How To Escape The Globalist System
The US-China trade war continues to simmer, with Uncle Sam once again talking tough and China, for its part, producing propaganda video after propaganda video promising that hellfire will descend on Washington unless America backs off. Oh, and there’s Beijing’s whole “we’ll deny you rare earth metals” thing, which may be more of a realistic threat.
The yield on benchmark 10-year Treasury note yields has dropped to 19-month lows, and even the phony baloney stock market is slumping globally. Oil prices are down, too.
China’s economy is notoriously difficult to measure, but it’s getting harder and harder for the ChiComs to hide the fact that their industrial output is flagging. And, since we live in a globally connected economy, that means that global trade has fallen to lows not seen since the depths of the Lehman crisis.
Are you feeling the squeeze? After all, we are now stuck in this globalist system, where the pronouncements of (mis)leaders in far away capitals can have immediate—and, all too often, negative—effects on our lives.

Funny how so many people want to throw Snowden under the bus
as a CIA agent, but whenever it’s convenient (as in this case) they don’t hesitate for one second to borrow material from his trove of leaked documents if they bolster their personal viewpoint about an issue.
In other words they want to have their cake and eat it too with Snowden.
This was my struggle within the Protestant sphere, specifically the deeper life teachings of Keswick doctrine. From a place of extended, life-sapping exasperation, I finally realized that unless I could actually walk on water, everything coming from ME was “filthy rags”. Toxic, paralyzing stuff, I tell ya.

I have to be the pessimist and offer the no-solution. I can’t help but think of the military coups here (Brazil), Argentina and Chile (to say nothing of other L.A. countries) whenever I see the word “solution”. There was no solution here. It went down, it changed these countries forever and there’s nothing no one could do about it. And the way people forgot these coups and how violent they were, and now to see lots of people saying it didn’t happen, it as all fake etc, it’s clear that the operation worked flawlessly. I agree with Corbett that the real solution would be to stop participating, but what that really means is something I don’t think a sufficiently big number of people would be willing, or even able to do. That would mean that the only real solution doesn’t exist, which leaves us with no solution. The bastards that be up there really know how to manipulate the most important thing is this matter, which is the psyche – the collective psyche in this case – and the solution against that kind of power is beyond most people. Can you stay buried in the ground only with your nose out for a month, or some yoga thing like that? Would you accept going to prison, knowing what they are, specially over here? I mean, would you be willing to accept things much worse than death? Of course not. I wouldn’t. I’m a squirrel, borrowing from Woody Allen. But that is what it would take – en masse – to really stop participating. Very improbable. In general it changes, no one remembers anymore and on it goes.
To offer something more than nothing, maybe what can be done varies from place to place. People helping each other locally. As someone said once “people doing nice things to each other”, that’s what keeps life going. But it’s no mass thing. It’s local and small, people around you, small communities, your neighborhood etc. Even then, it’s just to sooth (?), to better the journey, not to solve anything, because when the police stops you and you don’t have the necessary papers, they take you or your car away and there’s nothing anyone can do about it. And you do have to adapt to what the system commands. I would love to have a bank account (since I’m force to have one) that I could use without a smartphone and its ridiculous “validation code”, but I can’t. I just tried to make a transfer to my sister’s account (via PC) and the “generate code” didn’t work, so I was forced to do it through the smartphone. You are forced to live as they command without any alternative, but day by day people can help each other in small ways, and that is really what keeps you going. That’s the best this pessimist can do for now. Sorry.
I agree with Corbett that the real solution would be to stop participating, but what that really means is something I don’t think a sufficiently big number of people would be willing, or even able to do.

It always starts with one before it can reach critical mass. And critical mass is probably a lot less than you would think for creating an impactful change. For example, just think about how relatively few Americans it would take to gum up the gears of the IRS. If even 10% of people refused to pay taxes, there would not be enough enforcement officers to contain that situation easily. It would cause major problems for the government. In the same way, taking personal action and making positive changes in your community could have a long-lasting impact.
In my fighting counterproductive projects sponsored by the CorproGovtMedia complex, a truism which became evident:
The lazy minded often speak, “You can’t fight city hall(or govt)” so they don’t have to do anything, stealing other people’s time and effort for their benefit.
They will keep to mind how many have lost their battles with the CorproGovt rather than keep to mind all those who have won. And if the resistance effort fails due to lack of participation (since many an effort is a numbers game of how many are against it) then they claim, “I told you so” and feel [wrongly] justified in their doing nothing.
It would seem the greater issue is pessimism, which falls into the [if it isn’t perfect and hand carried to my doorstep and then enacted for me so I don’t have to lift a finger, then why bother] category.
In short, pessimism most often equals lazy.
Buck up and take a step, the increased circulation will feel better than feeling sorry for yourself that you [choose] to have no power over your situation.
Yes, you can tell I am more ticked off at the hordes of doing nothings, especially when they are directly impacted, than the CorproGovtMedia weasels who unsurprising act like weasels.
A couple of times in your piece James you made reference to ‘the perfect’ as if it were a noun.
Was that by intention or a mistake?

In both cases the sentence would make more sense to me had it been written as ‘the perfect solution’.
