Hate is a Racket: SPLC Caught Funneling Millions Overseas
You might not know them by name, but assuming you have ever seen a talking head on MSCNNBCFOXMSMBS fear-mongering about the ever-present danger of “hate” groups that (GASP!) don’t worship the government as the holiest institution on the planet, then you know their work.
I’m referring to the Southern Poverty Law Center, a “nonprofit legal advocacy organization” that is “dedicated to fighting hate and bigotry and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society,” according to their self-congratulatory PR material. Founded in 1971 by a pair of civil rights lawyers, the SPLC prides itself on its “Hatewatch” and “Hate Map” projects, monitoring the rise of hate groups as they spread hate and hate across America.
Did I mention hate? Because that’s what the SPLC specializes in. Hate, I mean. Or monitoring hate. It’s hard to tell the difference sometimes.
Anyway, if you’re a dedicated listener to The Corbett Report, you’ll remember I did a podcast seven years ago exploding the myth of the SPLC as a crusading bunch of civil rights defenders volunteering their services across the South in their thankless pursuit of justice for the poor and downtrodden. In that episode I talked about Mark Potok (the “editor-in-chief of the SPLC’s award-winning, quarterly journal, the Intelligence Report and its investigative reports”), his relentless smearing of anyone and everyone who dares criticize the government (or, more specifically, the Democratic party), and his hatred of those vile conspiracy theorists who actively try to educate (GASP!) the people about the government’s misdeeds. I discussed the fact that the SPLC provides instructors and “training materials” to the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (presumably so they can better identify and strip the rights from aforementioned conspiracy theorists). And I even discussed the SPLC’s role in planting federal informants in “Elohim City,” the militia enclave that housed the government spook at the center of the OKC conspiracy.
But if you have listened to that episode (or if you do so now), you’ll find that the single most intriguing fact about the SPLC is their annual revenue and net asset holdings. Citing the most recent data available at that time (2010), I noted that the Center’s 2007 revenue was $44.7 million (on $20.8 million in program expenses) and their 2008 net assets totaled an unimaginable $170 million.
Yes, you read that correctly: $170 million. Not bad for a “nonprofit” legal advocacy group, hey?
But if you think that’s outrageous, just wait till you hear what that number is now. And wait till you hear what they’re doing with it.

I love to hate the SPLC.
They have nothing to do with Southern, Poverty or Law.
But they do seem to be in the Center of everything corrupt going on in the world.
Seeing as there is so much hate to go around the SPLC obviously needs more money to add to the growing war chest. And they can count on good friends. George and Amal Clooney just donated one million dollars to the SPLC. Why would a non profit foundation with 1/3 billion in monies and assets need a million dollars from the Clooney’s?

I usually wouldn’t bother, but in these articles small youtube comments section speak type of errors like these really stand out.

What’s really funny is that the commentators who make these errors are usually the grammar nazis in the threads. But, given the state of public indoctrination today, I almost don’t see them anymore. Not that I put that much effort in my own grammar in comment sections.
I try to write correctly and efficiently for everyone’s sake, but James’ articles have a literary face value, completely unrelated to the topic at hand. He strikes me as a person who puts stock on getting things done right, dotting the Is if you will.
That is true. I can’t see him just jotting things down all willy-nilly like I do. For me, writing isn’t a profession, it’s part of how I formulate an opinion. Also, in comment sections, I’m usually diving into a gaggle of stupid.

The grammar, spelling, insults, wild conspiracy ideas, etc. are sometimes in the twilight zone when it comes to the comment sections.
Sometimes I attribute it to Artificial Intelligence or software programs, sometimes to a “typo”, sometimes to Trolls and Sockpuppets, and sometimes to our education system.

I don’t think those comments on the give away video were a product of an AI. That’s just plain old human stupidity at work.
I did personally encounter some youtube commenters that did appear to be machine bots. They usually just dish out a load of insults to try and get you going without relating much to anything of what you wrote.

It’s a rerun of sort, but worth watching for the extra mellow. For extra points, try to attain comfort from realizing that you probably wouldn’t given a damn had that dumbass selfied his butt over the edge. Further to the point, the grand canyon could maybe be used as a test to split people into two categories: those who can survive the visit and those that are so far gone that they can’t.

So why single out the SPLC as if were the only co-opted or created NGO that does the work of the “one world order” plutocracy? Is there some sort of personal bias involved here? It is hard to even think of a single ‘do good’ NGO that is not doing the bidding of these plutocrats while at the same time fattening the bank accounts of their venal leadership. From the Sierra Club to the Tea Party and BLM, and on to the well known like USAID and NED, to the unknown covert creations for the transfer of funds, all are very illegitimate if their stories were to be told. If we were able to open the books of all the corporate Trusts and Foundations what might we find? That AntiFA and the White Nationalists are funded by the Soros’ Open Society Foundation for AntiFA while a plutocratic friend of Soros funds the white nationalists?
When D. Rockefeller coined the phrase, “Own nothing, control everything” he was speaking of being the directing beneficiary of Trusts and Foundations, and in his and his ilks case of immense sums stored in such legal entities for the advancement of their personal and collective interests.
While it is true they are not the only type of such group, they are a very important group. They have been behind so many events, so many smears, that they have earned the attention they’ve gathered. I place them right alongside the ADL for creating the hate they publicly decry.
So what’s your logic there, don’t expose one of the groups if you don’t plan to expose all of them?
Further, where is it implied in the article this is the one and only reprehensible NGO? There is a selection of related articles on this website which suggest the average subscriber/site visitor isn’t in any particular danger to get under such erroneous assumptions.

Great article James. The SPLC reminds me of the ADL (Anti-Defamation League, which was supposedly “fighting” Anti-Semitism) in the 90s. The ADL literally ran agents who infiltrated opposing “hate” groups like the Neo-Nazi’s and such and would cause bombings and killings so as to inflame the other side and perpetuate the anti-semitism it claimed to “fight against”. They were caught doing this numerous times. It wouldn’t surprise me if the Southern Poverty Law Center did the same (employs agent provacateurs, et al.)

In Germany the first law against hate speech has already been decided. I believe it comes into effect october.
It’s called Netzwerkdurchsetzungsgesetz, colloquially called Netzwerkzersetzungsgesetz, the latter meaning network decomposition (as in for the communist KGB/STASI strategy) law.
But we see the effects already.
Like the SPLC we have a major player here: Amadeu Antonio Foundation.
It had the same abnormal revenues. All the anti-gender, anti-leftists sites – most prominently probably sciencefiles.org – covered its shady activities over the last years.
It is considerably financed by a ministry of the government (BMFSJ).

Lots of people in the alternative German media call themselves now libertarian (though I doubt it is more than an ideology they appreciate now than a deep understanding) and so the libertarian spectrum is split for go voting or not voting (majority the former).

HNN (the Mercolas) featured an article naming google Gestapo-like and naming 400 websites etc. that are on googles (virtual) kill list, including corbettreport (though written wrong, but the links is correct), newsbud, lewrockwell and truthstreammedia, linking to a truthstream video.
That article is quite misleading. Those 400 links are not the sites G00gle doesn’t want you to visit but a list of sites the author assumes they don’t want you to visit.
Weatherwar101 doesn’t appear to be on the list.
