I will give up on r-b-t s-x, but I would sure like to see “bioreductionism” at least as as big as “terror” in the SEARCH BY TAG section.
It seems to be at least as big a control mechanism, especially in the long run. The marketer in me says the world needs less high-falutin but equally non-loaded terms for bioreductionism, but it is better than nothing and needed at a certain level of modern educabuzzed NYTimes discourse, no doubt.

Your global divide hypothesis may be completely correct. Israelis have enough firepower to reduce what’s left of Palestine to rubble and the media would white wash their retaliatory strike till kingdom come. This confrontation plays a role on many levels and it may be safely assumed many people stand to benefit from it. Would Israel stand to gain defense money from their little brother US of A were it not for the constant threat in the form of fluke missiles fired at uninhabited illegal settlements under Israeli control.
I hold no hope we’ll manage to see this issue resolved during my lifetime.

What about Russia and China? They do still exist as world powers – or at least dynastic interests in any eventual NWO aristocracy. China is openly competing for Africa and ME alliances. Russia would not whitewash Israeli genocide quite so fast, even if only because that would be a missed opportunity
I think you are still right though, and I am constantly stretching my head around how wars and other historical disasters can be stage-managed, manipulated, phony and very real conflicts, with very real consequences, all at the same time.
I am thinking of show business and pro fighting as models. The competitors passions are real half the time anyway, as are some of the contests and results, but it’s all managed from above by business people, and other powerful players get their cut and say so too, and these are all competing, though sometimes allied, interests themselves, and they all die eventually and leave power vacuums at every level…
What’s new here is the global end game factor.
In the case of Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, I would say that someone wants shit to fly far beyond the reaches of Palestine.
Somebody might just be thinking they are going to WIN this thing, and I am not sure their plans depend on which parties end up beneath them, alive or dead, in the hierarchy of winners and losers we call history.
I pay little attention to Trump. When I do my street smarts tell me he is managed with drugs and mind control. Anyway, somebody is calling his shots from above. Trying to figure out who exactly is at war with whom in the upper reaches of the kakistocracy right now, and which are street fights, which random nutty moves, that is confusing.
If we decide to fall for that “west-east” thing, I’d say both Russia and China need to pick their battles. Like how Russia got into Syria to fight “ISIS”, swooped USA out of the way, then offered Obama a face saving opportunity and finally left the country as if on a tight schedule. Figuring these events out is rather complicated if not impossible.
Regarding Trump chump, some of his videos might be animated, as well. That’s always an option.

I can tell you pretty much what the paper says and who is funding it by the main thesis, though…let me guess, they will not solve but they will dissolve the body mind “problem” in something that is not you. Odds are, it is eventually patented, whatever else it is.
Mind/body is mostly a “problem” for those who want to control both.
When it comes to me controlling me, I have found the study fascinating, but not particularly helpful after 50 years.
When it comes to them controlling me I now find it even more interesting and – DAMN! – occasionally, it seems to have been effective. Which is why I keep studying it.

The segment on bioreductionism reminded me of an interesting article titled “Your brain does not process information and is not a computer.” The article does a pretty good job outlining the debate over the use of the “brain-as-computer” metaphor, and argues that it is a flawed, and largely rhetorical, construct.

But, in spite of his mostly very well argued and true thesis, he saves himself from the persecution. He decimates the bioreductionist brain = computer model but assures us (emphases mine):

Whew, my brain is not a computer, but at least it’s a MACHINE!

(Even I am Austrian economist enough to put those quotes in.)
I am personally convinced he was in fact prepared by his whole life somehow for this, because lots of people got free internet in 2006, and there is only one Corbett report, but I am sure glad it wasn’t a subscription newsletter in the mail…
One of the seldom times I heard from something not from corbettreport first. Elsagate was featured by ‘normal’ (non-conspiracy as Vinnie would name them) German Youtubers prominently. So, good to see people haven’t lost their minds yet and don’t deny everything.

I love the NYT wording! Trump has ordered the deep state, oh so severely, to “begin PLANNING to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem over the next several years…”
If you read that carefully, it is possible that they are really only beginning to plan over the next several years!
Even if they get past planning, you are right, other nations will balk and that will be news-cycle fodder…a way to sort out friends and enemies and as always, part of the general strategy of tension and destabilization…
No country would dare move their embassy in East Jerusalem, not even the US is stupid enough to do something like that. In other words, when the US does indeed move its embassy, it will be in West Jerusalem (not East Jerusalem).
…meaning? If Israel is to have Jerusalem as its “undivided” capital, then eventually (and I mean soon), they will have to increase their illegal settlement building in and around East Jerusalem, which will only exacerbate the problem, further increasing world wide sympathy for the plight of the Palestinians.
If and when the dust settles, no country will want to move their embassy on stolen Palestinian land.

Bio-reductionism is the end result of a belief that our reality is fundamentally a Material one.
“Free will does not exist and is an illusion,” IS the working basis of current Neuroscience. This IS the first principle that they operate from and they believe it because they have to. It is the only way to rationalize a human conscience in a material world.
This belief also has a nice side benefit that once you reduce a human to machine status you are morally off the hook for all sorts of evil.
I think James is spot on with Sophia [Gnostic?], if we note she was given the same status that we all currently enjoy as citizens within a slave state. They aren’t only rising the robot up, they are also lowering us down. They are saying “Look you are a robot too.”

I haven’t kept up with Hameroff, and don’t feel qualified in all the details, but am very familiar with Penrose, his “philosophical” inspiration and colleague.

In spite of my lack of qualifications, I do get the drift of his theories and experiments though, and my gut says he is onto something in terms of HOW the mind works physically and “quantumly.” He also seems (to me personally) like a very, brilliant, gracious, sincere and humble man of science.
Unfortunately, I fear that, as is so often the case, the fruits of his sincere humility are probably of interest to DARPA, but that’s life.

Hameroff concedes that, though they’ve had to move the goal post down the road a few decades, within 100 years or so the Kurtzweilians may succeed in producing quantum processes fast enough to create subjective experience, consciousness… reinforcing the objectivication of humans… which may indeed interest DARPA…
Your editorial also seemed to suggest that exploring the notion of consciousness residing outside of the brain, or that biological matter could contain “spirit” would help science to stop spinning in circles…?

If you research the various translations (from the original Greek) of the Lord’s Prayer there are MANY bones of contention. Why did Pope Francis chose this particular phrase (from the 5th Petition)?
I went to several sources for a quick backgrounder but settled upon Wikipedia for ‘Lord’s Prayer’ and ‘Epiousios’.
4th Petition
There is vigourous debate about the meaning of the Greek word ‘epiousios’ and its English transalation into the literal ‘daily bread’ rather than ‘supersubstantial bread’, associated with the eucharist as is done in the earliest translations into Latin. Martin Luther eventually changed his own German translation to ‘daily bread’ in 1528.
5th Petition
A preponderance of English translations use the phrase “forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” and was used in Wycliffe’s original English translation.
“And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us” is the translation in the Catholic Church’s ‘Our Father’, in the Anglican Book of Common Prayer, and by some other Protestant denominations.
There is also the English Language Liturgical Consultation version: “Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. ”
Debts, trespasses, sins. Quite a mix: contract law, property law, the immortal soul. Nothing to see here.
6th Petition
“But deliver us from evil” is also read as: “Do not let us be led (by ourselves, by others, by Satan) into temptations”. ¿Que paso, El Papa?
I’m curious as to how this Trumpeting about Jerusalem as the Israeli capital will affect Lebanon’s newly restated commitment that came with Hariri’s resignation freeze to “stay distanced” from foreign Arab conflicts…?

As I see it, the problem is now rarely whether an entity on the world stage is controlled opposition. From some pov, they ALL are.
The question is by whom and what is the hierarchy of control and to what final apex does it lead, if any…
The problem reminds me of one in spy intrigue theory. (If anybody recalls the Angleton as mole theory in a recent JFK thread, it is one such occasion.) There are several competing in principle “National” networks of operatives with hidden coded operations that in principle lead up to an apex in each one that is honestly assessing loyalty below.
But as each network penetrates the other with doubled and then tripled, and even quadrupled, agents at all levels, right to the top, and as operations are carried out with cut-outs, and mind controlled stooges, at some point the question becomes to whom is the apex loyal and WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?
So one looks for networks of power above even those, and there they are, but with similar dynamics…and it seems to be turtles all the way up!
