The first thought that crossed my mind when I heard on the radio that Al-BadGuyDi had been killed was, “Oh, that name sounds familiar, I must duck-duck-go him when I get home to find how many times he has been killed before? – If James doesn’t beat me to it” 🙂

    • HomeRemedySupply says:

My thought too when I saw the news. “…how many times he has been killed before?”
Glad Corbett sewed all these past stories together which highlights the government’s playbook modus operandi.

It is very convenient that Al-BadGuyDi got blown to smithereens.
I guess the CIA playbook has that “no body” script in their Chapter on “Making up and killing fake bogeymen.”

  2. hugo.c says:

    Wonderful, as ever, James.

Pepe Escobar has a nice piece on this too:

    https://consortiumnews.com/2019/10/28/caliph-closure-he-died-like-a-dog/

He doesn’t take this apart as fiercely as you, but I expect he wants to be able to publish in various journals. He does plenty of wink-wink, nudge-nudge though 🙂

    His conclusion:

‘The “died as a dog” movie can also be interpreted as the liquidation of a formerly useful asset that was a valued component of the gift that keeps on giving, the never-ending Global War on Terror.’

    Which rather similar to yours.

    • hugo.c says:

Actually, the whole Bagdadi thing is a theatre piece to give Trump a victory as the US MIC/CIA have to admit a defeat in Syria, wherein the Russia/Syria/Iran alliance is completing the defeat of the US/Saudi/Qatar/Isreal funded insurgency.

There is a victory for the CIA here too; the recent “release” of lots of their ISIS proxy forces from the prisons in NE Syria. Thus, they can transform into another terror monster and keep the whole forever-war running along.

  3. BenWah says:

Anyone have a link or a screenshot of the 2006 WAPO article mentioned in here about how ISIS was a psy-op?

    The Oil in Syria

President Trump’s Special Sunday 9am (Oct 27) Announcement
    QUEUED VIDEO
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QaUzWFKc30&feature=youtu.be&t=25m7s
(25 minute mark)Trump says: “…The Oil is so valuable!… …we should be able to take some also….”
Then around the 39 minute mark, Trump again talks about securing the oil. “…Now I will secure the oil, that happens to be in a certain part. But that’s tremendous money involved…”

  5. pearl says:

Don’t know about you, but I’m bursting with anticipation for the movie release. I hope it’ll be as exciting as watching the dour heroine pace and sulk in Zero Dark Thirty.

  6. black sheep says:

” Quite an amazing career, one would have to admit”

    Bwahahaha.
    Yes one would.

Dumped in the ocean 2.0, also…

  7. SubArcticHoarder says:

Biometric and DNA tests were presumed to have authenticated the identification, but I’m fairly certain that it was merely his passport being found on top of the rubble after the vest went off.

  8. Ukdavec says:

    Hi James

  9. Mielia says:

I want to be critical of one thing. In the older reports and now repeated.
The name issue of this Baghdadi guy.
As far as I remember there exists a name giving tradition, especially among deeply religious muslims or fundamentalists and supposed ones like this guy.
When the first son is born the men change their names to
    Abu name of son
Abu meaning father, so the new name is now father of [name son]
al Baghdadi probably only means ‘from Baghdad’ or ‘the Baghdadian’.

So therefore multiple people with the name Baghdadi.
Depending on the frequency of the custom and the name Bakr there obviously could exist thousands (or only one) of Abu Bakr al Baghdadis.
So yes, them – somewhat honoring or admiring – using his new name instead of always one and the supposed only old name is purposefully idiotic.

the dailymail link Watching the Baghdadi raid in the Situation Room
    does not work for me
ah and the wiki link for Obama neither

I also found it curious that the only source for the Russian statement I could find is from Reuters and sputnik (RIA)
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-mideast-crisis-baghdadi-russia-commen-idUSKBN1X60J4 (those two people have no tweets regarding this, was apparently not that important)

This site (never heard of before) was the only one who has a link to a video statement (in Russian, no subtitles or translation so can’t understand/say anything about it)
    https://www.towleroad.com/2019/10/russia-isis/
“…Kremlin-controlled Russian state media shot down President Trump’s announcement, with headlines that read: “The Russian Defense Ministry does not believe in al-Baghdadi’s liquidation.”…” linking to https://www.vesti.ru/videos/show/vid/815486/

  10. sherry.a says:

Oh the irony of it all….here in California I hazard to wonder how many can find Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria on the map….the population is kept on their knees with everyday life….struggling with jobs, health debacles and now in California the menacing fires that have displaced so many people…the privatized utility serving Northern California with impunity shuts electricity off…as homes collapse and people lose life savings…the President may feel good about his announcement but scratching my head who is listening….they are totally in a bubble detached from reality…we are so propagandized that have yet to run into one Californian who thinks of protesting and holding their government officials accountable for ‘this is the new normal’ (shutting electric off for as long as they wish), evacuating people and utility companies with eyes on profits leaving phone messages for consumers..’We are thinking of you…get your medications from the pharmacy before your power is shut’….what words in what language can analyze a crumbling Empire?

    • HomeRemedySupply says:

      sherry.a says:
(California situation) “… scratching my head… …‘this is the new normal’….”

    • generalbottlewasher says:

Sherry.a, that California lifestyle will be even harder if what the Liberty Report is reporting today, should it be implemented and goes through into practice. California will be a top pick for the roll out.

  11. decti says:

Not to spoil your wallowing in war stories but….

The Russians claimed to have killed Baghdadi [sp] so DOES THAT MAKE HIM MORE REAL than all the failed attempts by the US military?

or were the Russians feeding us lies as well… but then if they do that, why should we put as much credence AS YOU DID in their purported absence of noticing any US activity officially. [as if that contradicted Trump who said the Russians would co-operate..]

There are times when your logic does seem to favor bias. ttyl

    • flammable says:

The Russian military statement was never that they definitely killed Baghdadi. It was that they THINK they killed him and they later reported it was not Baghdadi. That is different from the other US reported deaths of Baghdadi where it was immediately confirmed Baghdadi died but years later he was reported to have died again after having been confirmed dead the first time.

  12. Mintaka says:

The Great Zionist Wurlitzer seems to have a bad vinyl record with the needle stuck.

Seriously, it’s just unbelievable – not to mention laughable – how pathetically childish this propaganda actually is. As James said, who still believes in these fairy tales?
Remember that childish presentation by Bibi Netanyahu some time ago, drawing cartoon-ish bombs and showing us racks full of “intelligence” (where he pulls back this curtain that covers it), supposedly gathered by his Mossad?

This gives you a good clue where this utter Al-Baghdadi nonsense is coming from.
May also explain why – occasionally – even the Russians jump on that bandwagon, if it suits their situation at the time. As it does for the US now with elections coming up for Trojan Trump.

Will someone please unplug that Wurlitzer, perhaps PG&E can help. No?

  13. revan says:

Am I the only one that thinks Trumps is trolling a little. The way he gave details about the mission. Suppose you look at movie and the president talks as a little boy who tells about his father having done I-don’t-know-what. Do you think it is a good movie, realistic? Same people that puppet Greta Thunberg seem to be directing here as well.
What will happen to the men that executed the mission?

    • manbearpig says:

“What will happen to the men that executed the mission?”

      A very laudable concern.

But where the Osama drama was actually played out to some extent, and so eye-witness extras had to subsequently be eliminated,

from the Russian’s testimony, I’m not sure anything at all was enacted in this Bagdadi Halloween hoax,
so no post-party “clean-up” work to do?

I haven’t followed this story so I could be way off base.

Had to get outta Syria in a hurry to avoid them crazy Turks?
Thinking about returning for that precious oil, now things have quieted down again? How to shake off the bad publicity after abandoning the Kurds?
Hey! How about resurrecting that Al Bagdaddy bogeyman for another blockbuster Daring Special Forces Night Raid through Enemy Territory? Yeah! Team America! Hell Yeah!

  16. janp says:

Since the 2016 election, it has become apparent to me that when something comes out of Washington D.C. it is often theater. Sad but it appears to be the case.

  17. Mark K. P. says:

Amid so much confusion one thing is certain in all this ; Bakr al-Baghdadi’s wife is Baghmomi, and she calls him, affectionately, daddi; or maybe big-daddy, or al-bad-daddi, oh never mind

  18. Libertydan says:

As a former CIA Director said, “We will know that we have been successful when everything the American people believe is a lie”.
Indeed, the enemy of Truth, and Justice, and Peace, and Tranquility operates within the CIA. JFK tried to end the CIA and they pulled off a coup in broad daylight that ended America as we knew it (Camelot was short lived) . A country that once symbolized Truth and Justice for all, is now dominated by those that seek power through lies and deceit. The best deceivers(like Rachel Maddog)are paid top dollar for their ability to sell lies to the masses (and the ratings appear to show that it is working).
I used to think of Lawyers as professional Liars, but now I see them as almost honest when compared to main stream media pundits. It’s almost as if they want to test how much false reality they can sell to the masses. And, when the masses can no longer decipher lies from reality, the CIA will know that they have taken away all of America’s freedoms.
A Secret police like the CIA should never have been formed and should not be allowed to exist, for they are the enemy of freedom and a tool of the elites.

  19. Is it even actually possible for them to be so bad at lying/deception/propaganda?
It seems like they’d have to be borderline retarded.

I have to wonder if it’s some kind of strategy such as the “so ridiculous it must be true” strategy, or some kind of secret society code that doesn’t permit them to produce lies/propaganda of a caliber that could fool intelligent men. They’re only allowed to dupe the dumbest of the dumb masses — justified as a penalty for wallowing in stupidity when (in their mind) the path to illumination has been paved for all.

    • Mintaka says:

      I share your observation.
Not only is the US sowing its own demise, it is being made to look like a fool while doing so.
Oh, how a certain minority group is wringing its hands in glee whilst drooling from the mouth.
The Joker has been played, again.

      • manbearpig says:

“The Joker has been played again”… I like that Mintaka… gonna have to give that some thought…

I’ve always maintained that the chump Trump was brought in to personify the old imperialistic rowdy populist make-it-rich American Dream with pin-ups and missiles and golden skyscrapers so that it could all be knocked down and burned in effigy before the eyes of the entire world to collectively, almost ritualistically, condemn on the public square all that America once stood for, to purge any such sexist, racist petrol-driven dreams or aspirations from the collective psyche

and make way for a new clean global smart and sustainable vision for the future, transhumanist for some, neo-feudalistic for others and technocratic for all.

On a totally other note, speaking of celebrities embodying symbols; within the Framework of a class about feminism and the media I showed my students a video where:

“In 2010, Syria’s First Lady Asma al-Assad talked to diplomats and intellectuals at the Paris Diplomatic Academy. She spoke without notes, about Syria’s history and how that heritage informs daily life.”

To be honest I haven’t really listened closely to this extremely poised and articulate speech (explaining Syria’s the cradle of our civilisation and seemed like a plea to not come rain bombs down on her please).

I just wanted to show the images and listen to the sound (not the content particulalry). I asked my students to tell me which “first lady” this was. Nobody figured it out: (all business students, no uni students). A most gratifying exercise that had its intended effect.

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySlT5un6Ddg

“The Joker has been played again”…hmmm…

        Happy All Saint’s Day!

        • HomeRemedySupply says:

She speaks well, comfortably and focused with a pleasant approach, like you said “extremely poised and articulate speech”.

In November 2010, an article came out entitled:
“Top 5 Most Personally Safe Countries”…with Syria #5
          http://www.banderasnews.com/1011/to-globaltop5.htm

Note: It seems based on a 2009 Gallup Poll “Do you feel safe walking alone at night?”

The article might had been a government PR piece. I don’t know.

          • generalbottlewasher says:

Nice find MBP. Some time has passed since than. The gathering storm and the importance diplomatically of this
” PR ” or maybe veiled address and proclamation is of great significance. Why? The proceeding 9 years of hell that rained down on Syria. Maybe the French actors failed to deliver. The American Zionist actors sure delivered something. This need for museums should work if it educates the masses of a history that should not get repeated.
There was a question offered up about the money power and tied with ” UNESCO putting on the red light. The Queen of Syria had a diplomatic retort. I thought it an eloquent dodge.Globleize is a tough language to comprehend.
I will offer she may of had an ear piece, for the diplomatic importance time has shown it to have been. Did you notice the vulture LeGaurde in the front row?
This was an interesting find and I wonder why it hasn’t been memory-holed? I would like to ask an historian , like Corbett, MacGregor, Docharty to decipher what act this scene is in the play ” Syria 2020″

            • manbearpig says:

Well didja send the link to the waybackmachine GBW?
Yes of course I’d Always noticed how “Lucky 7 Lagarde” marred the landscape of this video.
I rewatched it, and I agree there’s an interesting moment that makes you Wonder why it wasn’t memory-holed. But Don’t forget this fine lady’s worked for Deutschebank and JP Morgan. And then there’s this perspective:
“…In the coming years, France held the power to veto legislation proposed by Syrian presidents and prime ministers and legislatures aided by this constitution. France’s power to veto legislation made “a charade out of Syrian political life and lent it an aura of unreality.”38 During the mandate period, France ruled Syria through French administrators and advisers as effectively as any colony; no significant decision could be taken at any level without French approval. After nearly 20 years of the mandate, Syria remained without independence, without institutions of self-government and without territorial unity. In the coming years, France held the power to veto legislation proposed by Syrian presidents and prime ministers and legislatures aided by this constitution. After nearly 20 years of the mandate, Syria remained without independence, without institutions of self-government and without territorial unity.
The numerous divisions and re-divisions of Syria over a quarter century obstructed the development of a unified administrative elite. The outcome was that Syria emerged after 1945 as a unitary state with very little experience of unity. A fundamental social and political reconstruction that might, in the longer term, have generated a democratic and stable society was not part of the French plan. The process of political radicalization was initiated during the era of the French mandate, the legacy of which was almost a guarantee of Syria’s political instability…”

Thank you MBP. I have so little understanding of Syria. I have meet a few Syrian refugees here in my little city and all have shown to me kindness and a complete lack of acute pregidious. Very open and with an worldly attitude. However Im like Will Rogers, I never meet an immigrant i didn’t like. The food was fantastic during holidays. Thanks for the informational link. Fascinating WW1 info.

            I would rather feel unsafe.

        • Mintaka says:

MBP, I notice your concealed reference to that day in September 2001.
Point taken, and you’ve already made the link to Syria and this is what we need to do, widen this “concept” to other countries around the world, especially in the Middle East, Africa and South-East Asia.
In essence, the same is going on there, the destruction of culture & history by an OUTSIDE force, or forces.
So many examples of this, I’m not even going to mention them, but one of the first would be the Bamyan Buddha statues in Afghanistan. And consistently this gets blamed on “Islamic fanatics”, when nothing could be further from the truth.
As the Syrian First Lady says in that interview, Syria has been occupied by a myriad of different cultures. The same goes for neighbour Lebanon, I’ve been there and have seen this myself. It is a beautiful country and you can see this cultural history in places such as Byblos or in the national museum in Beirut. What struck me most was that you can hear church bells coming from one area and then Muslim prayer towers from another. These religions exist peacefully, side by side. Today.
The demeaning & demonizing BS we in the West are spoon-fed on a daily basis by the MSM about these regions of the world is just nauseating and so far from reality, it’s almost laughable.
          It’s all upside-down, back-to-front and inside-out.

The problem is, within a few generations you can wipe out any memory of previous cultures, not only from the history books, but even the physical evidence. As if they never existed.

Now, which tiny (rogue) state in the Middle East would hugely benefit from this destruction – including the US & Europe – as part of their long-term plans?
That tiny minority that is the master of deception, infiltration and subterfuge, already mentioned and written about in the 19th century?

          • manbearpig says:

Well, I agree it’s tempting to put it all on Rothschild’s zionchild Israel… very tempting indeed… I can’t think of anyone who’d have more money and power than the Rothschilds… but that would also be uncomfortably easy…deceptively easy…

How ’bout Heller-highwater’s gazillionth treatise against the Orwellian rewriting of climate history in which Seth Borentstein is referenced. Mr. Corbett had wondered why he knew that name, maybe it’s ’cause of the article referenced within this short video, The Big Switch:

            https://realclimatescience.com/2019/10/new-video-the-big-switch/

kindof a big switch in topic…

    But:
Hitler was still alive after WW2.
The burned body was of a woman.
There were multiple witnesses seeing him during and after the
fall of Berlin. There was a trace from Berlin to Argentina.
    Source: “Hunting Hitler”.

Many Nazis also joined the CIA and NASA,
while others were performing tortures in Chile.

    • Blameitontheboogie says:

The pilot of the plane which flew Hitler out of Berlin wrote a book about it some years ago. Staff of Juan Peron reported seeing Hitler after the war as did staff at a hotel in Argentina. I was told by someone I know whose father was Russian and very political (he was imprisoned for criticising Stalin) that they knew in Russia that Hitler had escaped and they had the skull and knew it was a woman.

I liked this « tunnel of no return » yarn about
the end of Al Souer Awil Suhn Bebakh,
and welcome the narrative effort from Uncle Donald,
except he could have put more strength into it,
    less teleprompter, and more conviction,
I didn’t really feel I was in the middle of the action, perhaps more details could have been providedto make the story more engrossing, the ignition of the explosive vest as an ending was a tad predictible,
but in the day and age of call of psyops
and battlefield is duty, I tip my hat to the Donald for resurrecting
the ancestral art of the campfire tales.

    • That’s one of the most interesting things about music.
A song, or style of music, that speaks directly to the core of one person — perhaps even profoundly affecting them — can be highly unappealing and unmoving in the ears of another person. Even in the case of two people who otherwise have very similar/compatible interests & tastes.
There are obviously certain songs & sound combinations that have very wide appeal (nearly universal appeal in some cases), but certain songs & music styles are like a key-keyhole thing.

      • manbearpig says:

Interesting observation. But I think it just goes to show how selfish my gesture was. I was doing it for me and not for anyone else, let alone our deserving website master, so to speak. In repentant retrospection, I hope he likes Rickie Lee Jones.

  23. Blameitontheboogie says:

An interview emerged in 2018 of an interview with Benezir Bhutto in 2007 not long before she was assassinated. In the interview she was talking about Osama Bin Laden, who of course she knew, having died several years earlier of kidney disease. But of course Barack Obama stated that he had been killed by navy seals in 2010. Those same navy seals who not long after were all together in a helicopter which crashed and all were killed. Both al Baghdadi and Osama Bin Laden were buried at sea according to Muslim tradition according to the MSM. Except it isn’t, Muslims believe in burying people in the ground. Mmmm. Obviously there’s nothing suspicious about any of this and I, like James, am just a wicked conspiracy theorist.

    https://www.corbettreport.com/interview-1494-destroying-the-isil-myth-on-the-last-american-vagabond/

    Descriptive:
    via The Last American Vagabond:
The US government armed Osama Bin Laden; it armed Saddam Hussain with chemical weapons to be used against Iran in 1980; it armed the very groups that later became ISIS. Yet we are sold an entirely different yarn by the US government and its lap dog MSM. Today I have invited James Corbett on the show to very clearly, and once and for all, demonstrate who is actually responsible for the creation and the rise of ISIS.
