Crime Pays (If You’re in Government)

10/14/201816 Comments

“The weed of crime bears bitter fruit. Crime does not pay. The Shadow knows!”

Perhaps you’re old enough to remember this tag line from the 1930s radio dramatization of The Shadow. Or perhaps, like me, you spent your childhood listening to “Those Old Radio Shows” on your local radio station before going to bed every night. Or perhaps you’re only familiar with Woody Allen’s retort that “I think crime pays. The hours are good, you travel a lot.”

But however you encountered the “crime does not pay” formulation, you’ve doubtless heard it and internalized it. Of course it’s true. Crime doesn’t pay and the good guys always win in the end. Right?

Well, let’s examine this old adage for a moment. Why is it necessary to point out the poor remuneration of crime in the first place? We generally don’t go around pointing out things that are self-evidently true or just plain common sense, so there must be some reason people need to be reminded that crime is not a profitable endeavor. And that reason can only be that many people believe it to be rewarding, financially or otherwise.

So why would they think that?

Sadly, one does not look very far to understand why people need to be constantly told that “crime does not pay.” And that is because crime does, in fact, pay. Quite handsomely, in fact. . . . if you’re in government.

We all know that government is a den of crooks . . . but there’s no harm in refreshing our memory now and then, is there? Join James for this week’s The Corbett Report Subscriber where he breaks down the government racket and how it works to line the pockets of the politicians. That’s a nice list of criminals and crimes, but I would add to it the servants in the MSM who toe the line and do as they’re told in order to manufacture consent or maintain the psychopathic status quo.

Ocationally we get to see the collusion and and far reaching planning that go into a Manhattan Project for the twenty first century. First to mention this is the fourth time to enter this comment. It just hiccups and goes away. Vigilantly we work through it.
In the MSM Birkshire-Halfway news paper we read here , the Tulsa world, Ginny Graham had a piece that past the editorial board. Titled ” Cannabis could be Oklahoma next big cash crop”.
The piece has dot connections with the story that is not being told. I believe it illustrates the covert military long range complicit actions of University’s and NGOs for profit and covert coverage.
What I find has nothing to do with cannabis and all to do in support of war on terror to the heartland, population reduction , disaster capitalism, and weather as a force multiplier.
Dr. Tom Coon, vice president of OSUs division of agricultural sciences, states; “Right now, we don’t have a soil chemist and haven’t had one in past three years. The state receives $5.5 billion of revenue on payment for livestock and gets about $2 billion from wheat. Those are crops I’ve really got to be addressing. I have some really critical needs”. Ginny Graham states in the artical that OSU is not addressing the multi billion cannabis industry because the ” state budget cuts have made…that impossible… In the past three years, the division (OSU) has been cut by $13.5 million and lost 60 faculty members.”
Do the math! Billions$ not equal to $13.5 millions… The people who would be doing the analysis of spikes in particulates of metals in air , plant and soil are not there to even answer the question. I would imagine that the same thing has gone on in the whether depts.at OU. If no one hears the tree fall than the tree never fell. Thats our situation here in the heartland where TPTSB work in plain sight and don’t care when one of the payed MSM propagandists and payed racketeer agents at Unervesity get loose with the truth.

Institutionalized crime indeed does pay. People get into politics (those who don’t go through revolving doors) with next to nothing and 4 to 8 years later manage to get nicely settled for life. And the immediate family along with them. Bribes are just the icing on the cake.

There is no mafia like the government.

I agree. It is so rampant and insane that it becomes incredulous, hard to believe.

    Right on James…
Canadian example on Food and Health…Dr. Shiv Chopra blew the whistle on the rBgh growth hormone in Canadian milk that Health Canada wanted to approve and under oath to the Senate committee in 1998-99 told them that other areas of the Health Canada ACT were not being obeyed. Dr. Chopra was fired in 2004 and wrote a book in 2009, “Corrupt to the Core – Memoirs of a Health Canada Whistleblower” naming names and no one sued him, but no one went to jail from Health Canada. The Civil Service union and Dr. Chopra took it to court and 14 years later and $10 million dollars spent by the Feds, found Dr. Chopra guilty by 3 judges of ‘insubordination’ on Sept 7, 2017. The other 3 scientists with the same charges were exonerated. All 4 Prime Ministers from Jean Chretien to Justin Trudeau could have exonerated Whistleblower Dr. Shiv Chopra and they didn’t. That shows who your Prime Minister’s are working for….

    Gosh!
I really enjoyed reading Corbett’s Crime Pays (If You’re in Government).
I had fun and chuckled through different parts.
Listening to parts of past radio shows brought back some old-time warmth, even reminding me to eat my Kellogg’s corn flakes.

Get a load of all the descriptives lined up like machine gun fire!
    Whew! What a winner!
“…You know, the rabidly bloodthirsty warmongering neocon who the mouthpiece lapdog fake news lying establishment bankster-funded corporate dinosaur lamestream media fell over themselves to hail as one of the greatest statesman who ever lived after his recent death?

But I did need to look up words again, like “encomia”.
Oh…I guess this is an encomium.

  8. Octium says:

“…the cancer of criminality will eventually kill the host that it’s invading”

I think that is a key point. Much like cancer it takes over critical functions of the host and there is a stage where you can no longer just chop off the cancerous piece and still survive.

For example, many people become dependant on “social security” because they have had everything stolen from them by government at critical stages in their lives.

I think the only way out is try to become self sufficient, go off grid and let the host along with all of its sycophants snuff it.

MARGIN CALL: Why The Next Market Crash Will Be Worse Than Anticipated
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k138M0s182M

Mike gives a little overview of what he’s been talking lately, mostly the “Buffet” indicator. The most interesting bit is about the small brokerage accounts, the dreaded “no margin” option for which Mike puts in a historical perspective.

    One of the comments

Then the Brokers realized they can lend out any shares their customers hold in a Margin account to Short Sellers at interest! Understand why they changed now? Very few can get approved for naked Shorting of Stocks. They must be able to deliver shares to the buyer of their short sale, even though they don’t actually own the shares they deliver! The Short seller then buys back someone else’s shares, hopefully at a lower price, and delivers them back to your Margin account and you are none the wiser. ;^)

    • HomeRemedySupply says:

That is an interesting comment that was made.
What a wild ride on a “credit based monetary system”.

With the Fed raising interest rates, the stock market recently has been confused and uncertain.
Mike often spruiks silver. It looks like silver might be turning towards an upward direction, reversing a long downtrend.

I modified the title of the video because his name is quite easy to misspell and people fall into that trap. According to his facebook page, or what seems like his facebook page, what I wrote above should be correct.

    • generalbottlewasher says:

Ishmahil Blagrove ! What an inspiration for a young man to think so clearly. Not one in a hundred thousand men think that way here in the fruited plains. Sorry if that is too raw for you USA patriots but tell and know the truth. Reality is made of such stuff. Thank you Mkey!

It seems to me that the Israel will invade some states, likely even
Syria, with the help of the US.
In the mean time the war with Russia and China will stay “cold” to ensure maximum profits.
