5 Ridiculous New Year Predictions (Guaranteed To Not Come True!)
Happy New Year, everybody!…
…Right? It is going to be a happy new year, right? Regime change operations in Iran and nuclear button talk in North Korea and biometric banking and a million other concerns beside, it is going to be a happy new year, isn’t it?
You see, it’s just that the last article I read in 2017 was this horrifying treatise on “Everything Amazon’s Alexa learned to do in 2017” and it just seemed so ridiculously à propos to my year-end editorial on technocracy that it was almost hard to get excited for the dawning of 2018.
I mean, really. Everything Alexa “learned to do” in 2017. Learned to do. As if it’s a person. A perfect stranger that millions of people are happily inviting into their homes to share in their most private and intimate moments, even though they are fully aware (and fully expect) that the infernal contraption will be sending all that data off to Amazon to be analyzed (and to the NSA to be data mined, of course). It’s infuriating.
So I think we could all do with a little levity to begin the year, right? I know I can. And what better way to start things off than by skewering all the ridiculous new year prediction lists that are no doubt clogging your news feed right now (and having a little fun while we’re at it)?
So, without further ado, I present five ridiculous new year predictions that I guarantee will not actually happen this year!

Finally, Mr. James Corbett arrives at the conclusion that the demand for his type of journalism / media / knowledge is way above the capabilities of one single individual, and finally decides to start bringing in new volunteers and paid team members to start meeting the demand from his members.

The reason i ask is, i have recently stumbled on a youtube channel hosted by a Dr. Osama Fawzi, an Arab American who runs a newspaper called Arab Times out of Houston, who happens to have the same political understanding as you and I enjoy, enhanced by years of working as journalist and having the contact base to confirm many of the rumors we hear about the middle east. I though i would mention this in case you will find it useful.

I am in the Dallas area (about 4 hours drive northnorthwest from Houston). Derrick Broze (Corbett has interviewed him repeatedly) lives in the Houston area.

Yes… colourful character.. certainly, entertaining.. hugely (if you speak arabic – i nearly have my sides splitting when i listen to him). but most important is he is a guy who reached our age, and does not give a %$£& any more, and he tells it like it is.
3 Arab intelligence agencies are trying to shut him down and destroy his creative and informative channel. and off course, he is censored in majority of arab world, and can only be accessed via vpn.
But he has full understanding of all Arab politics and who is pulling the string and how. He is even aware of what “Blackwater” is doing in the arab world, and under whos dollars.
And as an indirect, he will have a barometer on the Oil price direction due to political expectations.
He only focuses on the Arab issue currently, which means we get to miss his wisdom on America and Europe.

I really hope Dr. Fawzi gets to spend time on Corbett report and other “Global issues” sites. I understand he prefers to focus on “Arab” issues and countries, but Arab countries are part of the world and to understand what is happening in the Arab world, you will need to understand the Global picture… the 35,000 feet view.

BACKSTORY
This past week, we had a “win” for our side with the publication in Black community oriented newspaper, the North Dallas Gazette. Part of our current strategy is more focus surrounding the ethnic and disenfranchised aspects.

For about 3 months, I have been working to get some local press while Regina and others have been focusing on “Open Record Requestsâ€, networking, a new website “Dallas For Safer Waterâ€, and Council presentations.
I succeeded with one article a few weeks back, but it was a hit piece in the Dallas Morning Defecation News Wipe.
This recent Gazette article should help to build momentum.
Hopefully, it may also spur other local ethnic publications to join in… …For example, we have been in communication with some of these other publications… I mean, Dick Gregory was very good friends with one local Editor.

It is simple enough…’DuckDuckGo Search’ Dallas apartment complexes or locate one of GW’s cul-de-sac neighbors’ addresses or perhaps use one of Mark Cuban’s mansions.
These type of actions really do help. We see behavioral changes.
For example, recently Regina has been doing tons of open records requests with the Water Department. Things then started getting more costly and tougher and more strained just to get simple answers. Also, suddenly she notices that the Water Department had a recent “training firm” update staff on “water fluoridation safety measures”.
It is kind of humorous to see, like a parent watching a very young child wiggle and waggle some kind of lie.

Councilman Callahan said: “…I’ve received emails from over 200 Dental Organizations, American Medical Society, Scientific Groups….”
From an “Open Records Request”,it was discovered that Callahan received only 13 pro-fluoride emails, but over 600 anti-fluoridation emails.

On more consideration, I have to conclude there are some worrying side stories stemming from that video.
Firstly, one may not ignore the fact that the conducted procedure isn’t scientific. They went in with the intent to prove something and they “proved” it, in a limited scope and on a small amount of specimens. The sole fact that “love” jar had 2x higher chance to turn out better than the two other jars is enough to warrant scrutiny. The effect of random fungus and bacteria hasn’t been taken into account during this presentation, making it invalid.
I’m not saying I don’t agree with the general message, about how if you keep pumping shit in the outer world you’re bound to get a bunch of shit back, because I definitively do agree that a positive outlook is essential. Even if this “positive energy” doesn’t have an esoteric effect (something that is not proven that it has, beyond reasonable doubt, with such “experiments”) it will form a vastly different (I’d venture to say better) experience for the observer.
The other issue is that, even with such people as these two who are obviously very well informed and proactively try to turn stones every day, they can allow themselves to be swayed by their preconceived notions. Most of their viewership on that video, as evidenced by the comments section, fell hook, line and sinker for the same trap, blindly grasping for a blind belief, while completely ignoring their analytical self. Mel at one point even jokes about how people manage to debunk this “phenomena” as it’s easy to debunk but bleh, she believes otherwise so there. Debunking a blind belief is, for all intents and purposes, impossible, as thousands of years of history prove true.
This goes only to show that old adage about “eternal vigilance” still stands.

Over the years, I have tested dowsing with approximately 100 random people. Only two people failed to be able to affect the dowsing rods, both of which had compromised skin on their hands. One guy had some kind of chemically burned hands which were cracker dry, and the other had extremely withered-skin dry hands.
Ha! One time in the 90’s I even grabbed about 10 young elementary students, blindfolded them, and had then walk forward towards a bucket of water. When they approached the bucket, the dowsing rods went into action.
Here is a short video I made (under 6 minutes) from 10 years ago. The last guy is one of my grandsons. The Texas A&M Commerce Campus is about 2,000 acres with a huge network of underground piping. Many buildings have been also been heated with a water system.

#4. Central Bank charter denied and Federal Reserve governors in panic. Wallstreet single day loses set new record. Gold climbs to over 10k ounce.
#5. Clinton’s flee US as search continues to find receiver for 167 Federal indictments.Their whereabouts unknown. Clinton daughter turns states witness in exchange for immunity rumored.
#6. James Corbett of western Japan’s’ The Corbett Report’ accepts Asia bureau Editor in Chief of the B.B.C.. He was quoted ” my grandfather Percy Corbett of the I.I.P.R. would be so proud.”
I predict that Christians will actually start to read the bible.

Very timely, Won Fat, in light of the recent US headlines featuring a Former Youth Pastor who taught sexual purity classes (now Pastor) performing damage control at his current mega-church where, with head literally hung low and shoulders slumped, he confessed to a “sexual incident” 20 years ago with one of his charges (who publicly outed him after his hypocritical tweets tsk-tsking Matt Lauer’s sins) and got a 20 second standing ovation from the 1000+ congregation for feeling “bad” about it.
I love reading the Bible with pastors. I always start them off with Matthew 7:22-23 to set the tone.

Seriously, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say many protestant christians do read their bibles, but it’s an intellectual disaster at the get-go thanks to orthodoxy where foundational assumptions have everything to do with interpretation and subsequent behavior.
That’s why I’m always banging my philosophical drum by pointing to such sources as “Ominous Parallels†by Leonard Peikoff and the somewhat similar albeit more expanded examination undertaken by Dr. Tjeerd Andringa who published his findings at “Geopolitics and Cognition†(who I’d have never heard of were it not for reading a brilliant comment by Andringa himself here at The Corbett Report).
Lord knows James wears dozens of hats and covers that many topics and then some in any given year.
