   Hi James. Enjoyed this — half-listening while pulling together my tax information. It burns me up that I am forced to support the bandit regime (of thugs) running this country. I hear/read criticisms of the American populace at large, that we’re at fault, we’re dumb-downed and coddled by TV nonsense, etc. But I disagree. I think, as is mentioned here, Americans are overworked (and purposefully so). The aim by the PTB is to keep us so occupied (and so propagandized, lied to and duped) that we won’t have time to sort out truth from fiction and figure out what is going on, much less do anything about it. And I also agree with the time devoted here to parsing the news, figuring out who you can trust who you can’t… That takes time, too. But was reading some stuff this morning that the pivot for major change is in the US and that if Americans don’t stand up and demand significant change it won’t happen anywhere. I know there have been feeble efforts that have fizzled; Occupy was one of the more memorable ones–but we did get it together in the 60s and we made a sizable dent then in deranged foreign policy objectives. So why have we been such wimps since? Or is it less wimpiness than because the PTB made certain that any and all circumstances that might provide the ground for such widespread opposition were just pulled out everywhere and from underneath everyone? I tend in this direction — i.e., to see the sudden tuition rises and the huge indebtedness of college students as a purposefully instituted measure to make sure students do nothing but mind their Ps and Qs and study their books. And having signed up for the Journal of Foreign Affairs — one year: no more–I am dumbfounded at the chutzpah and shamelessness of that journal for putting out misleading data, misdirection and out and out lies. I have a temper tantrum whenever I go there and can’t restrain myself from telling them off. Amazingly, they allow it — they let you tell them outright that the content of their journal is sophomoric and stupid–but nonetheless the style has all the appearance of sophisticated journalism. I loved by the way FLNWO Pink Cadillac discussion — listened to that at least three times, there was so much in it. Do you think there is any way the American public can stop the election next year of one or the other of our sleazy dynastic contenders. I like your “don’t go to the polls” exhortation but it would only work if we could get almost everyone to go for it — and if we could get almost everyone to go for it, then we could also get almost everyone to stop paying their taxes… And then, and then? And THEN? THANKS!
