I am just really starting to learn the story of Haiti from Dec 4 1492 to now. The TaÃno seemed chosen for destruction and enslavement by chance, destiny, the “random” cruelty of “history” (i.e. murderers), whatever you want to call it.

Since then, nothing has been by chance. When we look at what’s been done to the Haitians in the last 230 years, 30 years, 3 years, 3 months…revulsion, nausea and shame aside, our own planned fate will become clearer to us.
In the 90s you were a crazy conspiracy theorist if you talked about black helicopters and UN troops on American soil. Today it’s banal — and more. Killer robots, flying drones, and 24/7 spying on all communications? Normalized and accepted. Conspiracy theory is now mainstream, out in the open, and the response is resounding apathy.
On the surface at least, a good news story out of the US congress: 13 Republicans and 12 Democrats recently announced the creation of the House Fourth Amendment Caucus to protect privacy rights. A USA Today article reports the group is concerned the “government is increasingly seeking the power to search Americans’ electronic data without a warrant…a threat to Constitutional amendment protections…”.

This might be an opportunity for Americans to create a dialogue on what the end game of a surveillance state will look like if people around the world don’t wake up soon.

Oligarchical family trees. Grey’s anatomy of Liberal hypocrisy and phony left-right divisions. Corporate org charts. Conspiracy timelines. Doggerel and humor tests. (When do we get the Corbett cross-word puzzle?)
Like many a habit, it seems like a good thing at first. But it takes over. Deadlines missed. Bills unpaid. Toilet needs cleaning and the laundry is rank. Who has time to shave or even buy a razor? Or soap? Or food?
I melt down. Society melts down. Governments collapse. The UN takes over. For God’s sake, connect the dots, folks!
Yet I am working on my Lumumba/Hammarskjöld post and I will send these guys both money for Christmas.
