Thanks for all this heaven-sent info: I have a few suggestions and questions:

How about a Bureau to Counter Internal Propaganda, especially that delivered by the MSM? We already know our bureaucrat/lawmakers in Washington DC haven’t enough to do — other than of course digging deep into certain bulging pockets (as well as our very own…) but while we’re holding our breath, waiting for the next shoe to drop, I’d like to hear someone explain Ukraine’s strategic interest to the US of A. And why it’s not of strategic interest to Russia?

Re Swearwords: This is what happens to the world when narrow-minded bureaucrats (especially of the hypocrite variety), run it.

Is Amazon going to give us a refund?

Re: The Tsunami, the gov is probably busy right now working on how best to stage this… This is one of the many bonuses to be had in a “technocratic” world.

Here’s another technocratic plot that has Bill Gates plugging it — so we know it’s likely to be not just fruitless but probably quite dangerous as well…

So James Corbett and James Evan Pilato are now disseminating NATO/CIA/Radio Free Europe propaganda?

And not even transparently declaring their “source”?

    Nice work, guys.

Radio Free Europe is some of the heaviest propaganda sources I have witnessed here in Europe. In my country they made an official report lately about a class named somewhat like “Countering russian propaganda” in highschool, where basically the teachers learn the kids to worship NATO propaganda and accept it as the only real truth.

Most people here should know, that the whole MH-17 thing with it’s timing and tweeter blurred image “proof”, tells you more than they intended to. Russia was framed almost before the plane even hit the ground, following sanctions against EU (Russia doesn’t suffer half as much from these) installed by the EU itself… I wonder how many people from west even listened to what Russia said officially to MH-17. I always try to listen to both sides, but none of my friends or colleagues is willing even listen to me about this. All too occupied with their well being, careers and comfortable conformity.

I reckon that the main problem here is, that they fear the truth massively. They don’t want to find out, that the official line is not true, and they can’t overcome this obstacle no matter what. They can’t imagine, that they have been lied to for their whole life. Their world would fall apart and therefore they dodge any uneasy subject instinctively. Together with automatic adoption of all new with total absence of critical thinking, this forms some worrying new generation.

Any ideas how to help them overcome this?

    • phreedomphile says:

They seem to be making the point that state sponsored paid professional propagandists can be found on the internet all over the world, certainly the US, China, and Russia, and no doubt Europe and many or all other nations to one degree or another.

Large western media outlets that routinely pump Elite propaganda and spin, to include the NY Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Newsweek, Radio Free Europe, Guardian, The Independent, etc, always mix a high concentration of accurate “news” with skewed stories and plenty of limited hangouts. It’s always a matter of learning to sort the wheat from the chaff and being able to deftly recognize bias and reporting agendas. There are many great nuggets to be found and washed off to provide another piece of the grand puzzle.

There is much irony that some alt media sources don’t question the spin coming out of RT, not at all an independent reporting agency it is state owned and controlled yet they routinely pull out their microscopes to dissect US MSM reporting. Fewer see the patterns of nation state tag-team propaganda echoing the rabid promotion of nationalism in 1984 with faux rivalries among three superstates.

      • paul6 says:

        @ phreedomphile

If James and James had wanted to make a point then they would have correctly declared the “source“ of that “news”. I think it was just sloppy.

I suspect that that “russian troll” news story is 100% pure propaganda lies. Otherwise the “journalists” from RFE could have investigated the information given by that supposed troll-informant a bit more. Also that story came like a propaganda campaign all over the controlled “western” media.

In any case supposing that a story given by a known propaganda factory (RFE) is true and taking it as “proof” that there is propaganda on “all sides” is contradictory or a non-sequitur.

  3. michal says:

Manipulating science is old as humankind itself.
Very telling when done by tobacco industry, like TV commercials from the 60s featuring medical doctors.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D-y_N4u0uRQ

In our times however, the biggest technological lie that you are told is that connected to mobile phones and their effect on health. Here the science manipulation is absolutely epical and most of independent researchers who dared to say cellphones are somewhat dangerous, are not able to get any grants in the field anymore.
All research on mobile health is done by official labs well connected to mobile business (weighting 3 trillions USD in 2015).

It’s sometimes even funny to listen to this “no other than thermal effects” crap, reading studies from the 50’s and 60’s listing all kinds of non-thermal effects on human health and psychology (check archives at Magda Havas’s excellent site).

  4. candideschmyles says:

I suggest you take a scientific attitude to that report on science fraud Jameses. For actually the “survey” is NOT scientific. Indeed all it is is the result of a survey of which we know nothing. Scientists are famous for their competition for funding, their secrecy and a general scepticism required of an individual practising the scientific method. A survey of OPINION amongst such a group free to anonymously criticise their competitors has zero credibility.
And it is far from original too. Every year or so there some effort to cast doubt on the validity of logic and testing as valuable to the art of deduction. I find myself asking why. Why this effort to rubbish the very best tools in the toolkit of truth seekers? And why is it insidiously delivered memelike into the very group of western young adults who are searching for answers and solutions? The most potentially capable group there is.
I find your anti science bullshit creepy.

  5. michal says:
