he wouldn’t have banned it. Now I like the letter N. If some crazy from around the globe doesn’t like it, I’m going to love it. NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN! Awwww, I feel the power already! Really, is it just me, or is the whole idea of banning a letter sound a tad insane? It’s as if statists are just trying to outdo each other in seeing what kind of crazy crap they can get people to submit to. I really love ending sentences with prepositions. Rules must be broken! JimBob from fluorida who is convinced that there is no end to the hilariously lunatic shenanigans of statists.
It is a real blessing that Humans are not immortal.
khatroam says: It is a real blessing that Humans are not immortal.
Hi All,
What reports do you think should be made into videos?
I would like to see one on Smart Cities/City States. The CAFOs for humans to engineer a dumber and stronger human worker. Smart in being able to learn quick stupid stuff. But dumb in putting the pieces together to get the big picture.
For those who may not know what CAFOs are. It means: concentrated/confined animal feeding operations
A quick comment on the loneliness issue.
I’d rather say cults feed more and easier than totalitarians on lonely people.
Are you familiar with the Hikikomori phenomenon?
In medicine loneliness is also getting more attention. Along with: ‘Sitting is the new smoking’ some doctors argue the evidence that loneliness is the biggest predictor (bigger than anything else, from blood-pressure, smoking to overweight) for a shortened lifespan for adults (probably suicide risk but also elderly people die faster when alone and we all have to remember the rhesus monkey experiments considering ‘love’).
And I am happy to see that you got invited to a wearechange interview again.
I see, someone has made several recommendations. I may be skimming through your newsletters and make some too.
I hadn’t heard of the sitting slogan, but it rings true. People don’t move much when they’re depressed (like FB users). And those who choose to be irrational can’t stand the idea of being alone with their thoughts. I don’t hang around those people much. JimBob
Hey wing, no, it is a real slogan.
My younger brother had it even discussed in (public) school (one article only though). I typed it in censortube and a couple of videos pop up, tedx and stuff. E.g. the 2 minute video What Sitting Does to the Body
It’s a lot about workplace sitting.
That’s probably true what you say about fb and depression^^. Though I see one of the biggest issues with fb, twitter, whatsapp, Porn etc. is disconnection (from everything, from people to nature to yourself).
Interesting thought you are giving me there about irrationals.
Cheers Mielia
wow. They never had those classes in my school! Of course, we had clay tablets for notebooks. I can’t claim a solid footing in rational thinking, but I do try. I also finally got around to reading Atlas Shrugged a while ago. I immediately read Anthem and Fountainhead right after finishing them. I won’t say I agree with her completely, but she didn’t give me that much to disagree with. I haven’t read her books explaining selfishness yet, but I do disagree with the understanding I DO have of it from her hero, Roark. But only slightly. There may have been some side-effects. 🙂
Okay, job is of course to single out and limit oneself to different articles xD. So, I don’t think it’s gonna be bad, if I repeat some by Dacajeweiah.
I go by the headlines and what my mind tells me I remember about the articles and if they are suitable for a video, starting from the newest, getting older.

So, I stopped here.
Some articles maybe could be put together in a video. E.g. on the SDR + the Russo-China SDR and the couple of articles on China and OBOR to an all-out video about China’s flavor of the NWO. I favored articles which a more general or cover a specific (but important enough) point of a broader topic (e.g. climate tipping point hoax) and also articles which cover a topic that is rarely covered ever in media.
I made an ! behind the articles I found very important and put those in () which I were not entirely sure about.
Cheers, Mielia
