I doubt this will ever work as planned. Just look at all the unexpected outcomes of genetically modified organisms.
Modern “science” tends to focus on specific details and not how whole systems interconnect and function. There are so many unknown or overlooked aspects to how natural systems function (i.e., chaos theory) that these attempts at replication or replacements for nature are doomed to fail. In other words, these artificial “wombs” can function in the specific ways that the article details but it’s unlikely that they will able to actively replace actual functioning biological wombs. There will likely be unforeseen consequences of this technology which will probably lead to mutations, defects and/or any other disastrous results.
No matter how hard these people try, they will likely never be able to replace/control nature/God/the Tao/whatever you want to call it.
I’m in general agreement with all that you say, but I think of the thousands of biological research labs as proving grounds. The research grants come with a purpose, and those purposes could very well be coordinated by tight policy groups funded by the wealthiest people on the planet.
Despite the rapid dissemination of new findings via the internet there will be a process of containement of some sort. Totally privately-funded labs will generate the kinds of things that matter most to the sponsors. All the rest is razzle dazzle to attract public donations by those hoping for a public cure, or whatever.
At the moment the huge pharmaceutical concerns are more interested in continuing the gravy train, to underwrite the very real findings that benefit only the few, while steering clear of an outright cure that would stop the funds flow. A cure is of limited financial benefit to a corporation or a group of corporations. A neverending demand for the best band-aid of the day will be preferred, to keep the donations gravy train flowing.
Incidentally, I notice the rosy cheeks and smooth skin of some “special” nonagenarians (eg. Henry Kissinger) and others in a suspected select group. George Soros must not be part of the in-crowd 🙂
It is also rumoured that a cure for some types of cancer has been discovered, but – you guessed it – the benefits are withheld for only the ubermenschen.
I just wanted to conclude my remarks with a few items on the subject that would have muddled what I wanted to say in the last post.
The trials and errors during hundreds of millions of years of evolution have provided the successful living organisms of today with a structural sophistication that includes robustness and adaptability. It will be hard to appreciate the complexities after having only 1 or 2 centuries of rigorous scientific method. The depth and breadth of scientific discovery has been awesome over the last 50-60 years but that time factor alone weighs heavily against a full understanding.
When I became a father to three children I believed that they should be breastfed for as long as possible. I couldn’t accept that the new science of store-shelf baby formula would have all the time release nutrients and trace enzymes that fresh mother’s milk would.
I’m very interested in brain structure and its biochemistry as these subjects are at the centre of what we are as conscious, sentient beings.
I’m also more interested than ever about human embryology because the nuances of developmental pathways can have colossal impact on subsequent childhood development. What do we know, for example, about the possible use of short-term scaffolding in fetal development? Looking at a final protein product it would be hard to reverse engineer a process that used such scaffolding.
Two thoughts.
One. I wodun’t think the robot overlords in Matrix(TM) would be particularly interested in life expectancy of their batteries. The process seemed efficient and replacements plentiful. These beings would be the zenith of transhumanism; a creature created from the very first moment with a specific intent in mind using a very specific recipe. It would be all just matter of finding that optimal DNA blueprint. If they were to be used as unthinking slaves in dangerous scenarios slight defects, disorders or propensity to some afflictions wouldn’t be that important. As long as they had a life expectancy that was easy to estimate. If they would be made unaware of what they really are and were expected to join the consumerist rat race, then these faults would make them an even better product, one that is always in need of assistance and medication, a good consumer.
Two. In a less grim scenario and following the line of how these other problem-reaction-solution trifecta come to be, people brought into the world through these means would have only their genes, heinous organisms or malignant growth of unknown origin to blame. Nobody would doubt the unnatural process of gestation as a possible source. Just as nobody is allowed to doubt what is injected directly into the bloodstream just as they are clamoring for environmental causes for common afflictions. The process would simply need to more refined and an all encompassing vaccine could be administered. No testing needed, they would just iron out the creases later.

Let’s consider for a moment just who *they* are. I read an article posted just the other day that went into the abyss of ownerhip in the US health care system – all the way up through the vertical integration of this bloated system.

The findings were jarring and exposed the oligarchal nature of the US “free market” that we’re always told about. It didn’t take much thought to then imagine that the very same sort of oligarchal control of the health care system would be parallelled thoughout the economy.
The corporate matrix of cross-shareholding and cross-directorates is obfuscated enough to give the illusion of public ownership through the stock markets. It is probably the same throughout the world. The stark fact is that only one or two score or so of obscenely wealthy families own our world.

You can’t get completeness with adding more axioms as I understand. Actually very few axioms, very simple “theory”, very few rules, or very few values (or very few terminal goals in AI parlance) might get us un-contradictory completeness or something very close.

And Rockefeller is just working for his masters (using their capital).
I think we need to get away from this hero / villain syndrome.
This is what we’re being indoctrinated with. These industrial “heroes” that supposedly created these mega, global corporations out of nothing, with their bare hands. All in a very short space of time. You can go back to Rockefeller or to someone like Musk today where we are supposed to believe this narrative.
It’s the same with the villain.
We’re supposed to believe that these villains and their (terror) organizations spring up out of nothing, turning themselves into global threats in a matter of weeks or months.
Yet, when you trace it all back, it’s the same cabal that’s behind both.
The populace likes to have their heroes, and their villains, makes for a good comic, manga story as well as the daily MSM news.
I’m perhaps generalizing too much, but the ð’“ð’†ð’‚ð’ heroes – or villains for that matter – are the ones you never hear about.

Yes, concrete signs of the elite’s move from West to East. They moved their HQ already, probably several decades ago. Now they’re moving the capital and assets. Their bankster dollars now going into tech companies and projects in that part of the planet (Huawei, Samsung, OBOR, etc.) while at the same time bankrupting their former base by engaging it in endless costly wars.
Funny isn’t it how Huawei’s origin also lies in the military, not unlike just about any tech company you can name in the West.
This is no coincidence.

I read something recently about how a few people who have discovered natural, unpatentable cures and tried to disseminate the information have been suicided or otherwise silenced. I don’t have further details, or know the veracity of that. It’s just a short something I read, but it fits the paradigm, doesn’t it.

When you look a bit deeper you understand that the planet is almost made of cures for everything so the really hard to grasp part is how in the hell they convinced everyone that “medicine” means chemical industry. My neighbor has some Indian (indigenous, not that he is from India) blood and he knows, almost by osmosis, what every plant is good for. You have even leaves for washing your hands. The Exogenisis that Huxley has in BNW presumes the Uni-Polar World Government of the Cecil Rhodes/Rothschild pipedream which is not in the cards. The Future is the Multi-Polar World. It could happen in the Ultra-Liberal craziness of the USA but it would never happen in Russia because Orthodox Christianity is too embedded in the Culture. Japan would certainly fall for it, China maybe. The USA doesn’t have any Cultural identity except for Exceptionalism and being sore losers. What has been left unspoken but is certainly is sight is not birthing of babies via these artificial means, but birthing of fully developed adults. The sooner they can be grown, the better. Just imagine all the expelled nutrients when the child takes a few decades to grow. All the broken hearts, all the wasted laughs, all of those fleeting moments while you try to find a pair of eyes staring back at you would be rendered superfluous.
Traumatic childhood? Check.
No vacancies in good schools? Check.
Uncomfortable buss rides? Check.

Somewhere on the same vein, KaiOS running phones offer some sort of a middle ground between smart and dumb phones. KaiOS is basically a simple linux core operating system that allows running modest HTML applications. It’s making giant strides in emerging markets, especially in India. It has some ties with Google but at this point it doesn’t look too glib.
