I must admit I haven’t read Samuel P. Huntington’s book, however when they say “Clash of Civilizations”, I don’t think they mean nation state vs nation state like China clashing with Japan, or Brazil clashing with Argentina, or India clashing with Pakistan and so on and so on…in other words WW3. Nor do I think they mean Shia vs Sunni, Catholic vs Protestant, or Buddhist vs Taoism etc… I can’t help but think what they really mean is open door immigration/migration and the end of borders…however, I may be wrong.
When it comes to ErdoÄŸan and the failed Turkey coup, no doubt in my mind this was an inside job created by ErdoÄŸan in order for him to scapegoat Gulen, the US and his political enemies at home, and use it to try to escape the clutches of NATO as he tries to keep the Kurds from breaking away from Turkey.
As far as Israel “Greater Israel” is concerned, Israel just doesn’t have the Jewish population it needs to expand its borders. The Zionists are limited to incrementally taking a few acres of land once every so often in and around Jerusalem, and that’s about it. “Greater Israel” I believe, might be the Zionists long term plan to create a sort of European Union for the Middle East, with Jerusalem as their Brussels. That, to me is a much more plausible, than say Israel occupying Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Jordan.
Seems as though we’re being subjected to more 3-D or n-dimensional gamesmanship. While the world microanalyzes Turkey, Russia, NATO, EU false flags, and the US election circus, the G20 crowd gets ready to meet in China (with its all seeing eye logo). Last week China Daily was quoting Turkish “experts” (including the chief of the Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey) who concluded China’s goal for the upcoming G20 meeting will be “to promote G20 as efficient platform for world governance”.
Meanwhile, we are to believe the Saudis and other wealthy gulf nations are at odds with Russia due to GCC meddling in Syria, and yet the Saudis are negotiating a multi-billion dollar contract with Russia to build a sophisticated air defense system. This past March, representatives from Russia and Qatar were shaking hands in NY at the UN patting backs over major Sustainable Development initiatives to be showcased in World Cup events. Russia also moves forward expanding the globally ubiquitous RFID Smart Cards tracking system linked to cell phone numbers. Kuwait began tracking all visitors via biometrics, mirroring a European pilot project reported last year. Qatar is said to be a Smart nation, GCC a Smart Region, Russia’s flashy Kazan a Smart City… Globalists: “Don’t look here, look there!”
I see the crisis of Islam and the West quite a bit differently than Corbett. Islam is not a friend of the globalists, or even a good tool to use to further their cause. I think of the “globalists” and the “jihadists” as a clash between a gang of Mafia lords and a gang of religious zealots, both seeking domination of the world for their particular ideology. But their respective ideologies are not compatible with each other.
The globalists seek as much centralization of the West as can be achieved; but they wish their centralization to remain Western in cultural matters. The jihadists seek to unify the world under the yoke of Islam and to destroy all Western cultural values. They want humanity under the yoke of Allah and the religion of Muhammad. The globalists want a secularized West with a purging of all religion. Jihadists are very religious; they believe devoutly in a spiritual God and an afterlife. Globalists are basically humanist; they believe devoutly in political-financial power and this life.
The only thing they have in common is that they revere centralized totalitarian politics. But their metaphysics and ultimate purpose for life are totally different. They both want total power, but they intend to use it to shape disparate worldviews.

If we look at history, we know the C.I.A along with the Saudi’s created Al Qeada in the mid 1980’s in order to defeat the Soviets in Afghanistan. Soon after the Soviet defeat their empire collapsed in 1989. Then came the first Gulf war in 1991, followed by 9/11, and then Iraq invasion in 2003.
In some way, the Jihadists have been a friend of the globalists, however I believe a schism happened sometime after the creation of ISIS in 2005/06.
During Bush’s last term in office, I believe it became evident to the globalists, with Bush’s approval ratings at an historic low, America’s war-weariness, and their goals far from being achieved, they knew that if the Democrats were going to win the White House in 2008, they might put a stop to their New American Century project dream. So I believe that they decided to created ISIS sometime in 2006 in order for them to be able to continue the war in Iraq and eventually expand into Syria.
It would appear after Obama decided not to bomb Syria, one “globalists” faction decided to use the Syrian refugee crisis as a Trojan Horse in order to infiltrate, attack and punish the other “globalists” faction in Europe.
So now we have one faction of the globalists that want a secularized World, being attacked by the other globalist faction which is seeking to demonize all of Islam simply by using these same jihadists that fought for them in Iraq and Syria to now attack the other “globalists” in Europe.
This schism is also playing out currently in American politics. You have “the Donald” and to some extent the Brexit boys in the UK, on one side, meanwhile you have the other Republicans split along the lines of Bush, Cruz, Kasich, Ryan, and Romney being more aligned with the secular “globalists” in Europe.
Who will win this power struggle come November? The Globalists that seek a secular political World that includes all the religions of the world, including Islam. Or will it be the Globalists that seek to demonize all Muslims, create fear and panic everywhere with every terrorist attack?
In the lead up to the elections in November, if there is a terrorist attack(s), who will that benefit? Hillary, or the Donald?
Be wary of an October surprise if Trumps poll numbers are low come late September/October.
Good points to think about. But I’m unconcerned with who ends up in the White House. This analogy occurred to me recently: The deep state that Corbett speaks about – military, intel, international capital, banking, supranational corporations – are the operating system (OS) on the iPhone. Politicians are the apps. Fungible and easy to download and easy to delete.
Pretty good analogy, however much like any electronic device they have their flaws and they do eventually break down and are replaced, sometimes with something better, sometimes not.
As far as the operating system (OS) they are only as useful as their user, which is us, the people. In other words, at the end of the day, we are in control of the military, intel, international capital, banking, supranational corporations.
For example, Dwight D. Eisenhower warned us of the Military-Industrial Complex, it wasn’t enough to stop JFK’s head from being blown off, but people did a few years later took to the streets in protest and stopped the Vietnam war.
The “war on Vietnam” was stopped within a context of a “conscription military.” Within a context of a “voluntary military” no wars have been stopped.
Good point, the same reason China was groomed to be the large scale example of a modern technocracy is it was already authoritarian, and that’s the reason the already co-opted authoritarian middle east nations have been targeted to be fully transformed before the western nations are tackled.
The wealthy Gulf states have already begun the rapid transition into the New World Order version of Technocracy, including EVERY economic, social, and geopolitical facet that involves. Even Hamas recently endorsed “technocrats” for political offices in Gaza and the West Bank. When Islamic Malaysia was imploding several months ago from corruption charges against Prime Minister Najib Razak, whose personal bank accounts were found to have deposited over $1 billion, calls were made to replace Malaysian leadership with technocrats.
Technocracy researcher Patrick Wood (and former Corbett Report guest) made an excellent case that Islam is being interpreted as a “GREEN” religion in many middle east oil nations that are moving forward with the new economic order mandated under Agenda aka “Vision” 2030 including Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Oman.
I hope James will do a report on these developments soon. It’s no secret given this information is being reported in the mainstream media, including major articles from media outlets such as the Wall Street Journal. It just takes time and effort to assimilate it and some background to provide perspective. Certainly, Islamic nations are diverse and much resistance still remains, however, there is an aggressive transformation underway, call it the New Middle East project or whatever – it’s a freight train running roughshod over an entire span of cultures.
Maybe this would be a good Corbett community project? It’s the biggest story not being reported in the alternative media.

Israel continues to act as a sovereign state; realignment of Turkey is consistent with an ultimate global realignment in Israel’s interest, minus US hegemony, as suggested by Kramer in the latest _Foreign Affairs_.
