The humor and wit really grabbed me.
And there were all these little phrases, like “2nd hand cringe” and “Say it with me…”.
But, by golly, when Broc West came on the screen, my body went epileptic. I couldn’t control myself. I lost it. It was great!!!
Finally, after my laughter calmed, I had to rewind, so I could listen and watch through my watery blurred eyes.
I still chuckle when I recall those first moments when Broc appeared.
Anyway, thanks fellas for making this important episode. It covers a lot of ground.
Agreed. Great humor and great delivery from both James and Broc (aka: Talking Head – Worldwide Director of Prestigious Sounding Front Organization 😂).
As Internet memes and James’ own 9/11: A Conspiracy Theory have demonstrated (and his Laughing At Tyrants video has thoroughly pointed out), humor can be a really effective way of getting truth to people.
Come to think of it, James now has quite a collection of really well done clever humorous segments and he always nails the sarcasm.
Personally, I would love to see a “short”.

I like the Idea of a “Short” playing off the well circulated Propaganda (like the one in this Episode). It is kind of like AE911Truth.org “Debunking the Debunkers”, only with some humor.
Perhaps the most successful Trashing of the Main Stream Media “News” was when a Comedy Central show ran multiple segments of “So called” News Reporters from all over the country who were all repeating the same Scrip. It got to be funny after a dozen, or so, repeated the same thing. Few people watching the skit could deny that Main Stream “News” was indeed scripted, and Main Stream began losing viewers.
The latest “Novel Virus/Mystery Illness” has brought people back to the Propaganda Box, and thus exposed them to the likes of the “CBC How the talk to someone who is spreading COVID19 misinformation” (linked in the show Notes above). I have seen similar Propaganda in the States, and have seen people eat it up, yet one good “Short” would be about all it would take to break the programed hypnotic trance placed upon these poor unsuspecting lost souls.

People used to understand manipulation better, did they not? “Yellow Journalism,” I believe it was called. I’m guessing this “new” non-understanding of “un-truths” and/or “alternative facts” in our “post-truth” era is due to the indoctrination system and abundance of info-overload?
No. Reefer Madness is a great example of how easy it was/is to fool people.
For me there are some things that help determine if I am seeing propaganda or fake/twisted news:
Video clips actually showing what the person is saying, remaining conscious that clips can be selected to give a false impression. When the article provides a link to the whole video, it helps. I have seen many clips of what the president said taken out of context.
Pictures of documents, though I know some can be faked.
Also, being conscious of words characterizing the subject or person that suggest a particular viewpoint.
Weasel words are much harder to detect, but over time certain sources clearly use them consistently. For example, Obama said if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. He didn’t actually lie, but he did not say how LONG you could keep your doctor, which happened to not be very long.
Weasel statistics. Recently on one right wing news station they showed how police shootings of whites were maybe a couple of hundred greater than for blacks. True but misleading. The percentage of the population was not given, just the total number. Percentages would show a very different story.
Other times, I just have to remember the information and wait for other info to come out. So much on sites and TV is just click bait.
James , Adrienne Arsenault and the CBC and good examples of why the CBC News needs to be shut down and eliminated. It is 100 % pure Propaganda with as you say a ” cringe factor” that makes you feel ill.
Someone should forward this CBC investigative piece to Ms. Arsenault, so she can take the appropriate actions by cancelling her CBC feed, quitting her job, and alerting the authorities.

Funny how this doc is bookended by Prof. Francis Boyle warning against the dangers of the emerging bio-weapon arms race. Especially because Boyle was blacklisted by group-think journalism after assertions like these, despite the fact that he drafted the Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act of 1989, approved unanimously by Congress and signed into law by Poppy Bush.
FWIW, I sincerely wish that Boyle, following his awesome Great Game India interview, had come onto the Corbett Report, rather than spending hours with that Limbaugh-of-Independant-Thought, Alex Jones. Talk about a self-own. None-the-less, Boyle remains an important voice, and James, I really think you ought to consider having him on.

When James did his 1 in a hundred routine in which he mentioned someone with cognitive processes going to a fact checker my first thought was “what person with any cognitive processes would go there?”
However, I don’t think it’s a ridiculous strategy. They know their targets. The majority of net users stick to mainstream sources. And a significant portion never check out any news. Video games, TVs, etc. Most refuse to think at all. Sure we read dissent in the comment sections, but look at the views of the videos. Do they have tens and tens of millions of views? No. Maybe a million. And that’s rare. And of those, what percentage is sane and/or capable of rational thought? Just something to depress you with.

True. But if we weren’t in this pickle, I’d be spending my time jousting windmills. A person achieves more of their potential with a greater opposition. How much more opposition can we ask for? You can’t have heroes without villains.
Although such “fact checking authorities” fall under the logical fallacy argumentum ad verecundiam (argument from authority), logical fallacies are the most effective method of influencing the mass public, which is why logical fallacies is the native language of politicians.

It’s funny to listen to their debunking lies (the “fact checkers”)…in a way; but if you have ever been a target by a family member, co-worker, or friend to tell you that YOU are delusional and a “conspiracy theorist” (and much more choice words), you know this is not funny.
That happened to me on more than one occasion, And ALWAYS before I can state my argument with reliable sources. It’s like the little red light goes off in their head and immediately they go into action. Mind you, these are just average people like you and I, with no real benefit to shut out alternative views. It’s simply unadulterated brainwashing.

Truth Investigator
I had some ideas about making a fact checker.
But the most important goal is to help people with critical thinking.
So it is not a checker that says: Good or False.
It in investigator that helps you to see the problems in an article.
So you if you look deeper, you can learn from it.
And this gives far more value over a simple checker.
And based on the investigation we can come to a certain conclusion.
You can also see how other people investigate it.
Multiple investigations can be ordered in the most logical and most scientific
supported order.
With a different vote, all users can support their favorite conclusion
(which should always be Aliens).
There can also be a discussion board.
Common problems in short:
1) Logical fallacies:
Fallacies are a way to push to a conclusion without good reason.
a) Straw-man
b) Appeal to authority (“Experts say”)
2) Scientific method:
Can we determine what is scientifically certain?
a) What is the evidence?
Can the evidence be interpreted differently?
b) What is possible and what else is possible?
How can we check which one is correct?
c) Are the parameters/circumstances the same?
What conditions are important?
d) Can everything be understood from the conclusions?
3) Crime investigation:
a) Just one witness, or biased witnesses.
b) follow the money
(Or other resources)
c) Motives? Emotions?
This is not about mind reading, but placing yourself in the same situation.
What do they want? And/or what do they feel?
Is there evidence for that?
d) Did the witnesses or experts lie about something important?
4) Your own Bias
a) What do you want to be true or false? What are your feelings about it?
b) Can you feel calm about it? (if not, also check with someone who is calm)
c) Do you come to the same conclusion if you approach it from the other side?
d) Can you understand why people would come to another conclusion without lying?
5) Unknowns
Sometimes we simply don’t know what happened exactly.
And sometimes we only know a part of what happened.
Just list the things that are important, but you don’t know for certain.
Sure there a some folks who don’t know how to go about crosschecking information and could benefit from a lesson. The dangerous crux of the mass hypnosis is that most are too lazy to look deeper than the headline and get more empowerment out of reaction than out of discussion. The ones who care about the truth and integrity are already here and other alternative sites.

My plan is that People that want to

And this will increase the quality of the investigations.
After a while, people may feel stupid for using
the normal fact-checkers, that always dumb
down the answers and are so often wrong.
If I see something that looks really startling, I generally check the sources. Usually it doesn’t take long. But sometimes you find deliberate disinformation.
A few months ago, just as the coronavirus craziness was starting to take off, I stumbled across a really convoluted piece of disinfo. I was searching for something on Facebook, and I came across a headline saying that the UK government was preparing to send in the military. It was being shared on the Facebook pages of Labour Party offshoots, by political activists, not “your granny” or “your credulous uncle”. This is the link to the piece:

Yes, the World Socialist Web Site. What astonished me was the lengths the author had gone to to make it appear that it came from a credible source. The piece sourced the Mail on Sunday, but it was actually cobbled together from at least three different articles, none of which came from the Mail on Sunday, and each bit of truth was threaded together with stuff that had clearly been made up.
It took me a while to work out what was going on, because when I cut and pasted a piece of the text, and ran it into an online search, it did relate to a source, but the more sensationalist claims didn’t.
The article was also being shared by bloggers who clearly hadn’t bothered to check the sources.
It really annoys me that this kind of stuff has a kind of credibility with political activists who pride themselves on their education and intellect, while the highly-sourced work of independent investigative journalists is condescendingly dismissed as “fake”.

I can attest to what Derrick states.
I virtually put everything on the “Dallas For Safer Water” website.
During the course of adding to the website over the years, I repeatedly ran into this Nazi Germany Fluoride Canard.
I searched and searched and searched to find an actual valid source with documentation which substantiates the claims.
I never could find anything of substance.
It is very difficult to try to find something which is not there, which is non-existent.
I would cringe when an activist would mention the Nazi Germany Fluoride Canard to the media, or directly to the Dallas City Council, or in the comments of the newspaper.

Definition – a false or unfounded report, rumor, belief or story. A fabricated report.

One thing you didn’t mention, but I think is important, is how whenever there is a verifiable, documented “Conspiracy” that is proven fact – such as Operation Northwoods, Operation Paperclip, Operation Mockingbird, the Tuskegee Experiments, or MK Ultra, the “Fact Checkers” are suspiciously silent about it. Go ahead and type any of the above terms into the search bar on sNopes and you will get only tangentially related search results even though there is declassified official documentation proving them all to be real. You’d think if they were objective sources of truth they should confirm whenever the US government or big business is caught conspiring against the populace.

This is what we know: Infant deaths are often dismissed as SIDS, infants usually go to the doctor for shots every couple months and have not been during the pandemic, and “virtually the entire change came from infantsâ€. Lower deaths in general could be attributed to less car accidents, but this is about the disproportionately smaller number of infant deaths.

Mortality decline happened in age group 1 month-1 year, otherwise unfortunates most heavily attacked by vaccines (infants with immune system under construction).
Read carefully:
“We have no specific data on the trend in SIDS deaths during the pandemic. We have, however, heard anecdotal reports from emergency room(ER)doctors suggesting some have observed a decline in SIDS. One doctor who say she might see 3 cases of SIDS in a typical week has seen zero cases since the pandemic and associated lockdowns began.”
SIDS= Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, sudden death of previously healthy infant that could be result, “side effect”, of vaccination (30% of infants 1m-1y mortality).
Strange, how they don’t have data, for any death person cause of death has to be known. They say no reason why is so and immediately start supporting their narrative with anecdotal data.
Make your own conclusion.

I appreciate that they took the time to collect this data and am not too surprised they included these anecdotes, since it’s coming from a biased health choice org after all. SIDS data would be helpful here. I reached out to the people who put this together to see if they’re digging deeper. Haven’t heard back yet, but I’ll keep you posted if I get more info.
Many of us suspect there is causation, and so far the data seems to support that, but we still don’t know. I hope we can get to the bottom of this soon now that we finally have the opportunity!

vaccines are given together with a proper dose of some deadly poison, with the optimistic view, that the immune system would be woken by the poison, because immune systems do not by themselves react to small quantities of weakened or killed bacteria or viruses. without the poison no immunity would result.

actually, what the link above says about vitamin-c may work out two ways in the current situation. on the one hand people get scared by the pandemic narrative, which takes away their vitamin-c, as fear is an important stressor. as a result, breast feeding mothers may have less c in their milk and more sids will happen.
on the other hand, it seems the idea of taking vitamin-c under these circumstances is becoming wide spread, so even with the same level of vaccinations, there could be less sids babies. it’s funny how the world changes all the time.
if the breast feeding mother takes a few grams of c a day, the baby will be safe. of course feeding your children poison is not attractive at all, so better do not vaccinate. but if you were forced into it, god forbids, take your precautions.
for babies that are not breast fed, but still vaccinated, dr.klenner advises 500mg a day to start with and after that an extra gram a day for every year of age up to age ten.

Well, you know how we rednecks mangle every word we speak!
If you blindly believe every other thing that comes your way, you’re guaranteed to have a false view of the world.
And if you require 100% verifiable, concrete, court-admissible evidence in order to give any consideration to any new piece of information, you’re still guaranteed to have a false view of the world, since it’s pretty easy for the psychopaths in power to carry out their agendas without leaving a lot of that sort of evidence laying around.
Conspiracy/truth research is essentially always about degrees of probability rather than clear-cut FACT or FAKE.
And the more we research, the better we get at accurately assigning degrees of probability; the better we get at recognizing patterns, identifying cues and detecting bullshit.
In other words, as a conspiracy/truth researcher, there are going to be extremely likely truths that you are aware of but which you won’t be able to prove to someone else (unless you’ve mastered Vulcan mind melding).
Though the Michael Shermer disciples and other coincidence theorists of the world would detest the very thought of it, the fact of the matter is that conspiracy/truth researchers like James have a very special advanced skill that they don’t have; a skill for identifying truth; a skill that — like painting or violin playing — is established and mastered with time and effort, not instantly bestowed at birth or upon turning 18, or upon graduating high school or college.
I’ve found my research training while studying history has been invaluable. Though there is so much information out there that it is impossible to keep up!

Hmmmm. So with “Real News” they say “Editorial board and writers are disclosed”. So that doesn’t include the writers of most medical news on the BBC. You cannot get this information. You certainly can’t contact them with a public opinion, even in your own field of expertise.
I’d say the other hallmark of real news is CORRESPONDENCE. They allow for readers and viewers to write openly and provide new information that may show things in a different light. In fact this is probably the ONLY solid guide to what is real news and what is not. And moreover, unlike, say, Gates Notes, they don’t censor the feedback (although they may edit for brevity or limited space)
Is there any mainstream media that’s truthful? I just figure they’re all playing to their own agendas and don’t give a hoot about facts. It’s not like the msm has reporters (people that go find the truth and report it), they have news readers.
Not a single one. And as someone who has been on the scene in which reporters are present; I can say they are overwhelmingly the most obnoxious, self-serving, lying group of people I’ve ever met.

I would like to clarify something about the importance of speed in warfare. It is one of the most decisive elements to victory. Even with a foolhardy plan. But it does offer us some opportunities.
First; it is still going to take a lot more time to implement your strategy when you are dealing with an entire country or region. This gives us some time.
Second; the very speed the state is using will alert many people who are presently sleeping. Though I doubt a whole lot more from now on. However, there will be a marked increase in the number of those who are aware, but are just keyboard warriors, to start becoming more determined to make a stand. The very notion of a substantial portion of a population prepared to fight back is a real deterrent. The only effective one. However, the state (and I mean every state buying into this crap. Belarus apparently ain’t drinking the Flavor-Aid. Happy Jeb?
But this determination might make all the difference. And I know liberty will win. But we’re definitely going to lose a lot of stupid people either way. And the rest of the many ranges.

-Case fatality rates are actually VERY low, esp <65 y/o, no different from the Flu in the US (in Japan Flu fatalities were 10X than Covid).

Yes, I have it on my Android 7.0 Japanese version. To use it, it says I have to enable Bluetooth and location info, guess I’ll make sure those are off. Seems optional….for now.

They are if you have the GPS and Bluetooth activated. I have neither. Not that I suffer from any illusions that that can’t be easily rectified. But I’m not that important. well, what i know is that the RT PCR is not meant for diagnostics indeed, it is usually used to determine the viral load of a virus that has already been isolated, mapped and identified, and not to diagnose itss existence. so i would not be surprised if it says so in the product information.

Well, the CDC just crashed the educational system. Thanks to Ron Paul’s homeschool newsletter for this. While he says it’s a boon for homeschooling, he failed to note it was intentional. Do I have facts to back this up? No. But I do know the system is being purposely crashed. Do I have any facts to prove the global societal crash is being done on purpose? No. But I do know that facts change all the time. One day that tree is a tree, the next it’s a set of frequencies. Truth transcends facts. But I digress.
This is not unmitigated good news. Families are growing a bit tense. And people have grown so attached to this system that they can’t even imagine another. Child abuse is going to skyrocket. And while I think it’s going to be an improvement, the majority of children are going to suffer even more for a while.
School will never be the same. Whether parents like it or not, they need to pick between homeschool or sending their kids to day prison. Unfortunately the negative stereotypes of homeschool are strong, and the way they imagined raising kids is so ingrained in their minds, so I doubt as many will homeschool as we hope. Like you said, they are too attached to the system and can’t imagine another way. Plus everyone is in denial. They don’t realize that changes accepted for any period of time will likely become permanent.
I wish Elon Musk would talk more about the way he “homeschools†his kids, so working parents might be inspired to follow a similar model.
Many parents are not in position to choose, since both parents have to work for survival and kids go to kindergarten a.k.a. school.
I think good school (probably very hard to find and then also to pay) is better than homeschooling.

Elon created a small “homeâ€school for his kids and a few other families. It’s called Ad Astra. They hired a teacher of their choice and employ the curriculum of their choice. I’d call it “group unschoolâ€. He does not sit with them at the kitchen table going over worksheets (and neither do most homeschool families!).
I’m in the SF Bay Area where there are tons of great drop-off programs for homeschoolers. It is definitely possible for working parents to create a personalized school experience for their kids while working. It takes a little research and some work to set up, but given the alternative, I’d say it’s worth it!

On dealing with fake news, propaganda and fact checking,I would appreciate your thoughts on the concept of solipsism, and how it is marketed to the masses, specifically how it proposes that the whole truth (outside of one’s self) is unknown and unknowable. I think that this concept is very relevant to this discussion! THEY wish for us to believe that to know the truth is impossible or at least too difficult so that we will just give up and give in to the propaganda.

Thanks. It’s an interesting read. Obviously it’s being written for a state purpose, but it’s interesting, for sure. The matter of Polish villainy is raised. Someone writing from another political angle might raise the villainy of Benes and the Czechs. And so on and so on. Sure there’s patriotic hogwash mixed with the patriotism, but at least Putin and/or his writers show some capacity for thought and for context. Of course, talk of retrieving material from Soviet archives is as much a threat as a show of scholarly curiosity.
How quickly we forget what doesn’t fit the script. We forget that Mongolian war between the Soviets and Japan which ended just two days before Stalin invaded Poland (fashionably late, for the sake of Western sensibilities). If I only knew three years ago when, at work I slammed my Ipad to a desk corner. It told me I was locked out, not so said I. For me, one key piece of information or useful video would be to provides Tips or a strategy to stop the disinformation about the number of people that tested positive for Covid-19. We are now in June and the test being used has still not be validated by the Koch postulates. Unless a new more “deadly” virus comes along, the number of “positive” (should I say false positive) tests will be used to justify a second wave, Phone App tracing, and, ultimately, the “go back to normal” vaccine. This is, in my humble opinion, the key element on which to bring “real information” at this time.
Also, don’t forget that seasonal illnesses have infection/death counts reset during the summer. Which makes sense, because the flue season ends when the winter ends. Will we see the statistical charade adhere to this simple principle?

Hi James, im not sure if youve already seen this but i figured I’d post anyway since this is happening in our own backyard. Im a legal gun owner in Canada and the recent gun grab (done with emergency powers) by Trudeau with just the stroke of a single pen has me more than worried. The language on the face of it makes it seem like theyre just trying to ban ar15’s but when you look at what was actually signed under technical definitions and confirmed by rcmp, they have also now effectively banned the most widely used hunting gun in history. The language “guns with a 20mm bore or greater” has now made the ownership of 12ga shotguns with removable chokes (most modern ones have these) illegal and subject to theyre costly buy back program. This is concerning enough by itself in light of the recent clamp down globally, however its now been revealed by macleans magazine that the shooter may have indeed been an undercover agent. Im hoping we can dig into this before the gun grab takes full effect, heres hoping the power of open source journalism can shed some light on this incredibly pivotal situation.

As usual, James has elevated my paradigm from a hodgepodge of suspicions to an orderly set of credible beliefs. This report is a masterpiece. The fact-checker strain of disinformation affirmation must go way back. Even the Athenians would have been grateful for a transcript of Propaganda Watch.
Information comes my way through the Corbett Report, NYT, Washington Post, Rachel Maddow, and slightly left-leaning sources that would make Karl proud. Many well-regarded newspapers include facts, but bury them deep in the story. Rachel Maddow is the most entertaining cable news host (since Keith Olbermann semi-disappeared) and my favorite MSNBC personality until she touted the Pentagon’s fantastical 9/11 comic book. The souls of the in-crowd have a price, and media stars must have sold theirs for a job and multimillion-dollar salary. I would do the same for far less.
My eye-opener was Operation Mockingbird, the CIA’s insertion of operatives in to media outlets to print all the news that fits. “Lie†is such an ugly and overused pejorative. The government’s story guardians don’t lie sometimes, they mostly transform above-boiling truths into sub-tepid parables that comply with corporate rules of etiquette. Notably, the spy agency has NEVER DENIED the rumor that fact non-checkers accomplish their mission armed only with an office near the editing room and scissors.

As my readers know, I’ve been reporting on new types of technology that could be used in a coming COVID-19 vaccine—and warning about the consequences.
One such technology is: DNA vaccines. They would alter recipients’ genetic makeup permanently.
But Reuters has seen fit to claim: “A future COVID-19 [DNA] vaccine will not genetically modify humans.†This comes from their “fact-check team†— May 18, 2020: “False claim: A COVID-19 vaccine will genetically modify humans.â€
To reach this conclusion, Reuters cites two people: “Mark Lynas, a visiting fellow at Cornell University’s Alliance for Science groupâ€, and “Dr. Paul McCray, Professor of Pediatrics, Microbiology, and Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa.â€
I have cited the New York Times, March 10, 2015, “Protection Without a Vaccine.†Here are quotes from the Times article:
“By delivering synthetic genes into the muscles of the [experimental] monkeys, the scientists are essentially re-engineering the animals to resist disease.â€
“’The sky’s the limit,’ said Michael Farzan, an immunologist at Scripps and lead author of the new study.â€
“The first human trial based on this strategy — called immunoprophylaxis by gene transfer, or I.G.T. — is underway, and several new ones are planned.†[That was five years ago.]
“I.G.T. is altogether different from traditional vaccination. It is instead a form of gene therapy. Scientists isolate the genes that produce powerful antibodies against certain diseases and then synthesize artificial versions. The genes are placed into viruses and injected into human tissue, usually muscle.â€
[Here is the punch line] “The viruses invade human cells with their DNA payloads, and the synthetic gene is incorporated into the recipient’s own DNA. If all goes well, the new genes instruct the cells to begin manufacturing powerful antibodies.â€
So it’s a battle of the experts. The two men Reuters cited, versus the Times’ David Baltimore.
The verdict on the Reuters fact-check team? Fact-checkers checked the wrong box.
Final point for the moment: Researchers are fond of saying their genetic technologies are quite safe. This a bald-faced lie. Claiming, for example, that a DNA COVID vaccine would alter humans’ genetic makeup in entirely predictable and harmless ways is like saying a car without brakes, doing a hundred miles an hour, set loose on a highway during rush hour, would create no damage whatsoever.

I came across the debunked version when a person close to me sent me back the debunk article to an article about a leaked document from a whistle blower in the German Interior Ministry that concluded that covid19 was a global false alarm event with continued failed measures and dire consequences.
However, the release of the 93p ‘Corona Papier’ document was quickly hushed up by the German Federal Ministry and news outlets by calling it as the personal opinion of an employee who used the Ministry’s letterhead. Although the scientists and MDs who helped compile the data for the analysis/report asked for a response from the German government in a press release, this release remains essentially ignored and unrecognized by the MSM(*) and the Health Feedback Debunking site (*) with the exception of RT! https://deutsch.rt.com/inland/102396-umstrittene-bmi-analyse-wissenschaftler-kritisieren/).
Interesting, in that one clip with the attractive woman with the print dress and the British accent, that governments, tech companies and media regulators are responsible for what happens to a story that is deemded to be fake news.
This is the crux of the problem. Who made them the arbiters of Truth? Who made them the standard by which Truth is determined?
If people won’t see this as a real problem, then all hope is lost. People don’t want to think anymore.
I certainly don’t know everything, but I’m willing to entertain many possibilities as to what is true and what is not. Above all, I live by what conforms to reality.
