Great episode!
As much as I rail about the Government Worker Syndrome, I think Corbett is probably correct about these “coincidences” (Hawaii drill, Japan alert, etc.). They are not “accidental”.
…And/or the “string pullers behind the scenes” (the CIA script writers) are just trying to stir up a bunch of speculation and conspiracy theories on the internet. Perhaps that is their new PsyOp modus operandi…to throw lots of conspiracy theories (true or not) out into the alternative media. Create lots of noise with lots of “accidental” or sensational incidents.
That’s not a new ploy, they have been doing it all the time. It’s called astroturfing, not playing both sides, but all sides.
…All the lonely people, where do they all come from?
…All the lonely people, where do they all belong?
They should have called it the Eleanor Rigby Data Collection Agency!
Solace is a great driver of depression. But I don’t think talking to people who don’t understand one word you say counts as having company.
Absolutely mkey.
Well I’ve just spent nearly a week with my students talking about Lars Mortensen and Henrik Svensmark’s documentary “The Cloud Mystery”, James Corbett’s documentary “Why Big Oil Conquered the World” and James Ponsoldt, Emma Watson and Tom Hanks’ Hollywood movie “The Circle”
and when I watched this New World Next Week episode (that I particularly enjoyed – James Evan Pilato was in “grande forme”) and they came to this part about the Minister of Loneliness
I couldn’t help but think about Hashgraph inventor Leemon Baird and his will to solve this loneliness problem by creating “Shared Worlds” (inspiration for “Swirlds”,the name of this company) where “everyone sees everyone and everyone knows that everyone sees everyone and everyone knows that everyone knows that everyone sees everyone…”
when suddenly it struck me how much the name “Leemon Baird” ressembles the name “Eamon Baily” who was the Tom Hanks “Steve Jobs” character in the movie “The Circle”…
I’ve already mentioned on this comments board how much Baird seems to reflect the values in The Circle movie promoting the constant surveillance aparatus “SeeChange”…
but I hadn’t noticed the similarity in the names…
anyhow…
That stuff practically writes itself. I can’t wait to read the chapter in which it’s explained how Leemon fails to bring people together through technology as all that is needed is a human touch, a look, a spoken word, a smile.
Thanks for that documentary reference, haven’t watched it, but I’m gonna.
Yup, I’d already mentioned it and just to confirm for purely selfish reasons:
I’m not exactly sure why, but on January 7th, in response to a remark by John O., I felt compelled to write on the “Is AI Real or Is it All Hype” comments board:
“It occurred to me that Hashgraph inventor and Swirlds (shared worlds) co-founder Leemon Baird seemed to be striving to enact the mantras laid out in The Circle…“Secrets are lies, sharing is caring, privacy is theft.â€
Sharing worlds (where everybody sees everybody else and everybody knows that everybody sees everyone else and everybody knows that everybody knows that everybody see everybody else, is caring?… curing loneliness?…

Interesting script…
I guess we will see if Hashgraph becomes BashCraft.
ARGO is one letter away from CARGO, make of that what you will.
NOVA cars were not selling in Mexico (if I recall correctly) because NOVA translates into NO-GO (I don’t speak Spanish).
They’re going to find out more about Lonliness so they can exploit, drug, and weaponize it and inflict it upon everyone else. Governments and elites thrive on suffering.
They should at least appoint a minister for peace, if only one.
In italian “nova” it would indeed mean “not-go” even though it should be “nonva” for that to be completely correct.
There is a toyota model, AYGO, which played on sounding like “I go.” Lets not forget the outsanding “you-go I stay” meme.
Pardon my rambling.
P.S. if they did appoint a peace minister, it would be one of the hawks from the neocon cabal. Or maybe just some hot chick, a “piece” minister.
Maybe it was Italy (I don’t speak Italian).
(In fact, I only speak Canadian (Anglais).)
P.S. A peace minister in a two-piece.
Makes you wonder if she is the real deal. Send her over to my place for a day or so, then we’ll see how well she “Ministers”.
😉
mkey,
By the way, thanks for commenting at The North Dallas Gazette.

The number of comments on the Fluoride issue have broken records for this Black oriented publication, so I can tell that they are excited and they are giving the topic a lot of play with further articles.
If the “minority aspect” sticks, then this will definitely bring attention to the Dallas City Council. We know the Council is getting nervous. They should be.

It’s sad that this needs to be presented as a minority issue to gain traction.
HAWAII CONTINUES TO BE UNDER ATTACK:
I’m not generally a monarchist, but I could possibly make an exception for Hawaii.
Favorite quotes:
“…the first events in Hawaii stretched the limits of credibility: this second one, four days later…â€
“…once may be accident, two is a pattern…†except after the third, when they all become three peas in a pod!
Are these false alarms the result of cyber-attacks?! – #6, and counting
DRIVERLESS CARS:
You guys – SO cynical?
Well I’m here to tell you that driverless cars also have their fans:
– Chauffer’s/Taxi Driver’s – sleep on the job! (soak it up Travis Bickle)
– Michael Hastings …no, wait…scratch that
Favorite quotes: “Hal?†“Argo!â€
TRAGETING LONELY PEOPLE:
Tracey Crouch, didn’t she use to work for that religious cult?
Oh no, sorry, I forgot, they all committed suicide.
Personally I don’t need a gov’t dept. to help me deal with isolation (although getting rid of some gov’t dept.’s would help); I can always talk to my deflated basketball.
Favorite quotes: “Data is the new oil.â€
“…sit in your little isolated apartment or whatever in the middle of the city and wait for the Minister of Loneliness to tell you how to feel more connected…†which directs one to the observation that they call it the “Ministry of Loneliness†not the “Ministry of Connecting!”
Even if both are absurdly funny and creepy, these two monikers speak of substantially different perspectives.
Of course the “Ministry of Connecting” is more accurate but way too honest! Would immediately make folks wary, turn everyone off the idea: “virtually connecting” would be even more accurate. Ministry of Loneliness and Isolation so much more politically correct and emotionally striking!
A problem that needs to be humanely studied, analyzed and addressed!
Leemon Baird also feels very concerned about this problem of “being less socially connected because of social stuff on that device” (the smartphone) or of being “alone together” as his interviewer quotes MIT social scientist Ted Talk speaker Sherry Turkle as saying.
Leemon Baird says the solution will come with VR of course but that we also need these “shared worlds” (that he’s striving to create) that are all “invisibly connected” as he’d described earlier in the interview I linked above.
So the Ministry of Loneliness is a step behind Leemon Baird who might call himself the “Minister of Invisibly Connected Shared Worlds”. He implies that his shared worlds respect privacy because there’re no centralized servers modeling, stocking and solliciting your psychological profile for companies or governments. Hmmmmm…
So it’s a relief to know that both the public and private sectors are doing their utmost to solve this problem of feelings of loneliness and isolation…and getting everyone connected… in the Internet of Things…
Or as Mr Corbett says, you could just join a chorale or take up drawing or join your local bird-watching association?
Then again VR, Second Life, so much safer in this cynical IRL world of terrorists, perverts and false missile alerts! At least with virtual connections I have immediate access to my basement …
ok done with the gratuitous coffee break commentary…gonna leave this shared world for the moment…
How’s Wilson? Still depressed?
or has he bounced back?
Sorry. In reality, I’ve actually never been very fond of Tom Hanks… at all…

Ministry of loneliness is no solution. It’s just to show intention, to show that government is aware of the problem.
Finding new hobby might help someone, but many still won’t be able to find real friends. Problem is much much deeper.

Is there maybe some connection with loneliness?
Robert David Steele offers excellent insights:
http://phibetaiota.net/2018/01/defdog-there-was-a-missile-government-is-lying/
Well, I was looking at Sonex’s link.
My family is perplexed as to why I’d want to understand why there were two missile alerts in three days…
I was perplexed as to why that was perplexing.
My spouse informed me that there was no way to have an answer to that question so why worry about it?
I’ve never had a talent for repartee…
Surprising that this subject should be still another dividing conspiracy theorists from… non-conspiracy theorists…
If only we knew which questions won’t have any answers readily available so that we can avoid losing time on them all together.
If only someone had told me I won’t find any answers sifting through hundreds of hours of various 9/11 materials. Oh, well.
I guess there must be some sort of…gene for pragmatism… that we’re perhaps… lacking in…?
But at least, you must be super good at sifting… through stuff…
?
oh well.
😎
I don’t think I am 🙂 What it did allow me to gain a perspective on was, what I consider to be, a fact that every shred of something that appears to be true is hidden behind a truckload of bull.
I also learned how not to obsess over matters which only appear to be easily provable while they are wrapped in several layers of enigma.
There are already tools that let people who don’t have control of their legs drive regular cars. The driver uses his hands to control the acceleration/brakes. I’ve seen this in use around 25 years ago by a friend of the family who is paraplegic.
Looking up videos on youtube for ‘drive car paraplegic’ I quickly found one that shows a portable system, so you don’t even need to be limited to an adapted car.
So yeah, “the cripple will now be able to drive” argument is bunk in regards to self driving cars.

“Notable presidential visits:
“Trump’s first visit to Mar-a-Lago as President of the United States took place on the weekend of February 3–6, 2017. On Saturday, he hosted the Diamond Red Cross Ball at Mar-a-Lago Club,[27] while on Sunday, he watched Super Bowl LI at Trump International Golf Club (West Palm Beach). The estimated cost (over US$3 million) of the weekend garnered some scrutiny as Trump, before being elected, had regularly criticized President Obama for taking allegedly expensive taxpayer-funded vacations.
“Trump and ShinzŠAbe at Mar-a-Lago:
“On the weekend of February 10–12, 2017, President Trump and his wife Melania hosted Japanese Prime Minister ShinzÅ Abe and his wife. This was the first use of Mar-a-Lago to entertain an international leader,[29] and the occasion for one of his first international security crises, that of a North Korean missile launch. Trump and Abe conferred in full view of the other diners.â€
“Security zone:
“When the President is in residence the Palm Beach region becomes a zone of temporary flight restrictions[52] affecting flights and air operations severely within a 30 nautical mile (55.56 km) radius.[53] Coast Guard and Secret Service secure the two waterway approaches, ocean and lake, and Secret Service cordons off streets to Mar-a-Lago during the President’s visits.[54] By the third weekend in February 2017, nearby Palm Beach County Park Airport (Lantana Airport) had been shut down for three consecutive weekends, accumulating significant financial losses for multiple businesses.â€

Also, speaking of the loneliness-connectedness divide, COINTEL programs are specifically designed at a very psychologically/sociologically sophisticated level to isolate people, and they do this because there are real consequences.

Have you ever considered reviewing the movie The Lives of Others?
Or the documentary The Burning Wall (I highly recommend this documentary, although you might have a hard time getting hold of it).
Having a Minister of Loneliness is a ridiculous concept. There are many ways to avoid being lonely or isolated from people and many other countries are already implementing very interesting ideas.
In The Netherlands they have created a way to help elderly people stay connected with the younger generations. They have created mergers between student accommodation and old age homes:
