Episode 192 – Requiem for the Suicided: Dr. David Kelly

06/25/201117 Comments

Famed microbiologist and UN weapons inspector Dr. David Kelly became the centre of a dispute between the BBC and the UK government over claims that the government had “sexed up” its dossier on Saddam’s weapons of mass destruction in order to sell the Iraq war to the public. He was found dead on Harrowdown Hill on July 18, 2003. It was ruled a suicide. Today we look at the troubling discrepancies, inconsistencies and questions surrounding that official verdict, and broach the question of what secrets Dr. Kelly may have taken to the grave…

The YouTube link for the Anthrax War documentary at shownotes time reference 59:53 no longer works. The following YouTube link appears to be a new URL for the same video.

In light of the fact that this video has just (May 17, 2017) been revived by video editor Broc West as an “Extra” video (thanks, Broc!) it might be worth noting my conversation with Dr. David Halpin from later in 2011:

A Requiem for the Suicided (Unexplained Murdered?) for Seth Rich, would be very timely with the MSM continuing the Russiagate nonsense.

  4. Pablo de Boer says:

    Hola aloha señor James,

Dr David Kelly is not only employee / scientist for chemicaland biological weapons research at Porton Down, near Salisbury, who died under suspicious circumstances.

WMD expert killed in plane crash

A scientist working on weapons of mass destruction at a top-secret government laboratory has died in a plane crash, it emerged today.
Almost a year to the day after weapons expert Dr David Kelly was found dead, Dr Paul Norman was identified as the pilot of a plane that crashed in Devon.

Dr Norman, 52, was chief scientist for chemicaland biological weapons research at Porton Down, near Salisbury.

So many deaths of scientists. The death of so many creative minds… creative because the design of experiments for good science is an art as well.

That article about the death of microbiologists, from Pablo de Boer’s post:

    http://asheepnomore.net/2014/01/11/list-dead-microbiologists/

contained something else for me, concerning #56 Thomas Gold. A book review dated 3 years before Gold’s death broadly explains the topic of my interest, although further research suggests that he plagiarized and in fact misrepresented the science from the original work done in the USSR.

I add a teaser from an article on abiotic oil:

“This story really begins in 1946, just after the close of World War II, which had illustrated quite effectively that oil was integral to waging modern, mechanized warfare.

Stalin, recognizing the importance of oil, and recognizing also that the Soviet Union would have to be self sufficient, launched a massive scientific undertaking that has been compared, in its scale, to the Manhattan Project.

The goal of the Soviet project was to study every aspect of petroleum, including how it is created, how reserves are generated, and how to best pursue petroleum exploration and extraction.”

  6. Has anyone any ideas about why famous director Tony Scott committed suicide? Was he on bad medication? Did he regret his propaganda? Personal problems? Fatal diagnosis? Guilt? While I’d love to see a Corbett Report on it, I’d also be happy to look at other recommended material.

(Sorry this is a repeated comment from on a more recent report, then I realized this might be a better place for it.)

  10. Off topic:

    = 9/11 Distractions =
It’s never too soon to start planning episodes for another 9-11 around the corner.
Whether orchestrated media events (Hillary’s sunstroke?) or problems around the world (Benghazi), there will always be something on this great globe to distract us from the SIX events of Sept 2001 (including the critical Anthrax Attacks to silence and cover up).
I recommend making an episode that some news media event will be over inflated to distract from real retrospective analysis. A summary of many of the so-called scandals, news, etc. and the sub-layer of real events that weren’t sensationalized would be great. OJ, Diana’s death, Clinton’s BJ, etc. all overlapped and overshadowed countless events that were far more critical then – as now. I don’t recall exactly but I think it may be worse today than ever.
