Hong Kong: Chaos Before the Order
When Fox News talking head Kathleen “KT” McFarland had ex-Reagan stooge Michael Pillsbury on her “Defcon 3” web show in 2014 to discuss the so-called Umbrella Movement protests that were then raging across Hong Kong, she got more than she bargained for.
Noting that “Chinese state-owned media” were alleging that the protests were “all the fault of the Americans,” she asked Pillsbury point blank: “So what do you think? It’s all the Americans’ fault?”
Obviously, she was expecting a simple “no.” Instead, Pillsbury told her: “It’s not all our fault, but we’re partially involved. We have a large consulate there that’s in charge of taking care of the Hong Kong Policy Act passed by Congress to ensure democracy in Hong Kong. We also have funded millions of dollars of programs through the National Endowment for Democracy to help democracy in Hong Kong. So in that sense the Chinese accusation is not totally false.”
Like an old propaganda master, McFarland ignored that inconvenient answer and plowed ahead with her prepared questions (including one that began, “My former boss, Henry Kissinger, and I know he’s a friend of yours as well. . .”). Regardless, the ugly truth did peek out from behind the slickly packaged “news” propaganda, if only for a moment, and there was no putting the toothpaste back in the tube.
Five years old now, that exchange has resurfaced in the wake of the latest round of protests in Hong Kong to underscore the point that Uncle Sam does have his fingers in the HK pie and is still manipulating events there. The latest indication of US interference in HK is the brouhaha caused by US diplomat Julie Eadah, who was caught meeting with some of the protest movement’s leading activists in a picture that made the rounds on Chinese social media.
The picture caused a stir, with China “summon[ing] senior officials from the US consulate general in Hong Kong and lodg[ing] stern representations over the contact between US consulate officials and Hong Kong secessionist forces.” The US response? You’re a bunch of thugs for daring to talk about the picture!
But all of this tit-for-tat raises a string of questions: What is America’s role in the current Hong Kong protest movement? Does Washington’s involvement in the protests delegitimize the movement itself? And where does that leave us, looking from the outside in at a situation like this?

There is an update on Reddit/imgur everyday, and it seems to me
that these are popular places to spread propaganda.
I noticed that the police is far less brutal than we see in Paris, during those huge demonstrations that no-one reports about.
I assume that the Chinese are preparing for some mass arrests.
We are to believe that they will kill the protestors, but I
assume that these arrests will lead to “re-education” instead.
The weird thing is that the HK protesters are using American flags to
push for some kind of intervention.
In the comments people do not really fall for that.
The US is not seen as the spreader of democracy any more.
There will also be no intervention, because HK does not have oil.
The protests started about extradition of criminals, I believe?
I hope some day people will protest against the extradition
and imprisonment of journalists in Europe/UK.

Perhaps Uighur style to include permanent disappearances and organ harvesting, another large human farming business to mirror the Falun Gong experience.
China’s government considers non conformity and government criticism to be a criminal act. Peaceful dissenters will becomes the focus of extradition. The people of Hong Kong understand that well.
The US was captured by the pyramid cap early on and molded to reflect a level of freedom unknown to the average serf across generations. The resulting energy and explosively dynamic social and technical developments became the potential for a powerful “scientific” dictatorship. Thus, on the one hand there is the facade and the trap the US became as a lure to the final objective. On the other there is the real human potential that emerged when a fraction of our natural rights as sentient beings was allowed to grow and explore.
It’s the value system that we need to foster and fight for.
Ignore ALL flag waving, that’s akin to Dr. Jose Delgado’s bulls and their controlled rage.
BTW, China’s elites are just as active as American elites in the war against a free humanity and they are working closely together, cooperating. There is a reason Mao was a Yale Student in China and the editor of the Yale newsletter there.
There are instructive parallels and differences between HK and the abortive Maidan protest and coup d’etat in Ukraine, effectively frozen by Russia’s deft leveraging of the hubris, disunity and poor planning of Obama/Biden neocon/humantiarian interveners, their carpet-baggers and native oligarch clients. Having lost control of the industry and raw materials of the Donbas region, Kiev remains a politically headless, flopping chicken, one with Brownshirts on and off the payroll. But Russia certainly paid a price for it, as of course have the people of Ukraine.
The US/UK provocation, shooting down of the Malaysian airliner, and the idiocy of the “investigation” which ensued signal the failure, were the death knell of the entire effort.
Politically and financially, the time for the US to crash The Party in HK has long passed, but damage can still be inflicted.
I don’t have a magic crystal, but nothing is more predictable than a deeply rooted lack of creativity.
So, look again to civil aviation, an area of exclusive US Deep State control. Look at the recently reopened and “secure” HK airport. Look to the skies for the next “bold” move.
I just can’t figure out why every time I read articles like this, I come away with The Beatles’ “Piggies” stuck on replay in my mind. Weird.

BTW, on the US home front (Homeland) microcosm of ordo ab chao some fresh social chaos is being methodically incubated. At first I took notice when the Boston D.A. announced her office would no longer prosecute a list of crimes including [low level?] vandalism and physical assault. Next I came across a documentary on the pandemonium the homeless are creating in Seattle as a result of the police there being told to stand down. Similar scenarios in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Then came a voter referendum in Denver to allow the homeless to camp anywhere, including a home owner’s front lawn. It failed but the psychedelic mushroom referendum passed. So on it goes, bit by bit the dominoes are set up. A booming buzzing confusion with a purpose.
Are we the last wild type homo sapiens left? Immune to the hypnosis.
Seems most everyone else has succumbed to seductive narratives, the high drama.
Meanwhile, the denouement is heavily pregnant with an Orwellian Technotronic Digital Gulag.

How is it the most absurd situations and brazen mind job assaults are never questioned? Doesn’t seem possible. Does the hardwired Dunbar group reflex demand conformity to the point of accepting implausible cause and effect narratives? More likely, the intention is to provoke a Chinese military response, for the aim of demonizing Xi, waging economic war on China, and pressuring nations that participate in the BRI to back away from that venture.
China is Brezinski’s model of totalitarian rule for the world. The Chinese elites are waging the same economic war on the proles that the western elites and middle eastern elites are waging on their serfs.
You should consider taking a look at Lynette Zang’s recent update on China’s economy. They have been taken down the same garden path of unsustainable debt fueling a “consumer economy” with a Chinese bank now failing and China’s government saying there will be no rescue this time.
BRI is UNCTAD and part of the UN Agenda 2030 project to dissolve nation states to include selling off public assets to multinational corporations. It’s happening now at a rapid clip. Also take note China hired Erik Prince to oversee BRI privatized security details. Prince has also been their hired hand to train mercenary security forces in Africa.
No surprise Israel is strongly involved in BRI and had a BRI port built in Israel several years before the project was announced to the world. Gotta connect some more dots, my friend, to see the big pic. There’s a reason Trump never mentioned or tried to rescind Obama’s de facto transfer of management of the net to the UN via ICANN with China reportedly poised to take over management duties. Chertoff had a hand in this quiet back door transfer having sat on the international committee that decided how the internet would be controlled. Chertoff is a dual citizen.
What came to mind after reading this article is that freedom of the common man CANNOT be achieved by getting physical with the State, who are in the business of getting physical. Freedom can also not be achieved by complaining to the government or protesting in this way. This just opens up the people to become the playthings of some ruling class. The battle for freedom has to be won in the mind. As James says, we will sit at our own table. We don’t need to beg for scraps from the master’s table. We will play our own game.
Indeed, who IS fighting over freedoms in HK!? While the people of HK have legitimate concerns over their freedom the two state adversaries, if the brutal truth were to be told, both hate the HK people for their freedoms. If one were to calculate how this will end badly and knowing what the one world state thinks then the people of HK might come to believe they are being set up for a massive fail and a crushing defeat with coming heavy costs for the up rising’s leaders and more important followers.
Some globalist technocrat somewhere has done this further calculation even if China, the U.S. and the people of HK have not. Otherwise the control mechanisms over states would be seen being used to effect a more desired outcome. Both states are globalist states and both are working to the same ends from opposite poles. It is a case of the globalists against the people of HK.

Not necessarily apropos of current gist. Still may I remind everyone that “photos”, pictures, images, of both the still and moving type are no longer admissable in the court of reason. Another angle is the propaganda aimed back at the western consumer of the news. A way of promoting the idea that Democracy is so good that disadvantaged people from other parts of the world are fighting to get it!!
