So what’s on your summer reading list?
Interesting that you chose July to speak about books. I gather that the Japanese call July “The Month of Books,” (fumizuki) but I can’t seem to find out why. Do you have a resource that explains this James (since you live there I thought you might be able to help)? I’m writing an article for my site about astronomical events in July and I’m interested in knowing the origin of “The Month of Books”, the etymology. One site said something about the festival, Tanabata, but that seems tenuous to me.

I am also reading the Holy Bible-an older Oxford University Press edition featuring King Solomon and Babylon the whore, in all their glory.
I also recommend The Genesis Factor by Yacov Rambsel, a messianic Jew. Using a code technique called ELS, or equidistant letter spacing, he has revealed the mathematical complexity of the Hebrew language and the prophetic insights in the Book of Genesis.
